The official said, I made a mistake in the past. I suffered too much from being a vegetarian, so I became a cat. Today, I have paid off all my debts. Because of my noble character, I was able to become a noble official. I am the cat that you loved and took care of for 6 years. I still often think about how to repay your kindness. Today, I invite you here because I have something to say. Not long ago, you gave a monk in the temple a loan of money, and received 3,000 dong of his benefit money. Although you used this money to worship Buddha, this kind of selfishness is also an unethical behavior. You have to suffer in hell. Chi Thuyen heard this and was very scared. He asked you how to relieve his suffering. The official said, I have asked you before. There is no other way but to suffer in hell and be beaten 30 times. There is no other way. After hearing this, Chi Thuyen woke up. He thought, I have been a master for a long time. In the past, I was respected by all the monks and laypeople. If I accept to be beaten, what else can I do? I should suffer in hell and hope to get rid of this misfortune. So he gave up everything to make offerings to the monks. At the same time, he suffered in hell with a guilty heart. For over a year, Quang Huyen gave offerings to the pagoda. At that time, all the monks went to make offerings. In the pagoda, there was no one to receive. So Quang Huyen was angry. He had to make offerings to the temple, so he was angry. One day, Chi Thuyen came out of the room and said, He is the owner of this pagoda. Because he was lazy, he did not clean the temple, so he hid and ran away. Chi Thuyen explained, but did not make Quang Huyen satisfied. Not only was he not satisfied, Quang Huyen also beat the owner 30 times and then hurried back. Chi Thuyen remembered the words of the monk in his dream, he understood that this was his karma, so he was determined to suffer. Since then, he has often advised the monks not to take money or of the lack of self-respect. Before Buddha Thich Kha Moni entered the temple, Anand asked, After seeing the shrimp enter the temple, which master do we follow? Buddha Thich Kha replied, Vishu means take the law as your master. How many Dharma teachings and Buddha's teachings have been passed down to hundreds of thousands of Buddhist scriptures? Why didn't Buddha Thich Kha tell his disciples to follow a certain scripture, but instead said, take the law as your master? Because the law is the only thing that Buddha Thich Kha left behind. And the scriptures were passed down by his disciples for many lifetimes. Many generations remember what has been taught, but leave out what Buddha Thich Kha wanted to convey. Or some scriptures were later increased, standing at their own level, explaining, not only did they not express the deep meaning in Buddha Thich Kha's teachings, but also no longer had the ability to increase. Therefore, we can see that the law is the most important thing that Buddha Thich Kha left behind. It is necessary for his disciples to strictly follow the law in order to reach the standard of a true practitioner. Therefore, when they only read the scriptures but do not keep the law, no matter how long they practice, keep their job in Buddhism, be it a monk or a monk, they are no longer the true disciples of Buddha Thich Kha.
