I'm sorry, buddy Anyways, so we're gonna veg have him relax. He's watching Bugs Life because your favorite bug is what Oh Rhinoceros beetle I Don't even know what kind of bug that is, but it sounds cool, bud Lizard that's a beetle anyway, so we're watching Bugs Life I'm live with Cass Jada went over to Papa's house Mimi and Papa are running errands and Andrew is taking care of some stuff. Sorry you're sick All right, so I am on my way to get my car I'm finally getting my car back the AC unit just like blew up They said it like blew a hole through like the casing and I guess the whole thing was contaminated So they literally had to redo the whole thing So I am on my way finally to pick it up The funny thing is the rental car they gave me was literally my exact car Down to the color which was hilarious So I'm gonna stop get some gas in this car go pick up my car and then bring home some lunch cuz Cass again is not Feeling good. So poor little guy is just resting at home with Andrew So I know it's like super weird, but I love the smell of gas It's like really an issue, but I just like when I go here. You guys know me I've do ice chai's normally, but lately I've been doing a lot of caramel macchiatos with extra caramel It's so so good. And I also got a cake pop. It's actually like a cookie dough cake pop, which is like really good So I'm picking up Starbucks going back I got something for the kids something for Andrew and then we're gonna go back and I'm starving and I think Andrew said he actually made some lunch. Okay, we are going to have kebabs on the grill But right now I'm getting ready to make pan-fried potatoes one of Hannah's favorite. Yeah Okay, so we are having kebabs tonight and watermelon because the kids love watermelon and we're gonna have pan-fried potatoes Which I love that she makes it so yummy. This is one of my favorite snacks the laughing cow Was mine and my mom's tips Swiss with Ritz crackers. Apparently, this was a favorite of my grandma's and my great-grandma's So I figured I could pass on my traditions. Yum. Yum. Yum Dang, this looks good We got kebabs going on over here some bacon wrapped asparagus veggies and fruit steak Jaden what's going on, honey? You do there's a hundred two fevers how much 102 did she just get a fever you've been feeling miserable for a while now You want me to lay by you for a little bit Poor kid. Have she has she ever had a few? Do you remember her ever having a fever this high? Never right, even as a baby Cass has had really high fevers, but Jane you've never really ever had high I put some of that headache stuff on her. She said she feels really Baby, you know miserable Phoebe's coming to check on you beansie Alright guys, so we have two sick kids. I've actually been fighting off some sort of cold I told Hannah like all week long I actually felt like there was moments where I had a fever, but they both hit a hundred and two On their fevers tonight, and they're both kind of laying around not feeling too good They both actually just got an appetite and it's almost Bedtime now we got Phoebe back there play with a new toy. That's the little squeaking you here. She's kind of pumped up She's got her cat in the hat squeaky toy. I don't know so guys. This is Leopold. Yeah You look like you know All right, so the kids are getting ready for bed, but we're getting the kids ready for bed They're both sick, so they're gonna be sleeping in our room tonight That should be interesting all right guys, so we're gonna close the vlog out for tonight today was like super special I think for both of us having Mimi and Papa come into town the crazy like keep asking Cass is asking like non-stop It's Mimi leaving us or she's staying so it's really cool being able to tell them that no this is their home now So they are actually moving out to Southern California, and they are in the process of buying a house out here So while they look for a house and get settled in out here in Southern, California with us They are going to be staying with us for a while. They've moved out here to be close to family Which is really cool. We're gonna love having both sets of grandparents clothes my kids are spoiled with that I didn't have any grandparents growing up, so this is gonna be crazy You did you grew up in like a big family? Another thing that we do want to talk to you guys about and be like a little bit open with is our thoughts on having Another kid I know that a lot of people have been talking about this Asking lots of questions our thoughts on more children or what we're thinking we opened up a little bit to you guys about our adoption story and Honestly, it's in our hearts to have another child But there's a lot of things that come with it with Andrew being a type 1 diabetic There's all the concerns of passing it down to our children. Yeah, there's a potential risk the risk is small Still there's a little bit higher risk when the father is a type 1 diabetic I don't believe that I carry the diabetic gene There's always that potential risk that our child Could or develop type 1 diabetes at some point in their lives and that includes Caspian and Jaden as well So when we think and talk about having another kid that's always kind of at the top of our mind like okay We got to make sure that we're praying about this and that we're you know doing our research and just making sure and in staying Healthy, you know keeping good blood sugars and anyway, so yeah there like you said There's always that risk of our children actually developing a juvenile diabetes can actually develop up to the age of 20 So actually I was reading studies now people are people can get it even into their 50s or at any point Oh, wow Anyways, so I know that worry is just something that you do as people and I try not to worry and give everything up To God I've been learning a lot especially in the Bible study that we've been going through Call breaking free that worry is something that I shouldn't carry on me because there's no promise that even tomorrow So I know that's something that I need to give up but it's still hard as a person and in my nature obviously Which is why I need to give it up to not worry So we're praying, you know, God has put it on both of our hearts that we both want more children So I don't I don't think that the worry and the fears will Control us in that way, but I do think that it's always something that's there a little bit So yeah That is our thoughts on children and we wanted to open up to you guys a little bit be a little bit raw Express a little bit about what we're feeling for that so you guys can know especially since you've been so awesome Coming on this journey with us and being so supportive.
