Okay, hello dear friends. Good morning. Such a beautiful, beautiful morning.
This actually makes me happy. Okay, so now I am not using microphone
so that I just use this cell phone. Usually cell phone takes all the sound of surrounding
and I intentionally, out of laziness and also out of a little bit of intention
to create this kind of soundscape. I hope you can hear the emptiness of this space,
the largeness of this place and the void of this place and this is exactly the feeling right now
I am feeling. So I will combine some pictures of this place with this voice over
and suddenly I just, I am traveling to San Francisco. I can go to
Ferry Street, Ferry Building. I can go to different places. There are many
places to see but I just suddenly feel, why? Why do I go to see them? Why do I need inspiration?
Why do I always look for something new, something different, something entertaining?
What is the point? Live a life that feel this moment enriched, fulfilled. That is important
and I just suddenly feel that void inside me. I saw some celebrities sharing their family life,
sharing their private life. I do not like this but I kind of understand
that urge of expressing and let me try to make this video more or less more
abstract without going to details. So I think the camera is on the bottom, this part.
So I feel that it is actually good to make this video. One thing is that there is possibility
that it can echo with momentarily some of your feeling in life.
It is loneliness but it is not loneliness. It is emptiness but it is not emptiness.
It is between this. Actually a lot of time we say loneliness. Maybe it is not true.
When we think deep, when we take the time to reflect on it, we may be able to find something
interesting, something that is not exactly. It is some feeling we cannot catch it.
We cannot just grasp it and describe it precisely. It is a kind of loneliness what I am doing here
but actually it might be just one of these moments in life. We need a break. We need a pause.
We need a stoppage. We need a break from too much thinking, from too much thoughts,
from too much activities. If we only do things, do not think, it is equally bad as only think.
We do need the luxury of quietness, of nothingness. I am sorry for the background
sound. This is a huge empty building. Any teeny tiny little sound just echoes and reflects and
amplifies. Do you have those feelings? You are in the middle of something
and suddenly everything feels stopped or your brain just feels why you start to question
your action. I just cannot figure out. I want to share with you this feeling,
this momentum feeling. I hope you do get some echo so at least I know I am not the only one.
So here I am looking at the line drawings in front of me and then I start to think,
oh there is something odd out of the pattern. It has a certain pattern and
that pattern just does not echo in. Some more talking, the whole building is empty.
So I do not know that that observation of this line drawing where it can lead me
and what is the point of seeing a piece of a piece of drawing. Maybe it's even machine drawing,
maybe it's a very calculated plan and it has nothing to do with our life
and we spend time on it just to occupy our mind. I am a little bit silly just to keep on
nagging these useless things.
Yeah, I do not. I still cannot get catch it. I want to make alive but I'm thinking
maybe I do need this quiet time, not alive, not connected to the world, not connected
to other people. Maybe I just need this piece of isolation. I need some loneliness
to nourish my soul, to calm down my mind, to
cleansing out something or just not thinking. Okay, now to keep on with my visits.
Bye-bye friends. I love you. I really do.
