Hi guys and welcome back to my channel.
If you are new, welcome.
My name is Hannah and on this channel we talk all things home decor,
home aesthetics, mixing high and low with new and old.
And in today's video, it is part one of my Christmas decorate with me.
So if this is something you are interested in watching, just keep on watching.
Welcome to part one of my Christmas decorate with me for the year 2023.
In today's video, we're going to be touching on a few surfaces
including the sideboard behind me,
the console table that backs my sofa in my living room, as well as my entryway table.
Now I'm breaking up my decorate with me's in parts
that way you guys can really get engulfed in the decorating spirit
and really focus in on what it is that I did for this year's decor.
Now I definitely took a different approach this year.
I had a vision in mind and I honestly am very pleased with how it came together.
I really wasn't quite sure if it was going to come full circle
and this might not be for everybody.
I really did take a different approach than most people probably will be doing this year.
And so I hope you guys enjoy.
Hopefully you guys will get some inspiration or take bits and pieces
even if it isn't your style or the color scheme that you went with.
But I hope you guys enjoy part one.
Without further ado, let's get into today's video.
We are starting with my front entryway first,
bringing in this really beautiful oversized botanical artwork that I got from McGee and Co.
Next, I'm pairing it with my vintage vessel that I got from a local boutique here in San Diego.
And if you have a deep vase like this one,
I always suggest bringing in some towels or newspaper to kind of help raise your stems.
So I'm now bringing in the stem that I also got from a boutique here in San Diego
and I love that it's bringing in that just pine,
that just traditional feeling of the holiday season.
And I love that this one just has a little bit of flex of what looks like snow on it.
Now for that untraditional aspect,
I am bringing in a florals semi-sefuga stem to this to bring in that plum color.
Next, we are bringing in two different coffee table books with my vintage cowbells.
I got these last year and I absolutely love bringing these around for the holiday season
because they just add that Christmas feeling.
Now, if you haven't gotten these ribbon from Hobby Lobby,
these can be found in the fabric department
and I think this is just the perfect touch for that holiday spirit,
just adding this to the tops of each bell.
To the right of those bells,
we are bringing in this black iron trio set that I purchased from Amazon.
And pairing that with a white twisted candlestick that I got from Hobby Lobby.
Next to that vintage vessel,
I am bringing in a low profile terracotta dish
and bringing those amber interior checker print ornaments within it.
Now, I just love bringing this pattern.
I think it is going to be so much fun to have throughout my home
and you guys will definitely see that come full circle.
If you're going to be doing something like this for your decor,
I definitely suggest grabbing a couple sprigs off of maybe your garland to add to the bowl
just so that way it feels a little bit more polished and complete.
And this is my front entryway space.
Moving on to the sideboard,
which is the backdrop that you guys see within my videos.
I'm bringing two six foot real touch garland to the back side of this sideboard
and I love these because they are a very natural,
very realistic looking garland.
Next, I'm pairing my home goods lamp that I purchased a couple months back
and to the right of that, I brought in this really beautiful simple artwork.
Now, the print itself is from Etsy and then I found the frame at Home Goods.
In front of that, we are bringing two coffee table books
as well as the fluted decorative box that I got from McGee and Co.
Now, to add that holiday touch, we are bringing in that ribbon.
Now, this ribbon is such a simple thing to add to your holiday decor
to definitely make things feel a little bit more Christmassy.
To the right of this sideboard,
I'm bringing my Restoration Hardware rice vessel
and I'm pairing these stems that I got from Home Goods as well,
bringing in kind of a different element,
a more organic feel and breaking up a lot of the greenery.
To the left of that, these are Christmas trees I purchased from Target,
I believe three or four years ago,
bringing in that brass element and playing with height as well.
We also have that candle from Home Goods
and to make this all come together,
I'm pairing these juniper picks within the back of the garland,
just bringing in a little bit of extra added visual interest and texture
and breaking up the greenery
so it just feels a little bit more curated in my opinion
and this is the final look for my sideboard space.
Moving on to the console table that backs my sofa and living room space,
I have this really fun decorative base that I got from Cathy Kuo
and within it, I'm pairing some Hobby Lobby stems.
I believe these are still available
and I really do think these are a great stem
if you are needing that just traditional greenery,
it's a very beautiful muted green with a little bit of pine cone accents.
Next, we are bringing two coffee table books to the left of that
with some black iron little deer that I purchased about two years ago,
just kind of coming through my old Christmas decor
and utilizing things I already own.
Next, I have those brass candle holders that I got from Hobby Lobby this year
and to the right of that,
I'm adding this stunning marble oversized bowl that I got from Our House.
Now to keep things cohesive,
I brought two of those juniper stems to the bottom of this bowl
and then placing a variety of different ornaments on top
that go with my color scheme for some extra added visual interest
and I think this is such an easy thing to do for your decor,
for your Christmas decor or holiday decor
and on top of that, I'm going to be bringing in that plum color ribbon,
just stuffing it on either side of the bowl for that color aspect
and then to lastly top this bowl off,
I'm pairing those vintage bells that I purchased from The Barn Redefine
right there on top.
All right guys and that is it for today's video.
I hope you enjoyed part one of my Christmas decorate with me.
You guys can obviously anticipate there's going to be multiple parts to this
as there are lots of other areas throughout my home
that I still have to decorate and showcase for you guys
but sound off in the comments what you guys thought of today's video,
how you guys like what it is that I did
for these different surfaces throughout my home
and until next time, I love you guys so much.
Thank you for being here and we'll see you guys in my next video.
Peace.
