Alexander McQueen|2024 SS |Hierachical Aesthetics 層次美學

In the Alexander McQueen 2024 spring/summer collection, the sculptural textile designs create an artistic and three-dimensional hierarchical aesthetics, paired with asymmetric, avant-garde details. Meanwhile, the traditional leather armor elements also take on a whole new vitality, presenting richer layers. The designer draws inspiration from classic suits, utilizing techniques like tailoring, splicing, and hollowing out to create works that form ingenious echoes with the urban environment. This show is both creative director Sarah Burton’s sincere tribute to Alexander McQueen, and the perfect full stop in her 26-year design career at Alexander McQueen.
