Highlights: Ajax - Volendam | Eredivisie 2023/2024

John van het Schip played 347 matches in the first half of Ajax He scored 33 goals in all the matches Next to him sits his assistant Michael Valkanis A 49-year-old Australian who was an assistant to Van het Schip at Melbourne City Ex-Holle and the Greek national team And this Adjani Marta played as a left back for four years in Sparta's youth academy Played almost 100 matches for young Ajax in the kitchen champion division No control by Ben Amar Taylor there is a lot of space for Ajax to switch But they need to create pace with Den Bomen Give to Guy Brobby in front of the goal Brobby sets up the ball and Berghuis has to score but he doesn't Ajax has a great chance to take the lead after just five minutes Good shot by Brobby And with the inside of the foot struck by Berghuis Marta can attack well here That's exactly where he is Good pass almost Brobby's shot and almost an own goal here It seems like just a matter of time before Ajax takes the lead Attorney Well played Correct speed That's why Mudani is now in between Bergwijn Berghuis Next chance in the making Berghuis right on the goalkeeper You have to get more out of that Berghuis Probably stuck but picked up by Linsson The kick failed but then he fell at his feet and managed this shot He plays football with a lot of confidence This is Wim Jong Of course he is here tonight at the Johan Cruijff Arena Bortekorner Twicht pushes him forward There's no easy ball for the goalkeeper Ajax is once again up against the wall Twicht's kick And then there was pressure in front of Ramai's face That was the attempt by Milan de Haan Oh the dramatic battle of Choutalo He gets away with it Ajax can even attack Bergwijn Finally an attack is coming his way And then he misses the target Much goes through Berghuis Now it's going through Bergwijn this time And there's the goal from Brobby Berghuis shoots the ball wide Bergwijn hits the crossbar But that was not so easy for the striker Hato Brobby Brobby himself You can see how much he wants it You can see how he still longs for that goal Taylor is not being pushed aside by Mirani Bergwijn Ajax can do it again Steven Bergwijn Bergwijn himself A difficult save by Packhausen Taylor hits him poorly Ajax is scoring a goal But he just can't manage it in this first half Bergwijn At the midpoint Linsson Almost scored by Bergwijn That's a great save by Packhausen It's hard for Bergwijn to get the ball on target at all After Marta's cross which was great Not for the first time tonight Very good keeper's work by Packhausen Linsson Berghuis Brobby Brobby met Ben Amar Bergwijn Is this him for Ajax Yes There he is Steven Bergwijn Final goal For the team of John van Schip Bergwijn Mio Packhaus the diligent goalkeeper of Volendam has no answer And now there will likely be more room for Ajax Maybe already Brobby Berghuis Extended well for Guy Can he do it himself Anton Guy Shot towards the far corner First reading by Packhaus Marta yet Bergwijn Berghuis takes over from Guy And then on the right Steven Berghuis He is there behind the goal line The public on the bench for the 20-year-old Marta who made a great debut Brobby missed the goal Ben Amar And Berghuis takes the pressure even higher Volendam this is Muren who is gone The ball passes under the net Walls for the equalizer The rescue is excellent from Ramai What a chance for Volendam to make amends Take another look at the goalkeeper's ladder Hato can easily take it as Van den Bomen stays away from it But that's not how it goes And then he's gone Walls Look at those eyes Bilal Oulchik receives the ball from Ben Amar Salah Eddin doesn't really defend And now he's not in again Mirani Again the rescue of Ramai Salah Eddin is doing far too little In a duel with Oulchik Berghuis Berghuis himself That's not much different Very good action Steven Berghuis Gods Guy Agton is coming That is a chance He hits a bat Hits the ball completely with his head But almost he goes in as well Hoekschot Berghuis Agpon And now it's on target 2-0 The decision The tip that had shown so little since his arrival in Amsterdam Finally a goal for Ajax There is still plenty of room for Ajax to possibly score another goal Bergwijn Bergwijn still has some left Good ball this Agpon Can make another one And he doesn't do that Applause For John van Schip's team Finally finally Ajax won another game in the Eredivisie For the first time Since August 12th It left The last place The way up Seems to have started
