Welcome to the Storytelling Program.
We want to send you meaningful stories about life,
about deep training, to spread kindness,
help people be kind, change their minds and be healthy.
Today's story, we want to send to you and you have a topic.
Supporting students to overcome their difficulties by volunteering.
In recent years, Master has arranged for me to support students to overcome their difficulties.
There are bitter lessons as well as happy results.
Ami, a student, has been suffering from severe stomach pain for a long time.
Her husband has been pestering her to go to the hospital.
Because of this, Ami has to try her best to be patient and not let her husband see her suffering.
She came to visit me and told me about her condition.
I noticed that she was suffering a lot, but I didn't know what to do.
I just felt that we should make a commitment.
I realized that because whenever I overcome, even physical difficulties,
I will be able to overcome them by making a strong commitment,
as well as increasing my effort to study and practice.
Because of that, I told Ami why we don't make a commitment together.
When I just sat down and put my feet on the table,
suddenly I felt a warm heat all over my body.
That has never happened before.
I felt that I was enveloped in an endless energy field.
I knew that Master saw that what I did was right, so he valued and encouraged me.
After more than 30 minutes, we stopped.
Ami told me that she had not felt peaceful and peaceful for many days.
Both of us were greatly encouraged.
We repeated that many times, and every time we made a commitment,
we experienced clear results.
I told Ami that she could definitely overcome this.
After that, Ami told me that many times when she was in so much pain
that she thought she could die,
she remembered what I said.
She could definitely overcome this.
Her confidence then grew stronger,
and she was able to overcome every time like that.
Through Ami's successful experience,
both of us were more confident in our practice.
Once, a student met with a disease.
Her family wanted to find a French student to stay with her,
hoping for a miracle to happen.
The disciples knew that I didn't go, so they offered me to come.
At that time, I was living with my parents while I was looking for a job.
Because of that, I felt a little pressure.
My parents were holding a grudge against the French Revolution
because of the danger that I would lose my job
and my husband would be pressured to divorce me.
However, I believed that helping a friend was the right thing to do.
Because of that, I agreed.
Bach and I didn't know each other.
I was told that she used to be a coordinator of a fairly large training center.
On July 20, 1999,
she came to Beijing to pray and was detained in room 610.
During the time she was detained,
she was tortured to the point of losing her strength.
She was finally released.
At that time, the family arranged for her to live with her son
away from her peers.
After that, Bach lost his training environment.
Before that, for a long time,
her body showed signs of depression.
Bach had surrendered to the pressure of the family's torture
and forced treatment.
She had a relapse and was on the verge of death.
But Bach never gave up the French Revolution.
Finally, one day, she told her family
that only the French Revolution could save her.
Fully aware that hospital and medical care did not bring hope,
her family had no other choice
but to agree to take her home and ask local students for help.
It was time for me to help her.
Immediately, I joined hands with Bach.
Every day, we would give sermons,
learn French and master's scriptures,
as well as practice.
One day, Bach told me that she did not feel her anger
and energy coming back.
She saw that her improvement was amazing
and I was very happy for her.
I began to feel that from now on everything would be fine
and I could speak.
Other students thought that Bach only needed to read French.
I did not agree.
I thought that she also needed to read master's scriptures,
but I did not give any reason to object.
After that, I had some family duties and needed to stay at home.
I reported to Bach and arranged for another student to replace me.
When other students saw and realized that Bach was their former coordinator,
they were very happy and excited.
They began to spend a lot of time talking about the past.
I wanted to tell them to stop and focus on helping Bach
to practice and learn French,
but for many reasons, I did not say anything.
When I returned to visit Bach,
I saw that she had not improved at all during my absence.
I felt a little strange, but I did not care too much.
I thought that if we focused on learning French and practicing,
everything would be better.
At that time, my mother passed a few friends who found a job for me.
That put me in a difficult situation.
I should get a job or stay and continue to take care of Bach.
That day, focusing on my personal interests won.
I thought that having too many students there
would make my presence meaningless.
So I called Bach and told him that I had to deal with some work
and would be away for a short time.
Three days later, I received the news that Bach had passed away.
She was gone, but her eyes were still wide open.
Bach's family believed that if I could come to say goodbye to her,
it would be good because they felt that Bach was still waiting for me
before she could leave.
I was very emotional and depressed.
I was drowning in regret and regret.
In the pain of emptiness, I asked myself why.
When Bach needed me, when her life was hanging by a thread,
why did I only think about myself?
When I believed that above all, Bach needed to focus on learning French,
practicing and practicing,
and other students seemed to not fully realize that,
why didn't I say it?
I can't escape the feeling of guilt,
even though everyone has comforted and thanked me
and no one sees that I am guilty or responsible.
But I can't help but think that if I did better,
Bach would still be alive with us.
This year, the coordinator, Katie,
has shown signs of depression.
Her family took her to the hospital,
despite her opposition.
Katie begged her family to call me
so I could stay with her until she overcame her suffering.
From my experience with Bach,
I know that the space around Katie is full of evil elements
and I have to be very calm and calm
so that Katie does not meet the end like Bach.
Therefore, every afternoon after work,
I hurried to the hospital to learn French,
practice and practice with Katie until late at night.
Katie recovered very quickly.
Within a week, she was discharged from the hospital.
