Yes, I don't regret at all to have gone for it.
At the end, at the start, if there's a gap, I will go for it all the time, especially if it's for a win.
I went for it, then there was not anymore that much of a gap,
so I backed off and that helped Luis to go around the outside for me.
I tried to fight him back on my way to Turn 3, but it wasn't enough.
But anyway, we didn't have quite the pace of both, Max and Luis.
We need to look into it to try and improve that tomorrow.
If I look at the year, we've been a bit inconsistent in our tyre degradation.
Today was one of those races where we struggled more.
I hope we can learn from today and improve for tomorrow, even though we cannot change anything.
Improving is going to be limited.
What have you made of the Mercedes pace around here this weekend so far?
That's your biggest battle, is it?
Yes, they are again extremely strong this weekend.
In qualifying, we always seem to be there, but then in the race, as I said, we are a bit more inconsistent.
This weekend, again, they are a bit stronger than us, so we need to look into it for medium-long term especially,
because in the short term, we know that in terms of setup, there's not much we can do.
But in terms of car development, we need to understand what they are doing.
Is there any benefit for you seeing that Carlos made those soft slals for 19 laps and actually was only P6 in the end,
even though the optimum obviously was the medium, but they weren't as bad as maybe expected?
Yes, I mean, at the start, I think it worked out for him.
Then after that, after a few laps, already we could see that he started to lose quite a lot of lap time.
But I think it's very useful for the team to have had the two cars in different strategies
to understand more about the tyres ahead of tomorrow's race.
