Knott's Summer Nights 2023 | More Food Tasting & Review

Hello Bloggineers, your Knott's Ambassador is here. We're back at Knott's Summer Nights to try more tasting card items. Here's our first three items. So from Fiesta Village Papa's Mexicanos, we got the Lemon Butter and Garlic Shrimp Fries. You can also get this on the meal plan. This is probably the one I was looking forward to the most. And from the Wrap Booth, we got the Corn Chowder and the BLTA Lettuce Wrap. It looks so good. We've been waiting for this shop to open because it's been shut down for renovation. That's good. Hurry, I want some. Okay, ready? And since we have the dining plan, we could get this whenever. That's really cool. Yeah. There's so much flavor to this. And the garlic sauce is so spectacular. I give this 5 stars out of 5 just because of the garlic butter sauce that they used. I also give this a 5 out of 5 because you can also get it in the meal plan as well. Plus the flavor is just mind-blowing. It's called dining plan. Next is the chowder. I appreciate the amount of veggies and especially the corn that they used. And this is one of the thickest chowders I've ever had. 4 stars. Sorry, I'm still chewing the fries. Brother was right. It's super thick. But not in a bad way. It's actually very good. Super good. There's like corn, carrots, tomatoes, and pumpkin. Is that pumpkin or zucchini? I think that's zucchini. Oh yeah, it's that. I think that's zucchini actually. All combined, it's pretty good. 4 out of 5 stars. Our third item is the BLTA lettuce wrap. That's bacon, lettuce, tomato, and avocado. Now brother doesn't like avocado so I don't know if he's going to eat this. I'm probably not, but I'll just finish some fries. Not all of them because the cameraman needs some. But these are so good. This is pretty good and it's a healthy option. It's just that it's very much like potato salad. So it's not really what I expected, but I still like it. It's between 3 and 4 stars. Wait, it's between 3 and 4 stars. 3 and a half. I don't know, 3 and a half? Just do 3. He writes it 3 and a half stars, but we can't show 3 and a half because it's way too complicated. So just choose one. Just choose either it's 4 or 3. It's 5. Yeah, we can't. On the screen it will be either 3 or 4. We got two more food items. This one has a long name. Blue cheese and bacon cheeseburger slider with a pickled mayo. At first I thought slider meant something small, but this is actually huge. This is the size of a burger. And this is from the grilling booth. And this is the andouille sausage red beans and rice. My brother made an interesting observation which is that the grilling booth and the rat booth are basically the same booth. I'm going to fold this into a burger. Oh shoot, we don't want to waste that. Are we even going to have enough room for dessert? Well, after this we'll just get dessert. See that sauce over there? I'm really not quite sure what sauce they use, but this is very tasty. You can see that they actually do grill it well. Look at these lines, the streaks. I give this 5 stars out of 5 because I was impressed by the size and the taste of it. So this is not as I expected. I thought it would be more like jambalaya, but instead the sausage is shredded. And all this when you taste it, it's in the texture of chorizo. I wouldn't get this again, but it's not bad. I rate it 3 stars. I would say this is a very unusual rice. I guess if you're looking for something unique, and it does have beans. The best way I can describe this is bean rice, I guess. With a bit of... What kind of flavor is that? To me it tastes like... Okay, I think there's spice in this rice. Yeah, there is. I was definitely expecting something more jambalaya-ish. And compared to this really amazing burger, I just... This one is not as great, so I'll give it 2 out of 5 stars. If you come to this booth, you have to get this burger. It's amazing. The last item we're going to try is the apple pie cookie. And we intended on having more sweet items today, but then we got really full. And also it's kind of late, so some places shut down. But this I've seen on The Knot's Instagram before. It smells so good. It smells like apple pie. See? But he doesn't like apple pie. Yeah, but it still smells good. It smells like cinnamon and apple. You didn't get any of the apple pie though. I know. Let's try it, but I don't usually eat apple pies. But this has been all over Instagram. I already said that. I know that. And you don't have Instagram, so you wouldn't know. You guys told me that a few days ago. So the filling in the middle is exactly what would be inside of an apple pie. And I think that compared to an apple pie, this is the next best thing. It's also really big. See, look. It's like... Well, actually, no. It's the size of your palm. Great job. I was not holding it well. No, it is pretty sturdy though. It just crumbles. That's because I was holding the very tip. It's a crumble cookie. This is so good. As me not liking apple pie, this was pretty good. I'd rate it 4 stars. No, this is a 5. This is one of the best cookies I've had. I don't like apple pie, so that's why I'm rating it 4. I would get this again. But I do like chocolate chip cookies more. Yeah. And that's our second round of food at Summer Nights. You can watch the first one by clicking up here. My favorite food was the garlic fries. They were so scrumptious. And I could get it every single day on the meal plan. So I guess aside from that rice thing, I enjoyed all of the foods. And I would say that this year, overall, the food is really good in general at Summer Nights. One thing that stood out to me was the apple pie cookie. If we come back and make another video at Summer Nights, I would want to try more sweets. See you in the next video. Bye!