Days later, I continued to go to her house
and stay with her after the evening
until she fully recovered in about a month.
Now, Katie is strong and doing three things as before.
During the time I helped Katie,
I often came home very late at night.
At first, my mother was very worried and not satisfied,
and even had bad words with me.
So every time I stepped into the house,
I asked the master to teach me.
From the bottom of my heart, I told my mother
that I was helping a monastery,
that I was doing a good job.
Please don't be angry and upset anymore.
Not long after that, my mother no longer had a negative attitude
and she simply asked me if I had eaten dinner.
Through many times helping the monasteries overcome difficulties,
I have had some observations and awareness.
I want to share with the monasteries as follows.
What the students need most when they are suffering is compassion.
They need help,
but the help from their families can sometimes be counterproductive.
Encouragement, listening, understanding and empathy
can be a great comfort and bring positive effects.
To be firm under the continuous pressure of harm is not easy.
We have experienced many different kinds of suffering.
So have I.
Many times, I have hoped that the monasteries would understand,
support and help.
If at that time we only think about blaming or criticizing,
we are standing on the side of the old force and will increase the harm.
In the story of the weak sister, the master said,
In the history of destruction,
it is not the first time that the old force has done harm to the practitioner.
Although there are different points of view,
the purpose is to destroy the will of the practitioner.
We have to use compassion and kind words
to raise the consciousness of the monasteries
that are struggling with suffering
and allow the old force to destroy the consciousness of the students.
There was a time when Daisy's student was suffering from a long-term illness.
Daisy was very worried that she could lose the reputation of the French
when she had long-term symptoms and she could lose her life.
So she went to medical treatment.
The students in her family didn't know what to do,
so they looked for me and asked me to come and see Daisy's condition.
In the first conversation with Daisy,
she cried and admitted to me that she didn't practice well
and she didn't know what to do.
At that time, I told Daisy not to be rude.
Who said you didn't practice well?
No one can see the good in your practice.
No one can decide this.
Only the master knows and decides.
Daisy was comforted a lot.
Her condition improved.
She was confident again.
She told me,
I know the master has approved the diagnosis for me.
With the help from the students in the family,
Daisy managed to stop all the methods of medical treatment
and strengthen her mental practice.
Sally's student was severely depressed
and had a series of family problems
and couldn't get out of that state.
I was asked to visit her.
I decided to find time to study French with her.
During this process,
Sally talked to me in detail about her problems.
I listened with empathy.
I also contacted some of my similar experiences and sufferings.
In the end, Sally's mental state was restored.
Through studying and practicing French,
she was able to let go of many attachments
and was able to understand French more deeply.
Helen practiced in a calm way,
but after being caught,
in a moment of weakness and confusion
when being tortured in a brainwashing center,
she was deceived and gave up her faith in French.
When she was released,
she fell into a state of extreme regret.
And so, for a long time,
she was overwhelmed with extremely negative thoughts.
I understood very clearly what she was going through.
I told her that she couldn't let the old force
destroy her will to practice.
In the end, she also felt discouraged.
She told me,
I believe that it was Master who guided her to tell me this.
The second thing I was surprised about
was that the students were being helped to have a tendency
to rely on the students helping them
to find hidden attachments and eliminate evil.
Because of that,
the students were doing their best to help the disciples
overcome their suffering and to have a clear awareness
that except for a little ability to help the disciples to practice,
everything was done by Master.
Master's Dharma is always with us.
Master said,
My disciples know everything.
Whatever you think, they know.
They can do anything.
If you don't practice, they don't care about you.
If you practice, they will help you.
The story of Pháp Luân
At all times,
especially in important moments
and in times of need,
we must remember that we are the disciples of the Great Dharma.
If we pray to Master,
Master will definitely be there to help us.
And another thing I was surprised about was that
in trying to overcome the mind like the peaceful and selfish mind,
we need to be patient.
And because of that,
no matter what happens,
we should not give up our faith.
In my district,
we often hold joint seminars
to help the students who are being arrested
or who are having to overcome their illness.
At the time of the 2000 Thế Vận Hội,
a student was arrested at the production site of our Great Dharma documents.
Because I not only knew her,
but I was also close to her family.
I would practice meditation for hours
so that she could be released soon.
At first, I did not find it effective.
Actually, I felt weak and powerless
to the extent that I was not sure if I should continue or not.
In an uncertain state,
I thought I had to continue
because Master had taught us
that practicing meditation is very beneficial.
So I had to do what Master asked me to do.
I sat at the table.
Immediately, for the second time in my life of meditation,
I felt that I was enveloped in a very large energy field.
I knew that was Master's message
and that I had done the right thing.
Finally,
I stepped out of the brainwashing center
under the power of experience from us and from her.
During the process of helping the students,
I have learned a lot.
There are many things that cannot be told here,
but I want to mention one thing.
Ms. Le has overcome a severe cancer.
Now she has completely recovered.
The last time we sat face to face and practiced meditation,
I could feel my stomach growl and growl.
I was in a daze for a moment.
A few days later,
I realized that it was the Dharma
that was spinning in my lower abdomen
while I was practicing meditation.
It was Master who was encouraging me.
Above me were my body and mind.
I am happy to point out what is not appropriate.
That's all for today's story.
I sincerely thank you for listening.
