"That's A Job For..." Presented By Jiffy Lube: AL Wild Card

Tampa coming out of this series victorious that's a job for presented by Jiffy Lube and that is a job for Jim Bowden to answer he's gonna tell us a storyline for each of these teams and what they need to do to try to get the win or something you're looking at Jim so let's start with Rangers and Rays what are your storylines for each team here? Well Amanda as you know the Texas Rangers have the best offense in the American League they led the league in runs they led the league in home runs but the biggest storyline for the Rangers is will their bullpen hold up during the regular season as bullpen was 11th out of 15 teams in the American League in terms of team ERA and more importantly they'd become the first team in baseball history to make the playoffs with more blown saves than saves in fact their save percentage just 47.6 that is the second worst in 40 years in baseball and the only team that was worse were the Diamondbacks of 2021 and that's a team that lost 110 games so that's a big storyline for Texas can the bullpen hold up now for Tampa Bay they have to deal with huge losses in their lineup second baseman Brandon Lau shortstop Wanda Franco and outfielder Brooks Raley all off the roster either for injuries or for legal issues so that means two of their stars have to step up and the big storyline is can Yandy Diaz and Rondy Orozarena be the guys to stand up Diaz won his first batting title this year at a career high in home runs and in terms of Randy we all remember the 2020 postseason when he had 10 home runs we saw him in the World Baseball Classic he loves the big stage he's gonna have to step up to beat Texas
