____________________
Sgan Aluf Maidan Yisrael was founded two weeks ago as part of his mission.
He was a senior officer of the Southern Command.
As part of his mission, he was in charge of all the equipment for the Southern Command,
such as clothing, helmets, uniforms, food, medical equipment, ammunition, and everything that went inside.
On the 7th of October, he was a soldier like most soldiers.
In the early hours of the morning, he would start his exercises.
And since then, throughout the entire period, he was engaged in the preparation of the equipment.
From his point of view, he saw it as a war at home.
He worked 24 hours a day, and he didn't sleep.
Really, nights like days.
And he said, I will give my life to this war.
It will make a difference in Yemen.
In the end, he left for a short after, because he didn't sleep for so long.
And during that trip, he was killed.
We have three small children, the eldest is 9 years old.
The middle one is 6 years old, and the youngest is 1 year and 8 months old.
First of all, the difficulty is very big.
Very big, because it's three small children.
And now we have to see how we will continue.
I can say first of all that the two difficulties that are most significant for me
are first of all, really, from the point of view of the children.
That they have a lot of love for their father,
that there is no more love.
Although he will always be with them in their heart,
but physically he will not be here.
And it's a very big deal that we have to see how we will complete it.
And the second difficulty, for me personally,
is really my husband, my life partner.
That also has to be somewhere, to connect and see how we will continue.
There are conversations with the children, not many,
they don't always want to talk.
In conversations that there are,
for my daughter it is very important, first of all,
to know that the soldiers still receive everything they need,
the equipment, the food, that nothing is missing for them.
They see their father as a hero,
but it is still very difficult for them
to understand that their father will not be with them anymore.
Again, physically, he will not be here.
They will not be able to see him again.
The things that do strengthen in all of this
are all the messages, letters,
the phones that I receive from people who served with him
throughout the years, from his regular service,
until he was 18,
how much he did for them,
how much he influenced them,
and how much, thanks to him, their service was different.
People who simply wrote him,
and tell about the change they went through
when they went to meet him,
about what he did for them.
All of these are things that strengthen a little,
because they create a feeling of pride
and a knowledge that he did everything he could,
and that he contributed to many people,
hundreds of people who have a place in his heart,
and that he will be remembered not only in the family,
but also in the army,
and in the hearts of hundreds of people,
as a person who did so much
and contributed for the country,
and for the people in particular,
on a personal level for everyone.
I want to tell our people that we are a strong people,
and this country is our country,
we have no other country,
and I believe and I am sure that with our unity
and the assistance we give each other,
we will be able to overcome,
and stand here, and stay here,
because we have no other place,
and we will fight for our place,
and we will strengthen each other,
and we will be here for each other.
