Harold Godwinson (King of the English)

I find myself in a rather precarious situation and need some honest judgment.
So here's the story.
I'm Harold Godwinson, King of England, in the year 1066.
Recently I find myself under a simultaneous invasion by two different forces.
And I'm not sure if I'm handling it in the best way possible.
So am I the asshole for being invaded by two different people?
Here's the background.
In January 1066, my rival Harold Hardrada, King of Norway, claimed that he had a legitimate
right to the English throne.
He, along with Trondstedt Godwinson, my estranged brother, invaded Norway with a large army.
Needless to say, I wasn't too thrilled about that.
However, while dealing with the Norwegian invasion, I received another blow.
William, the Duke of Normandy, who also believed he had a rightful claim to the English throne,
landed in southern England with an army.
Two invasions from both ends of my kingdom.
Talk about bad timing.
Now here's where things get complicated.
I managed to repel the Norwegian invaders at the Battle of Stamford Bridge, which was
a victory for me.
But just a few days later, I received news that William and his army were marching on
my lands.
In the climactic Battle of Hastings, I fought valiantly, but at last my forces were overwhelmed
and I was killed in the battle.
Now I ask you, am I the asshole for not being able to simultaneously defend my kingdom from
two separate invaders?
I was able to deal with one of the invasions and had successfully repelled it before the
second occurred.
The invasions were unexpected and happened within a short span of time, leaving me little
opportunity to strategize and regroup.
I fought bravely until the very end, even though the odds were stacked against me.
The invasions were unjust as I was the legitimate king of England.
So am I the asshole for being invaded by two different people and not successfully
defending my kingdom against both?
I eagerly await your judgment.
