The ritual is to hang a coffin on a stone wall and then use a stick to make it into a family item.
This is one of the most mysterious rituals in the world.
But have you ever heard of the Anguari ritual?
Anguari is a ritual in which the Anguari tribe eats human flesh,
use the skin as a cocoon to cover the face and body of the dead,
and sit on the dead body to be enlightened.
What's more mysterious is that they also pick up the bodies that have been cremated,
float on the river, go home to eat and worship them.
Dang Hieu would like to say hello to the audience of TCT.
Ladies and gentlemen, today we will explore the Anguari rituals.
Please follow along.
The Anguari ritual in Tibet, the family of the deceased must come to see in person.
Anguari, also known as Anguari ritual, is a form of cremation of the dead of Tibetans.
Instead of burying the dead in the ground,
the Tibetans take the bodies to the mountains to feed the hungry Anguari.
Recently, a social network user witnessed and recorded this scene,
making many people use themselves.
In the video is a scene of a funeral procession carrying a coffin on an empty land lying on the mountain.
After that is the scene of dozens of Anguari flying
and free to solve the problem in front of the eyes of many people around.
The video, after being published, has attracted more than 10 million views
with dozens of thousands of comments.
Most of them feel like they're going crazy,
when in the past this was the first time they witnessed the Anguari ritual
in the Tibetan style with the Tibetans.
Although the Tibetan form often gives a scary feeling to those who witness,
however, it is known that this is the most popular form of cremation in Tibet,
as a way for people to offer their last body to heaven,
creating conditions for the soul to fly and be reborn.
Before the Anguari ritual took place,
the bodies of people were buried in the house for 3 to 5 days.
After that, relatives will take the bodies to the cremation area,
located on the mountain far from the residential area.
All members of the family are witnessed this ritual.
According to the view of the Buddhist Kim Khuong Thua in Tibet,
the family of the cremated person was encouraged to witness the ritual
to face death and feel the uncertainty of life.
The self-immolation ritual was performed by Buddhist monks
in northern Japan in the middle of the 11th and 19th centuries.
The process of self-immolation went through many strenuous and painful steps.
In the first 1000 days, they had a special diet,
including nuts and fruits,
performing many physical activities to push the fat out of the body.
In the final stage, the monks only ate bark and fruit,
and began to drink poison tea made from the Uric tree,
which is an open-mouthed tree and quickly lost the body fluids.
The poison acts as a preservative,
and the body fluids can destroy the body.
After about 6 years, the monks self-immolated in a stone tomb,
just a little bigger than the body,
and went deep into meditation,
in the position of sitting in lotus meditation until death.
The followers of the Zoroastrianism,
for the construction of the Silent Tower,
or also called the Dagma in Yak,
to dry the dead bodies,
a shaking celestial form.
The followers of the Zoroastrianism,
will bring the bodies of the dead to the Silent Tower.
The sunlight will make the self-immolation faster.
In addition, the birds that specialize in eating dead bodies,
such as geckos, hawks, crows,
will fly to and from the meat plate.
Next, the monks will pick up the white bones
left on the top of the Silent Tower,
and bury them in a pit,
leaving 2 bones in the center of the Dagma.
These bones will continue to be soaked in acids,
such as lemon water,
to quickly disintegrate into small pieces.
Usually, the entire process of processing the bodies of the deceased,
as above, takes about 1 year.
The reason why the followers of the Zoroastrianism,
bury the dead like that,
because they believe that the body of the dead
is one of the impure things.
The soul of a dead person,
when it has just fallen out of the body,
will have the dead immediately enter
and pollute everything around with impurities.
Therefore, in order to prevent the infection of the dead,
the dead of the deceased
must be placed on the highest floor of the Silent Tower,
in direct contact with the sunlight
and other meat-eating birds.
Through this way,
the process of purification and impurities of the dead will be purified.
The followers of the Zoroastrianism,
do not bury the dead,
because they believe that this will cause
the soul of the deceased to be polluted.
