Highlights: Almere City - Ajax | Eredivisie 2023/2024

Almere has been doing well lately remaining unbeaten in the last six matches If we are counting the cup competition against OJC Roosmalen why not Four wins against Utrecht RKC OJC Roosmalen and Sparta and two draws with NEC and Go Ahead Eagles The last defeat was on September 23 here at this stadium against PSV He was raised in Almere and played here as a child for ASC Waterwijk Mo Ihataren in the middle where something is better visible one of the people here Bergwijn well played Taylor back again Bergwijn Opposite Robinette who is not a defender Bergwijn can get in And the first chance is Steven Bergwijn's shot Robby back with Van Brugge and now the free trap Oh gentlemen Both men are not easily intimidated Both men will likely meet each other many more times so Nijhuis wants it kept short He gives both Lords yellow but yes here he couldn't really do much else At a certain point that card is worth noting And another violation and another card Quarter in progress card number 4 this one is for Robynette This is Linsom on the right Robynette takes position Mikko Tatsen joins But now again many players from Almere are leaving he is back The attack has drained his blood and the upper seat belongs to Reysink Is this Robynette who is struggling from a great distance Avoids the rhythm master Van der Kamp's slide Linsom Rens yet another ball loss and no foul There goes Rajiv van la Parra again Reysink where Berghuis feels the pain and Ramai can take the lead Duel met Reysink often causes the game to stall Because of discard here a scratch there or a bump left or right Rhythm master Van der Kamp Hansen and that shot goes wide It was unexpected because it went through Hato Something to ponder Sossa Reysink And this ball bounces just past the goal The enthusiasm there is understandable because Almere City is making history for the first time They are certainly just as dangerous as the Amsterdam team when playing an official match against Ajax Roby Linsom Berghuis on the left pulling out next to And these are the options Ajax has Bergwijn takes his shot from Koopbein so this is the shot Van Linsom goes straight at Bakker Another difficult save that shot by Linsom Who is next Berghuis Berghwijn Roby Mikao Tadze because that's his job that's the intention It at least offers a chance The pastor and the cookie the grocer This free staircase all the way in the back and Besso doesn't come near it Rentsch is sold again there's Robynet the hand and the goal Raise the flag so the joy is short-lived It will of course be checked to see if it was indeed the case The assistant immediately raised the flag that is indeed the case Here is the door handle from Robynet Berghuis Taylor Taylor and Linsom can play a bit higher now with Rentsch and Tahirovic The midfielders are Guy Roby and Taylor For the shot and the uh inside post Only one pole was hit Roby R2 hit the target with one shot earlier in the week Inside and then not inside Berghwijn Forbes Next shot is there and not always complicated for Nordin Bakker Ajax is now calmly adding more Who is behind it who benefits He will just do it himself then Bakker hesitated for a moment but eventually caught him Roby Hard shot from the corner and a crucial save by Nordin Bakker Eventually something stands with its face towards Van Brugge and therefore also towards the goal Roby Taylor Even lost to Van Brugge and thus he only manages to hit it once Bakker gets the ball away to the side Even lost from his tormentor and thus space to shoot Taylor Roby is just arriving And then Almere City comes out the three of them And there are only two from Ajax This is not offside Hansen is now facing one man with two of his Duivenstein the conductor of the Kamp has been seen The rhythm master of the Camp finishes it makes it in the transition Suddenly they were gone and in the majority Almere City is facing Ajax Fantastic breakthrough and then they are suddenly gone Duivenstein has already seen that there is space on the left a lot of space with the leader of the Kamp They do that very skillfully That's done very cleverly Well done and thus Almere City is in Roby Roby is out and the equalizer is from Ekpom just in the team And so Almereevenodd had only a short time to enjoy the lead Ekpom scores his fourth goal in the last three Eredivisie matches Geijer Roby as the provider They drew 1-1 We're going for the blow for the man who came to replace him Geijer Forbes Geijer has run through And a good chance for Roby and then Ekpom No two big chances The first one for Roby the next one for Ekpom But neither of them went in Taylor Taylor he gets a duel from Koopmeinders Whether it was a pure shoulder duel I dare to doubt They're playing with fire so Nijhuis says wait a second It's in my back says Taylor I had that idea too at first But it's still allowed it's not strong enough to put the ball on the spot Hato Tahirovic gets it from Roby gets it back from Tahirovic And then it's 2-1 Tahirovic to Roby Roby back Tahirovic and 2-1 And he is also the man from East Knollendam seen as the keeper Nordin Bakker who did not respond to this bet by Tahirovic Peña Royo Robinet and Hansen in the sixteen Peña is now also coming so throw him forward as you would say Surely when the ball is missed And Recik suddenly gets a big chance That was something he hadn'tposal Dan is the Devil there Stop keep away Oh he's going to the spot Tahirovic the man who made the winning hit He scores the 2-1 but then also commits the foul in extra time In his own penalty area And then it's a 2-2 chance Another point for Almere City from 11 meters he scores Robinet in extra time The 2-2 the fifth of this season for Robinet The match is over and Almere City celebrates it as a victory And Ajax leaves with just one point
