AJ, how do you feel about Steve Smith and Jerry Judy's moment before the game?
How do you feel about Steve Smith's promo?
And how do you feel about Jerry Judy kind of baiting it all on live and in person?
I kind of love every aspect of this.
I think Tyreek Hill even commented afterwards, right, and said, I like both of these guys.
I like both of what they're doing.
And I agree with him, like Steve Smith's promo, which I think we'll run here in a second when
he drops the mic and sends it back to studio and you see their reaction is a beautiful
thing.
Tyreek Hill coming out, getting all juiced up before the game, dancing behind him as
another nice little added wrinkle.
And then it just keeps going.
And I have a feeling this isn't going to, it's not going to end anytime soon.
But I know we do have a clip to run there, Foxy, if you want to pop that thing up.
We saw Steve Smith's, I believe these are his initial comments on the field, right?
A short while ago, Broncos wide receiver Jerry Judy was walking by and Steve called out to
him.
He got a different reaction.
I called out to him because on my podcast, Cut To It, I just talked about guys that maybe
have not showed up in a way or in a manner.
And so the word that I've used to describe him in the past was a jack, just a guy.
And so when I saw him, he's playing well.
I wanted to say to him face to face, like, hey, I know I said some things in the past
I probably shouldn't have.
And I'm sorry.
That's what I wanted to say to him.
His response, Mike Robb and Bucky was ninja.
Ninja?
Yes, I'm using the word ninja.
I'm just using the word ninja.
I don't mess with you.
It wasn't ninja.
It was a curse word.
And so I was like, all right.
And then he repeated it.
So I'll say it again.
I'm sorry that I said you were a jack, just a guy who's an average wide receiver.
They use a first round pick on that isn't doing anything.
I hope today that you actually show up in a way that you haven't showed up in the last
couple of years since they drafted you.
So if you ever got a problem with Agent 89, I'm sorry for saying that you're an average
wide receiver, that they eventually will move on.
And when teams call me and ask him, should they trade for you?
I will say no, don't trade for Jerry Judy because he's mentally unable to handle constructive
criticism from people who watch specifically.
Can he be a wide receiver?
He could be a wide receiver.
He's a tier three.
Go back into the studio.
I'm done now.
Thank you.
What do you think?
Unreal.
I love it.
I love everything about it.
I do appreciate the fact that the Jerry Judy said, I heard you.
You know what I mean?
And he didn't just, you know, say, oh, it's all good.
You're doing your job.
You're doing their thing.
But also Steve Smith senior, that's the most Steve Smith senior situation of all time.
I want to tell this guy, I was sorry.
I wanted to, but then my brain just wouldn't let me with how he was acting.
So he's tier three.
He makes it even worse.
Not only just the guy, he goes, you want to talk to me?
Okay.
I'm already certified, pal.
My record, my resume already where you will dream to get to.
You're tier three.
Let's get the hell out of here.
And Darius Butler put out a tweet.
It was like, hey, listen, let's remember Jerry Judy, South Florida boy too.
So he ain't, you know what I mean?
He's not going to just kind of let that fly.
I love this.
This is good for the game.
It's good for the sport.
I assume they'll make up and move past it.
But a lot of the things Steve Smith said, I think we're pretty, you know, I assume Broncos
fans are thinking a lot of the same thing.
Russell Wilson had a QBR of what, 10.1 last night.
The worst QBR that Sean Payton has ever had a quarterback have, I think.
So I assume Jerry Judy's also wondering about, is this the right situation for him to succeed?
Why he hasn't succeeded as much.
And I think he's probably excited to get to a new place.
But Steve Smith said, I ain't going to help you get anywhere.
I'm going to tell people that he shouldn't trade for you.
Even though Jerry Judy come to the Indianapolis Colts tomorrow.
Yeah.
Judy had three receptions for 14 yards.
Russell, the quarterback, he was 13 of 22 for 95 yards with a touchdown and two picks.
So not a whole lot of yardage to be had out there.
If you were a receiver, we'd have to go back and watch play by play on the old 22.
If you want to see like how, how many times was Judy actually open and everything?
I mean, their offense is just struggling, right Ty?
Terrible.
And that's like, I kept thinking last night that when they hired Hackett, the whole narrative
was like, Hey, we get Rogers.
This roster is ready to go win a Superbowl right now.
And by and large, like it's the exact same team with the exception of Russell's there.
And yeah, they, they're missing a few guys, but like, how can you be so wrong on that?
Like they, they really thought, Hey, if we get Rogers in here with Hackett, this team
is ready to go win a Superbowl right now.
It's the exact same team.
And they're arguably the worst team in the NFL.
Yeah.
And not only did they, are they paying Russ all this money?
They also gave up a bunch of draft picks and everything, players that they sent to Seattle.
So I would, I would say Seattle is pretty happy with the trade at the moment, right
Con?
Oh yeah.
They listed out all the draft picks that are now players.
And I mean, they have like four or five starters.
Yeah.
Here's the graphic of it.
I believe the, I mean, obviously Charles cross is a starter, but that guy right below my
face, he's like second in pressure percentage in the NFL tackles or they got from it.
Studs.
No offense.
Witherspoon.
Obviously.
Yeah.
Like they have multiple starters and the Broncos just got stuck with Russell Wilson in a massive
that is impossible to get out of.
I believe he's owed like $50 million on the third day of next season's, you know, official
days.
I mean, it'll be interesting to see how the rest of the season plays out for the Denver
Broncos.
