(Bundesliga 2023/2024): Highlights Union Berlin - VfB Stuttgart

Stuttgart and 13-goal man Sergu Ghirassi seeking to make it six Bundesliga wins on the bounce, away to Union who've lost seven in a row in all competitions. Here's Anthony Rouault laying it right back for Stuttgart and look at the space afforded Ghirassi. You can't do that and expect that he won't score. It's number 14 for Ghirassi in this campaign and it was simplicity itself. Just about everything going right for Stuttgart so far this season. It's Ghirassi and he's hobbling a bit following the challenge by Danilo Duki. That's what transpired, Toussaint involved at the tail end of that as well but down goes Ghirassi and it looks as though he's going to have to go off. On comes Denis Undov in his place, well he's played his part already. Ghirassi one nil at half time. Sami Khedira here to watch his old club Stuttgart and brother Rani making his first appearance of the season for Union. Here's Enzo Mio for Stuttgart, Denis Undov in the middle but it's away by Frederik Reneau. Jenny Levering, current slot at home. Reneau makes the save but Stuttgart knocking on the door at the start of this second half. Interesting to see what impact the substitutes have for Stuttgart. Silas on the pitch now and he has blustering pace but now showing composure to make it two nil. Silas with nine minutes to go and it gives Stuttgart the insurance they were looking for. That's lovely. Now Chong, another of the players to have come on and Denis Undov three nil gave the first ever Bundesliga win against Union. Stuttgart demonstrating that with or without Ghirassi they have the magic touch.
