(Bundesliga 2023/2024): Highlights SC Freiburg - VfL Bochum

Freeman saved two penalties in Leipzig last time out but Borkum still haven't won a game yet this season. It's always been difficult for Borkum here in Freiburg. Good from Asano, Paciencia! What a strike! The first goal since joining on loan from Wolfsburg, inside 15 minutes. Borkum take the lead 1-0. Freiburg doing more for the game now. 26 minutes played, good ball in, that's Dohan! His first of the campaign! And a fabulous ball in from Vincenzo Grifo, right onto the head of the Japanese. Freiburg again, playing good football. Dohan, chance for the shot, handball! Penalty, says the referee, Bernardo. Got the touch here after the shot from Philipp. He's only ever missed twice. Grifo, one of those against Riemann! But he's not going to miss that one! That penalty and Freiburg lead 2-1. Well, despite a decent performance, Borkum trail 2-1 at half-time. Weisshaupt, good ball, cleared by Bernardo! Great chance for Eggerstein, but blast the effort over the bar. 57 minutes have been played. Could it be? No! Because Atabolu, the goalkeeper, denies Advi Adjei. Great goalkeeping, that. Two minutes to go! Well, the set-piece kings could have made it three there. Manuel Golder from the corner from Grifo. Freiburg grab all three points, despite tough opposition. But Borkum are still waiting for that elusive first victory. 2-1, the win against Borkum for Freiburg.
