Pemerintah Indonesia fokus mengevakuasi 10 WNI yang berada di Palestina khususnya Jalur Gaza sembari berupaya menghentikan eskalasi kekerasan di kawasan. Hal ini disampaikan Juru Bicara Kementerian Luar Negeri Muhamad Iqbal di Nusa Dua, Bali, Selasa (10/10). Iqbal juga menjelaskan jika Menlu Retno terus berkomunikasi dengan berbagai pihak untuk mengupayakan penghentian kekerasan. (ANTARA)

The Indonesian government is focusing on evacuating Indonesian citizens in Palestine,
especially those who are currently on the Gaza Strip.
Not only that, Indonesia is also actively pushing for an end to the escalation of the conflict.
The statement was made by the foreign ministerial spokesman,
then Muhammad Iqbal, at the AIS Forum meeting in Bali on October 10.
Iqbal explained that the foreign minister, Retno Marsudi,
also continues to communicate with various key parties
to look for opportunities to end the escalation of violence.
We have set up a contingency plan,
and at the moment, in the coordination stage carried out by the Beirut,
Amman and Cairo regional governments,
to implement the contingency plan,
our focus is on the effort to evacuate Indonesian citizens in Palestine,
especially those who are currently on the Gaza Strip.
Based on data from the IAEA,
45 UNI members are in Palestine,
with 10 people on the Gaza Strip,
who are targeted by the Israeli military air force.
