Welcome into the video. I am your tech guide Wayne. Today I want to show you how to take
a screenshot on the Google Pixel 8 and 8 Pro. Now there's two ways to do this that are super
easy. I'm going to show you both. The first method is going to be simply holding down
on the power and the volume down button for one second. You're simply going to hold and
let it go just like this. There you go. Now tap on the screenshot in the left corner and
here it will allow you to edit your screenshot. Now if you drag from the corners you can actually
shrink the area of the screenshot. You can come down and select one of the tools here
whether you want to mark up the picture with a marker or you want to add the text button
to have some words on the picture. You can use these to edit your photo and when you're
done you can simply share it out to someone, trash it or you can hit save and it will save
to your photo gallery. Now that's the first way. The second way to take a screenshot
is super easy. It's even easier. You don't have to hold anything on the phone. You simply
are going to hit the button in the bottom right corner, a recent apps button and you're
going to tap the screenshot button right here and that will screenshot whatever app it is
showing. Now check this out. So I'm going to hit this button again. Now maybe I have
a different app that's been opened. For example, maybe I have, you know, I want to screenshot
this widget because I want to share it with someone. I just want to make sure that's showing
on the page here and then hit screenshot and then it will take a picture of it. Now I have
my gesture buttons turned on right now, or excuse me, I have them turned off, but if
you have the gesture commands you're probably saying, hey, I don't have those buttons at
the bottom of my Pixel 8, no problem. You'll simply need to swipe up and hold first. That's
how you get to the recent apps menu and then you'll be able to take a screenshot as you
move over to the correct section that you want to screenshot. Okay. Now, quick bonus,
I want to show you how to get these Android buttons. If you don't like the gesture mode
and you want to turn that off, it's super easy to do it. You simply need to swipe down
from the top of the screen, swipe down again, and tap on the settings wheel in the bottom
right corner. From here, we're going to swipe all the way up, go to system. From there,
we're going to tap on navigation mode and we're going to make sure we switch to three
button navigation. Now by default, the Pixel comes in the gesture navigation mode. I always
like to switch to three button because to me it's easier to use the phone with the traditional
Android buttons just like that. Now, before I go, I want to show off this really cool
case I've been using from Spigen. This is a really awesome case. It is a gel. It fits
the phone really well. This is their 01 edition, which basically gives you the look of what's
under the hood of the phone. Just a really fun look that's different. If you want to
check this case out, I'll have a link below in the description of where you can get one.
Thanks again for watching, guys. Take care and as always, have a good one.
