GUNNERS HAMMERED! | West Ham United v Arsenal Carabao Cup extended highlights

Someone's bubble will burst tonight. Arsenal, of course, start as favourites. West Ham have lost their last three in all competitions, although David Moyes isn't too bothered by their form. He says they're playing well, but let's see just how they go about tonight. Good position this was. Simple ball around the corner from Kudus. And Zinchenko commits the foul, the Mexican. Five Arsenal players in a line, now they split. Delivered by Nelson! That's a really smart touch on by Hagan. An equally smart save from Fabianski. Nicely done on both sides. North London rivals at the moment. But behind here in the League Cup. It's unsure. The player who's closest to them as they look for that little touch on. More subtle touch here. Dancing round from Eddie Nketiah, and it might well be 1-1. No changes for either side. There will, though, be changes, you can be sure of it, from Arteta sooner rather than later. Here comes Taketa. Now Bolling! Ramsdale got just enough onto it, just enough. And White clears it away. Forceful start to the second half from the Hammers, and so nearly a second goal. Goes down as a good save in the end from Ramsdale. Slightly worried look on his face, I doubt it will be long before Declan Rice comes on to inevitably a mixed reaction. But I'd say, judging from what happened in the first half, still a positive one. Slipping it through, earning a consolation goal. United 3-1.
