Komisi Pemilihan Umum (KPU) RI menetapkan bakal pasangan calon (paslon) presiden dan calon wakil presiden Anies Baswedan - Muhaimin Iskandar, Ganjar Pranowo - Mahfud MD, serta Prabowo Subianto - Gibran Rakabuming Raka sebagai paslon presiden dan wakil presiden pada Pemilu serentak 2024, di Jakarta, Senin (13/11). Selanjutnya, KPU RI akan mengundi dan menetapkan nomor urut paslon presiden dan wakil presiden pada 14 November 2023. (ANTARA)

The General Election Commission, KP URI,
appointed the candidates for President and Vice-President,
Anis Baswedan Muhaimin Iskandar,
Ganjar Pranowo Mahfud MD,
and Prabowo Subianto Gibran Rakabuming Raka,
as candidates for President and Vice-President
for the 2024 General Election.
The appointment was made by the KPU
after holding a closed plenary session
on Monday, November 13 in Jakarta.
The KPU stated that the three parliaments
have fulfilled the registration,
health check,
and verification of the documents.
After the appointment,
the KPU will hold the voting stage
and the appointment of the candidates
for President and Vice-President
as determined in Article 235, verse 2.
The KPU Plenary Session is open
for the voting stage and the appointment
of the candidates for President and Vice-President.
The planning will be held
at the KPU's office in Selasa
on November 14, 2023
at 6.30 p.m. until it is completed.
In addition,
in connection with the appointment
of the candidates for President and Vice-President,
security and control will be carried out
for each individual,
CAPRES and CAWAPRES
carried out by the police.
There is security and control
for each CAPRES and CAWAPRES
consisting of 74 personnel
from two teams.
The campaign period has been set by the KPU
for 75 days,
starting from November 28
until February 10, 2024.
Meanwhile, the voting will be held
on February 14, 2024.
