Rung Kao Lao Kret is a program that helps you learn more about history.
Let's go!
In the Middle Ages, King Baromkote took power from King Fah Apai who was the son of King Thaisa.
King Baromkote needed a lot of help from the ladies.
When he took power, King Ratchadhan gave him a lot of power.
King Ratchadhan began to worry that the ladies might gain power and become a threat to the kingdom.
Therefore, King Baromkote set up the King's army in more groups than ever before.
To prevent the ladies from thinking too much.
King Baromkote expanded the king's army from 3 to 12 groups.
Each group took care of their own army.
This turned out to be a double-edged sword.
On the one hand, the power struggle between the ladies and the king was effective.
It was effective to manage the affairs in the house.
On the other hand, it forced the power of the people to be scattered around.
When the war broke out from the outside, Ayutthaya had a problem in gaining the power of the people to fight.
It was effective to manage the affairs in the house.
But when the war broke out from the outside, Ayutthaya had a problem in gaining the power of the people to fight.
This is a picture of the politics of King Baromkote.
It was summarized by Prof. Chittrasingh Piyachat in the book.
The title is Krungsri Ayutthaya.
The next topic is the King Baromkote's army.
I have told you twice about King Baromkote's army.
Teacher Chittrasingh Piyachat explained in the book of Krungsri Ayutthaya that
at the beginning of King Baromkote's reign,
the king did not assign the position of the king of Bawon,
the holy place, or the king or the king.
Because it was seen that the power of the king at that time was quite limited.
And there were still some women who had a lot of power at that time,
which was Princess Borirak.
But then Princess Borirak got older,
so the momentum of power in Ayutthaya began to change.
King Baromkote's soldiers,
who were divided into factions,
increased the gap between them more and more.
Each faction was always looking for a way to get rid of the opposite faction.
If you watch the episode 46,
you will remember that there was a period
when King Baromkote
said that he would give the throne to King Naren,
the son of King Thaisa,
who was the favorite nephew of King Baromkote.
Even though King Naren
said openly that he did not want to be a candidate for the throne,
and even refused.
At that time,
there was a rumor that King Naren
would become a tycoon
and take over the throne.
This made King Naren
the target of King Baromkote's royal family immediately.
Especially King Fahkong,
the son of King Thaisa,
King Thammathibet,
Chaiyachet Suryawong, or Kromakun Senapithak.
King Fahkong even deceived King Naren
into following King Baromkote
and sending him to be hanged by the light.
Fortunately, King Fahkong survived.
After that, King Fahkong had to send out a message
to escape his crime.
Before the year of 2280 B.C.,
King Apainuchit, or King Chamanda,
sent a strong invitation
and asked King Baromkote
to punish King Fahkong,
who was a monk at that time.
King Baromkote promised
that if King Fahkong did not become a tycoon,
he would not kill him.
This is important.
Next, King Baromkote appointed
King Fahkong, or Kromakun Senapithak,
to ascend the throne of King Ratchawangbawon
or Wangna Phra Maha Uparat.
The momentum of politics in Ayutthaya changed again.
This time, King Fahkong,
who was Wangna,
became the successor of King Baromkote,
especially the opposite side,
which is King Samkrom.
Next, King Fahkong had a conflict
with King Klang
because of the fact that
King Klang wanted the monks to become monks.
According to the Buddha's Dhamma lecture,
this made King Baromkote
not good enough for King Klang.
Next, King Fahkong sent an invitation
to King Samkrom
with a disease called Kuttharat
which made King Baromkote
unable to attend for 3 years.
King Samkrom sent many letters
to King Samkrom,
such as this letter,
the letter to King Ratchatharekha,
and the letter to the British Museum.
The letters were almost the same
that King Samkrom could not attend
because of the invitation.
Next, King Samkrom
was the cause of King Fahkong's death.
During the invitation,
King Fahkong still had a conflict
with King Samkrom.
King Fahkong summoned Khun Nang,
the director of King Samkrom,
and told him that
King Samkrom's invitation
was too much.
It was too much
that King Samkrom
couldn't do it.
Then, he ordered Khun Nang
to hit his subordinates
and hit his boss.
Not only that,
King Fahkong also sent people
to look around
at the gate of Phra Tamnak Sa Kaew
which is the territory of
King Samkrom's army.
This was to show
that King Fahkong
was about to leave.
When King Fahkong
chased King Samkrom away,
King Samkrom
had to use his death
as an excuse
to tell King Samkrom
that King Fahkong had a conflict
with King Samkwan
who was a subordinate of King Samkron.
This was a big deal.
King Samkron's secretary,
Sri Ayutthaya,
told King Samkron
that King Samkron summoned
both King Fahkong and King Samkwan
to investigate
and found out that
they really had a conflict.
So, King Samkron ordered
King Fahkong
to be the last one to be killed.
This was a big deal
for King Ayutthaya.
For example,
King Samkron's secretary
and the British Museum
were all involved.
King Uthumporn
was the next target.
After King Fahkong
was killed,
the power struggle
between Sri Ayutthaya
and King Uthumporn
intensified
when the throne
of King Bawon
was taken away
from King Fahkong.
King Uthumporn
announced that
King Fahkong
would be the next target.
But King Uthumporn
refused immediately
because
there was still
King Chettha
and his secretary
at the meeting.
This made King Uthumporn
angry
and said
King Uthumporn
was the next target
for Sri Ayutthaya
to kill King Chettha.
King Uthumporn
said that
King Uthumporn
was the next target
