Highlights: SC Freiburg - West Ham United | Europa League 23/24

34 200 fans in Freiburg the hut completely sold out and the sports club in compariso The team had changed two positions for the last league game they had won 2-0 against Augsburg Höfler is suspended in the league Rhein is available for Keitel and Adamu with his starting debut for Lidsdoran on the right attacking side Freiburg has set itself a lot for this match and Vincenzo Grifo has also been involved recently Finally once again facing Augsburg in the league with a goal and assist David Moyes on the left Christian Streich on the right both coaches with great respect for Christian Streich Also the first game against a team from the Premier League West Ham in blue jerseys with a lot of momentum in the early stages Jared Bowne passes to Philipp Lienhardt who runs in and scores in the eighth minute making it 1-0 Lukas Paqueta thanked Jared Bowne received applause from David Moyes that was strong Played but also not well defended by Freiburg Lienhardt lets Bowne go and then in the center Paqueta Ginter doesn't come through properly o the head-to-head battle the air position then dominated by West Ham's midfield star Artu Bulu had a bit of bad luck the ball bounced and then went in A package for Freiburg the early deficit to digest first The men of Christian Streich had a match of 1 against Pireus won 3-2 and West Ham won 3-1 against Batschka Topola and Freiburg Faulty in the initial phase as Mohamed Kudus and Artu Bulu had a bit of luck and hit the post Mohamed Kudus from Ajax Amsterdam is incredible in 1v1 situations Freiburg Continuing with the mistake the ball is dangerous from Nalz and the ball is in the goal Lukas Paqueta scores with the second goal but the flag goes up and in the replay it is shown so that it can be clearly recognized that this hit does not deserve recognition He is too deep even though Höfler is still close it is not a targeted move Playing insofar as denying recognition to this hit is correct Pause in Freiburg the men of Vincenzo Grifo remain clearly below their own capabilities e has hardly brought anything forward and the captain Christian Günther is missing s momentum on the left side he is also a man who clearly Vincenzo Grifo more freedoms and makes him stronger second round Freiburg brought Dohr For Adamo there is Nitz Dohrn a good way there is Roland Scholloi Scholloi and Kübler and the ball bounced again in front of Roland Scholloi's feet and in the 49th minute it's 1-1 Christian Streich is happy his face still doesn't know it but they are right stay in this phase and here we look again Scholloi on the half track demands e pass from Dohrn where the space opens up between the two central defenders that is It's a great save and clearance then Fabianski twice outstanding Fabians He is also involved in the shot by Scholloi but with absolute determination Brings the ball under the net great how he scores Freiburg now on fire and Christian Streich knows that Aristotle's thesis must hold the whole must better tha The sum of its parts and its team is now working every gear is meshing In the middle Eggestein finds Dohrn the next Freiburg attack rolls he breaks the 1 agains 1 Roland Scholloi is in the middle there is Fabianski David Moyes notices that his The team is in trouble Höfler we are in the 55th Here comes Cedilla Cedilla to the torum wall and caves to the stands what a spectacle Large bet here on 2 to 1 the groundwork is excellent the head full von Cedilla is great a bit of bad luck here in this situation and Höhler with too muc A lot of power in the scene otherwise Freiburg is leading here encouraging words from Roland Scholloi towards his center forward the audience from minute 1 until the last Second completely there West Ham now also has a set piece interesting but Wes Ham scores through Naif Aguer the center -back puts West Ham back in the lead 66 Soccer minute the 1 to 2 from the sports club's perspective and of course we have to look at Noah Ataboulou look the German U21 national goalkeeper is coming out and when he comes out the He also has the ball Klaas Höfler is also a bit too far away from Aguer but the mistake is also the goalkeeper's West Ham dominated the first half but in the second they were far from it To play the stars down from the sky but now they are back in this game Kudus has the chance for a 3-1 David Moyes knows there are still a few more grains In the sand Kudus knows exactly when the scissors open but the fans cause a big commotion Ataboulou in the 90th minute Plus 4 also in front during the corner kick Dohan scores and the inserted Rohl heads the ball over the goal so the final score remains 2 West Ham secured a successful start with two wins on the first two matchdays Freiburg slept through the first half a strong second half wasn't enough to get anything from the match against West Ham
