Do you want to experience the wonderful world of idioms?
Let's go into the world of idioms with Ms. Manman.
I'm Ms. Manman.
Nice to meet you again.
Today, I'm going to talk about the idiom related to the Three Emperors and the Five Emperors,
Jinwei Tianhai.
Jinwei Tianhai is an idiom
about the story of Emperor Yan's daughter.
The Northern Three Sutras in the Shanhai Sutra and the Beishan Sutra
record the geographical location of 46 mountains from Taihang Mountain to Wufeng Mountain
and the origin of the mountains.
Among them, there is Taihang Mountain, Wangwu Mountain, Yan Mountain,
and there is a mountain called Fajiu Mountain
200 miles north of the third mountain range,
Shenqun Mountain, in the north.
Zhang Shui originated from Fajiu Mountain and flowed into the Yellow River eastward.
There are many zhe trees on Fajiu Mountain.
There is a bird in the mountain.
Its name is Jinwei.
It looks like a crow.
It has patterns on its head.
Its mouth is white.
Its claws are red.
Its cry is like calling its own name.
However, Jinwei is not an ordinary bird,
but the incarnation of Emperor Yan's little daughter.
Emperor Yan has a little daughter named Nuwa.
Emperor Yan dotes on her the most.
One day, Nuwa thought of the rising sun in the East China Sea
and went to see it.
She took a small boat to the East China Sea by herself.
Suddenly, there was a storm in the sea.
The waves of the sea were like mountains
and swallowed Nuwa's little boat.
Nuwa was not lucky
and never returned to Emperor Yan's side.
After Nuwa drowned,
her primordial spirit left her body
and turned into a little bird.
There are patterns on its head.
Its mouth is white and its claws are red.
Its cry is like calling its own name.
Therefore, people call this bird
Jinwei.
This beautiful little bird
fell into the sea
and died
in order to stop people
from being threatened by the sea water.
Every day, it goes back and forth
between the Fajiu Mountain
and the sea
and throws the stones and branches
into the sea
and swears to fill the sea
year after year and never stops.
Later, a sea swallow
flew over the East China Sea
and was moved by the spirit of Jinwei
and married her
and gave birth to many little birds.
This bird is like Jinwei
and the bear bird is like the sea swallow.
The little Jinwei
ate and filled the sea with their mother
until today.
This is the origin of the idiom
Later, according to their own understanding,
there are many explanations
In the Zhenghe Yuan year of the Song Dynasty,
a stone monument was left
with such a record on it.
There is a Fajiu Mountain
about 40 miles west of
This mountain is
1610 meters high
and 20 kilometers south-north
from Hengshui, Jingyi,
Yueyang and other towns.
There is a spring in the mountain
and this is the origin of Zhangshui.
There is an ancient temple
called Lingquan Temple
which worships a goddess
and her mother and sister
as a three-person spiritual statue.
There are also maidservants
and people call the goddess
the Three Holy Princesses.
Legend has it that
this Three Holy Princess
is the little daughter of the Emperor Yan.
Whenever there is a drought,
people will go to the ancient temple
to pray to the goddess
without fail.
In the year of Zhenghe Yuan,
the year of Xi Yuan 1111,
there was no rain since spring.
The river birds all died
and it was impossible to sow seeds in autumn.
At one time, people were in a panic
so the ministers took the people
to the Lingquan Temple to pray.
Within two days,
the rain fell.
However, the rain only fell
in Changzi County.
Lingxiang was still raining.
This year, the people of the county
received a harvest.
The government then reported
such a miracle to the court.
The court sent people to investigate
and confirmed that it was true.
Therefore, Song Huizong named
Lingquan Temple
as Lingqiu Temple
to reward the goddess
for her contributions to the country.
In the full-moon book written by Zhu Zaiyu
in the year of Zhenghe Yuan,
it is also recorded that
there is spring water under the Fajiu Mountain
and it is the origin of Zhangshui.
There is an ancient temple on the spring water
and it is dedicated to the goddess
who is the daughter of Yangtou Mountain God
and also the goddess of Zhangshui.
There is a maid by the goddess
who guards Baijiu.
If Zhangshui rises,
Baijiu will warn the people
not to die from the flood.
Yangtou Mountain God
In ancient history,
scholars believe that
Emperor Yan is the title of the ancient emperor
which is equivalent to the title
of the emperor today.
It is said that Emperor Yan
was a man of great skill
because he knew how to use fire
to benefit the people
and became the princess of the world
and became Emperor Yan.
Emperor Yan also ate grass
and used herbs to cure the people.
He invented the knife and the fire
and created two kinds of agricultural tools
called Lei and Si
which taught the people
how to cultivate crops.
He also taught the people
how to make pottery
which is convenient for daily life.
However, the ancient Emperor Yan
was not only a godly man.
From the godly man,
there were nine generations of Emperor Yan.
The last Emperor Yan was called Yu Wang.
