Welcome to FBNC's July 19 Today's world news
In 1999, former leader Zhang Zhejiang launched the crackdown on the People's Republic of China.
He used the country's huge resources, including a massive propaganda machine,
which is expected to wipe out the People's Republic of China in three months.
July 2018 marks the 19th anniversary of the crackdown on the People's Republic of China in mainland China.
Although the Chinese government continues to crack down on language and religion,
to this day, many foreigners are still wondering about the crackdown on the People's Republic of China.
Because in many free countries, the activities of the People's Republic of China still occur very often.
People of the People's Republic of China also coexist in society and can meet in any field or location.
Therefore, people always wonder why only in China there was a large-scale crackdown,
which has been active for 19 years and still continues to this day.
What is the Chinese government afraid of?
First, let's take a look at the crackdown on the People's Republic of China.
The situation before July 20, 1999.
The People's Republic of China was transferred to society by Li Hongzhi in May 1992,
in accordance with the last 80 years of the previous century in China.
After the crackdown appeared for a short time,
the Beijing government not only accepted its rapid development,
but also invited Mr. Li to lecture at government institutions
and praise the benefits of morality and health that it has brought to the community.
On September 21, 1993, the People's Public Security Journal, a product of the Ministry of Public Security,
published a story praising Mr. Li for his contributions to strengthening the traditional morality of the Chinese people
against crime, in safeguarding social security and order,
and in strengthening political integrity in society.
By the end of 1994, Mr. Li followed the China Aerospace Development Program
to teach 54 French-language science courses.
The last courses were very crowded.
Each course was about 3.5 thousand to 4.5 thousand students.
After that, Mr. Li edited his lecture into a French-language book,
published the content of the lecture on video,
and donated it to the community to show his contribution to the community.
French-language learners from then on could learn French-language for free.
At the same time, French-language also became a popular practice of all the public.
To this day, all the French-language teaching materials are available for free on the Internet,
and the learners are also in the form of a crowd,
which they can learn if they find it suitable, and leave if they don't like it.
Everything is completely free and voluntary, there is no membership registration or organization.
French-language is developing very fast.
According to statistics from the official investigation of the Chinese state in 1998,
the number of French-language learners is about 70 to 100 million people.
The first French-language textbook published in 1995
was recorded as the best-selling book in Beijing in 1996.
In the mid-1999s, the state media often had articles attacking the public.
Among them, there was also French-language, which was called anti-fascism.
French-language practitioners began to go to libraries to make wishes,
suggesting that the articles were not true.
When a TV station in Beijing broadcasted a talk show,
in which guests attacked French-language,
these practitioners tried to clarify the issue.
The producer of the talk show was fired,
and a few days later, the TV station broadcast a positive film about French-language.
On April 25, 1999,
the 10,000 French-language practitioners' petition took place in central Nanhai, Beijing.
What caught people's attention was that in the images,
the French-language practitioners were very orderly when they came to central Nanhai,
and there was no sign of any language being brought along.
China's current prime minister is Zhu Junge,
who stepped out of the central Nanhai gate,
stood in front of all the petitioners,
and asked them to send representatives to talk.
This shows that the Chinese government is now completely at ease about this petition.
Zhu Junge then quickly agreed to ask the Tianjin police
to release the French-language practitioners.
The world media called this an event of voluntary provocation in central Nanhai,
and praised the way the Chinese government handled it in general,
and praised Zhu Junge in particular,
saying that this was a major step towards the human rights of this country.
But Zhang Zhejiang's reaction,
who is now the secretary-general of the Chinese Communist Party,
is completely different.
In a letter on April 25,
Zhang sent a message to members of the Politburo.
I don't know, I don't care.
More than 10,000 people have gathered right in front of the party's power center
and the state for a whole day.
But our relevant ministries
have not found any information before it happened.
Also in that letter, Zhang did not hide his jealousy.
The Marxist ideology that the Communists have,
the monotheistic ideology that we believe
can't win over the things of the Falun Gong or what.
If that's true, it's going to be a big joke, isn't it?
In the years of power,
Zhang Zhejiang always wanted people to pass on his lessons.
The three-representative speech was put directly into the party convention,
forcing all party members to study,
but in fact, it was not at all what he wanted.
In addition to that, in China,
the people volunteered to welcome Li Chen, the benefactor of Falun Gong.
