Apple iPhone 15 Pro FineWoven Case Review! Worth It?

hey everyone how's it going D here today we're taking a look at the iPhone 15 fine woven cases which are supposed to replace their leather cases now these retail for $59 plus tax so you know 63 64 bucks or so definitely on the expensive side for cases but of course Apple's not really known for affordability but uh Apple's leather was never actually very good it was very cheap leather and so I'm not sure why people are all upset suddenly that Apple got rid of the leather cases because while I like the colors they had the leather was actually garbage you can actually Source leather sustainably too so if Apple really cared they could have instead given us a high quality highly sustainable Leather So I personally wouldn't buy this because of any um initiative to save the world or anything just if you like it but yes no point in getting into that back and forth these are the cases again like a blue like a brown eggplant black and green do they stand out in any way not really um you know at least like the silicone case have this cool color and clear is just like a standard case but here just First Impressions they feel very light and very cheap actually it feels almost like it's trying to be like an alcantar material but it's quite not let's just go ahead and put this Blue on Blue to see it on here let's see how the buttons feel and stuff lock switch nice and clicky it does look like it is metal buttons which is nice I love when the buttons stay clicky and they're easy to feel out and that is definitely true here the lip here on the front isn't very big um so when you lay your phone on the table it is going to have some protection but like here we do have a screen protector and it's like right on there so not a very big lip if you're interested in that it does seem to have a two-tone design so if you grab here all the colors it looks like everything around the camera ring is the same color as the button so I do like that nice attention to detail very similar to the silicone cases actually so if we take a look here at this gray silicone case case you will see that this button here is darker than the actual case and so is the Apple logo in the camera ring and the buttons on the other side I do like that gives it some contrast there a little bit the case though itself I don't think it looks particularly high-end in any way even the rubber here on the sides feels like it's going to just flake away in no time it's not a high quality rubber if I rub like this I feel like it's just going to start coming away actually that color yeah you can just feel it it's very cheap actually all around I do like the slight fade here with the Apple logo that looks kind of nice but overall let's go ahead here and do maybe green green is one of my favorite colors does that work here on the natural titanium it does it looks fine I think there's just something about these cases they look very dull and I don't know let me see something real quick how about pet hairs like I have three pets and um I'll just rub this real quick on somewhere I know there's hairs all right so I just rubbed it all over my dog here just just so you can see and um let's see how it cleans off here let me take a finger to it I don't want to throw it all on the phones here actually pretty well you can just use your the friction from your finger to kind of clean it off like that and it comes off pretty good you know as long as it cleans off easily it's not too bad it is going to attract it though it's not going to be uh washable either like silicone you can just take water to this I don't think you can take water to this and it's going to last very long I'm not sure and I'm not going to test it out I don't really care this is not something buy ever actually let's do black here and natural titanium just to see it as well mhm They Don't Really complement the phones either yeah it's such a scratchy material it's like uh it's a material that I don't think you would want to actually like touch or have in your hand it feels very like it makes me uneasy if that makes sense all right so real quick I wanted to interrupt this video and show you guys what a knockoff case looks like right here it clearly doesn't doesn't have the Apple logo right there I actually thought it was going to when I bought it and the link down below is in the description for the Amazon listing that I got this one from the buttons are just as clicky as apples and the overall feeling is honestly very similar the actual materials that they use are of course slightly different this is more kind of like a microfiber which I actually prefer the way this feels and overall you are going to notice some kind of texture differences here as well and just finishing is a little bit worse than Apples but you know at almost a fifth of price it kind of just makes no sense to buy apples and it goes to show how cheap apples actually is because unlike Apple silicone cases where they do have a very special rubber feeling to them especially compared to the knockoffs they might be a little bit better in colors as well this is actually so close that it's frustrating that Apple didn't make something just a little bit better to really justify the price and after using this case for a week and dropping it around and everything I'm s satisfied just kind of having this knockoff around just for fun but definitely I'm glad that I didn't spend the 60 bucks on Apple's cases just to me it's not worth it however if you like it definitely you know go for it and let us know how you like that now I'll continue with the normal video yeah I guess time will tell I'm not really interested in keeping one of these to test out they the colors are also very boring this kind of eggplant color I could see someone liking that looks very bookish very kind of Harvard but and the brown color here actually think the brown color looks kind of cool with the natural titanium that looks kind of neat and I guess this is the closest color to technically the normal leather color I don't know how this is going to age yeah oh that's not coming off is it not oh that's not com I just scratched it a little bit with my nail right there it's not coming off I guess this is just one of those cases that you might just want to scratch up on purpose and Destroy just to see uh or fade it out see if that looks better than it does new because yeah yikes also quite hard to remove and to put on these are Max model so they're not going to quite fit but you can see they're black on black green on black the brown on the black and the kind of egg planty red here on the black this feels very cheap I like the color combos and I I like the the uh contrast here but the actual color themselves they feel a little dull especially when you look at these uh really nice colors that they have for the silicone cases right the silicone case looks like it feels like twice as expensive as this thing right here so I don't really know this is kind of more flat so it is going to slide in and out of the pocket easier than a silicone case but that's just about it there you go I don't really know if you like it obviously you can see it there then I'll power it to you and let us know how it holds up they're not particularly great with any of the phones here especially with my natural titanium I don't think anything really contrasts it very nicely like worth spending 60 bucks so I don't know let me know what you guys think maybe I'm off on this but thanks for watching this video and I'll catch you in the next one