In the generation of Yu Wang,
Emperor Yan's tribe declined
and Emperor Xuanyuan's tribe
began to rise.
At that time,
the nobles punished each other
and abused the people.
Emperor Yan and Yu Wang
as the princess of the world
could not pacify this chaotic situation.
According to historical records,
the emperor helped Emperor Yan
to dispatch troops to suppress the rebels
and it was the nobles
who restored their tribute to Emperor Yan.
However, Emperor Yan
used this opportunity
to bully the nobles
and the nobles obeyed the emperor.
In order to maintain the position
Emperor Yan and Emperor Xuanyuan
fought a battle
and Emperor Xuanyuan won three battles
and became the princess of the world.
However, Emperor Yan was not enough
and there was one person
who was very unhappy
and tried to be the enemy of the emperor.
This person was Chiyou
and he fought with the emperor
in the middle of the road.
In the end, the battle was lost
and the emperor became the princess of the world.
So who is Chiyou?
Why did he stand up
and oppose the emperor?
What is his relationship with Emperor Yan and Yu Wang?
Many historians used to think
that Chiyou and Emperor Yan
were the leaders
of three tribes respectively.
After the battle between Emperor Yan and Emperor
Xuanyuan and Emperor Xuanyuan
Emperor Yan and Emperor Xuanyuan
became the princess of the world.
This is how the descendants of Emperor Yan came.
However, historians later
verified the geographical relationship
between Zhuolu and Banquan
and found that
these two places
are almost in the same geographical position.
There is a detailed record
In other words,
the battle between Banquan and Zhuolu
is actually a big battle.
In this way,
Emperor Yan is not Yu Wang
but Chiyou.
So how did Chiyou
become Emperor Yan?
Historians found
that Chiyou is the descendant
of Emperor Yan.
And the image of Chiyou
is the same as the totem of Emperor Yan.
It's all twisted.
The record says
Zhuolu is in Jizhou
Chiyou is said to have
the body of a human body
and has four arms and six legs
He fought with Emperor Xuanyuan
and no one could defeat him
According to the contemporary historian
Mr. Ding Shan
the battle between Emperor Yan and Chiyou
is actually the battle
between Zhuolu and Chiyou
In the 1920s,
Mr. Xia Zengyou
once pointed out in a history textbook
that Chiyou expelled
the last Emperor Yan, Yu Wang
and established himself as Emperor Yan
and fought with the emperor on the night of Zhuolu
Historian Mr. Lü Simian
also believed in the history of Xianqin
that the Western Han scholar Jia Yi
said more than once
that the battle between Yan and Huang
was on the night of Zhuolu
According to Wu Diwenji
Chiyou and Emperor Yan are one person
and the battle between Banquan and Zhuolu
is a battle
The three famous historians' testimonies
clearly explain the relationship
between Emperor Yan, Chiyou and the emperor
Chiyou is the descendant of Emperor Yan
In order to avenge Emperor Yan
he fought with the emperor on the night of Zhuolu
After the battle,
he was killed by Qin
Therefore, Emperor Yan, Shen Nong
and Chiyou are of the same clan
but not of the same time
Song Dynasty scholar Luo Mi
also believed in the history of Lu
that Shen Nong, Bashi, Emperor Yan, Yu Wang
live in Kongsang
Kongsang is Chenliu
Chenliu is the capital of Emperor Yan
Kongsang is in the northwest
and the south bank of the Yellow River
is the capital of Emperor Xuanyuanqiu
Chiyou invaded Kongsang
which is the capital of Yu Wang
and called himself Emperor Yan
Chiyou is the ancestor of Dongyi Jiuli tribe
Dongyi Jiuli tribe
is the Miao people today
According to Bai Hutong's records
Emperor Yan is the incarnation of the sun god
Shizu is the fire god Zhurong
Zhurong's incarnation is a bird
This bird
is not an ordinary bird
According to Huainanzi's records
this bird is called Cunwu
which is the three-legged bird
also called Jingwu
and the totem of Dongyi tribe
is this three-legged bird
Therefore, scholars often think
Emperor Yan in the Jingwei field
is not the ancient Shen Nong
but Chiyou
Because from the range
of Yu Wang's activities
Fajiu Mountain to Donghai
is the territory of Dongyi tribe
and the leader of Dongyi tribe
is Chiyou
also called Emperor Yan
Yu Wang died of drowning
and became Jingwei
Jingwei and Jingwu have similar pronunciation
and Jingwu is the totem of Dongyi tribe
So the father of Yu Wang
Emperor Yan
should be the leader of Dongyi tribe
However, no matter Shen Nong
or Chiyou
the father of Yu Wang is Emperor Yan
Jingwei
in order to prevent future generations
from drowning
is the best way to travel
Therefore, in Fajiu Mountain
the birthplace of Jingwei Tianhai
until today
every year on the 18th of March
there will be a temple fair
and the local people will go to worship
the goddess of Jingwei
This is the content of the idiom
Jingwei Tianhai
That's all for today