Every day, nearly 100 million Chinese people
practice Falun Gong with each other
and read the books of Mr. Li Hongzhi.
More than the number of party members now, about 60 million.
During a meeting to discuss the issue of Falun Gong,
Mr. Zhang Zhejiang firmly suppressed Falun Gong,
giving way to six members of the Politburo to express their opposition.
The crackdown on July 20, 1999 took place
despite the fact that there was no majority vote from the Politburo members.
The event on April 25,
during the crackdown propaganda campaign,
was forced by Chinese media outlets
to form the China-South China Sea Corridor
of the Political-Violent-Extremist Organization,
to make room for the crackdown on Falun Gong.
On July 20, 1999,
security forces spread throughout China
to arrest tens of thousands of people practicing Falun Gong.
According to a Hong Kong newspaper,
the number of people arrested was up to 50,000 people in a week.
Continuously for a long time after that,
media outlets continuously propagated that
Falun Gong propagandizes superstition,
defamation, deception,
incitement and harm to social stability.
A propaganda campaign was also set up
to make Falun Gong cool.
More than 2,000 newspapers,
more than 1,000 magazines
and hundreds of radio stations and local TV stations
quickly became overloaded
because of the propaganda campaign against Falun Gong.
This campaign also escalated
when the media broadcasted the propaganda drama
showing five Falun Gong practitioners
performing on Tiananmen Square
on January 23, 2001.
Chinese media and state television
continuously broadcast and comment on this event.
However, the authorities did not allow
any Western journalists
to get close to the witnesses.
After investigation efforts,
many Western media outlets concluded
that this was an event
set up by the Chinese government.
However, so far,
taking advantage of the media censorship,
the Chinese government continues
to propagate this drama.
It even appeared in the Chinese textbook.
Since then,
the Chinese people's sympathy
for Falun Gong has disappeared.
From 2004 to 2006,
the Communist Party of China
began to reduce the frequency of news
about the suppression of Falun Gong,
showing a sense
that the Communist Party of China
has successfully stabilized the situation.
However, the policy of suppression
in practice has not changed.
Since the suppression began,
hundreds of thousands of Falun Gong practitioners
have been arrested and suppressed.
According to human rights organizations,
Falun Gong practitioners
were imprisoned for construction work,
tortured, secretly killed
and even mined organs.
In addition to the rapid development
of the number of practitioners,
the first confession of Falun Gong
is considered the biggest challenge
the Communist Party of China
has been able to withstand
in 50 years.
Since then, this group has become
a thorn in the eye of the government
What is the final result?
Temporary camps
or forced labor camps
have failed to reform Falun Gong practitioners.
The police, the prison
and the 610 prison
have failed
to force Falun Gong practitioners
to give up their faith.
Despite the false propaganda
and the brutal suppression,
there are still people secretly
continuing to practice in China.
While the Chinese government
has been suppressing Falun Gong practitioners
and spreading the news,
the harm continues to be spread
all over the world.
Freegate, an online blockade
that was developed by Falun Gong practitioners
with partial funding from the US government,
has made it easier for people
in mainland China
to access authentic information.
Even at the end of 2009,
the Spanish and Argentine courts
sued Zhang Zhizhen
and other former Chinese officials
for genocide and crimes
against humanity.
Falun Gong has been banned in China
since 1999,
but it is still openly active
and developing in Hong Kong.
Falun Gong practitioners are now
prominent in Taiwan,
where people are fighting against
reunification with mainland China.
In addition, in many countries around the world,
such as the US, Canada, Germany,
Australia, Britain, France, Spain,
and India, there is Falun Gong.
If the South China Sea petition
with 10,000 people in China
used to be twisted into a government cover,
to this day, large-scale petitions
of that scale
appear in the US every year.
Clearly, the Communist Party of China
has failed.
In addition, the fear of the Communist Party
of China has become a reality.
The Communist Party of China
has lost its people.
As the Chinese people
become more and more aware
of the dangers of Falun Gong,
the image of the Communist Party of China
is also gradually collapsing.
In 2005, after fleeing to Australia,
Mr. Chen Zhonglim,
a former Chinese foreign officer
and Mr. Hak Fung-kun,
a former Tianjin 610 guard
and Tianjin National Security Bureau
were directly involved
in the crimes of the Communist Party of China
in the persecution of Falun Gong
and their boredom
when working inside the party.