Herodotus has recorded that the followers of the Zoroastrianism,
practiced this method of burial
for the first time
in the early 9th century.
The Akkori tribe
and the meat-eating tribe
use the skull as a skeleton.
This Akkori tribe
often buries the body,
using the skull as a skeleton,
cutting off the head,
The members of the Akkori tribe
in Vanranasi, Myanmar,
live in cremated areas,
where it is believed that there is the presence
of the god Shiva and the goddess Kalima,
and meat-eating people
is their ritual.
This tribe also uses the skull as a skeleton,
cutting off the head,
living animals and people
on the dead body to be purified.
Not only that,
the Akkori people also bury the body
from the cremated bodies.
Akkori is a mysterious
ancient tribe in India.
The members of the Akkori tribe
wear white clothes
on their faces
and wear many beads around their necks.
Surrounding them is a mysterious
curtain.
The Indians are afraid of them
and believe that they can predict the future,
go to the water,
as well as perform unique spells.
The Akkori tribe's horses
use horseshoes,
wine, and arrows
to reach the state of enlightenment
and get close to the god Shiva of the Hindu religion.
The Akkori also believe
that by doing
what others consider forbidden,
they will achieve enlightenment.
In India,
the dead are often cremated
and then brought down
to the river.
However, there are bodies that are released
without cremation.
The Akkori people collect those bodies
in spiritual ceremonies.
They eat meat
and build shrines from these bodies.
This tradition is even more
confirmed by the habit of living
in cemeteries and crematoriums
where the air is dense.
The Akkori people
keep away from material assets
and often burn themselves.
This is a way to avoid
rituals
and show the human body
in its purest form.
The Akkori people believe
that the power comes from the dead.
They consider themselves
the lowest class in society.
Therefore, they often wear rags
and have curly hair.
They also believe that cremation
is a quiet way
to get out of the ritual
and purify the soul.
Although it seems scary,
the Akkori people are very kind.
They should run for people
who are sick
The Akkori people
have been around
since the 17th century
with their founder
Baba Kinaram.
Kinaram is a Buddhist
and is believed to be
170 years old.
Everyone in India
can join the Akkori religion
but it takes up to 12 years
to learn the religion.
Ceremonies to bury children
in cemeteries
are held in Tanah Toraja,
in the mountainous region
of southern Sulawesi,
186 km north of the capital
Makassar, Indonesia.
It is where the ceremony
to bury children in cemeteries
is held.
Children are buried
in cemeteries in a forest.
The villagers will be made into holes
in the cemeteries
and then cover the bodies
of the dead children
Local people perform
this unique ceremony
because they believe that
if the bodies are buried in the cemeteries
for many years,
they will be protected by the gods
and the mother nature.
After being buried,
the people will use a rope
to make a door
outside the cemetery.
Usually, tens of thousands of children
are buried in each cemetery.
In particular, only children
are buried in the cemeteries.
Burying a coffin on a cliff
In some rural areas
of the Philippines and China,
there used to be an ancient
form of burial,
that is to hang a coffin on a cliff.
People believe that the cliff
or the cave above
is a quiet place suitable
for the soul to rest.
From above, the dead can watch
the blue sky, the river,
the difference with the bustle of the people.
People also believe that
the cemeteries in remote areas
will not be destroyed by anyone,
will not be flooded,
will not be polluted,
the bodies of the dead will be preserved forever.
Also, according to their opinion,
the higher the position,
the more reverence is shown.
In the past, they made a cliff
along the steep cliff
to hang the old cemeteries
hanging in the air.
These cliffs were closed by the people
and buried in the cliffs
about 20 to 100 meters away from the ground.
The ancient cemeteries
have many shapes,
such as a wooden boat, a box-shaped one,
a square-shaped one,
hollowed out from a solid tree trunk.
Today, the ancient cemeteries
are found in many places
in the provinces of Tu Xuyen,
Quang Tay, Ho Nam, Phuc Kien and Quy Chau.
Among them, the most famous
are the cemeteries
on the cliff of the Miu people
on the cliff of Tu Xuyen province.
