We're Wast3r and this is our tour pranks. We did our tour with our good friends Neckbeam.
Basically they pranked us pretty hard. They covered us in toilet roll, silly string, everything.
Kind of covered our gear, covered our new clothes.
So I was like, how am I going to one-up these guys? We haven't really got anything to do to one-up that.
So I ran to a Target shop, I picked up a six-pack of eggs.
I ran back, they were playing and I was like, right I'm going to egg them.
Their tour manager and the whole crew were like, don't do it, don't do it, we're all going to kick off if you do it.
I was a bit drunk, I was acting like an idiot.
So, two eggs in my hand, walk over to Matt West and just crack two eggs on his head.
The egg goes on his guitar, he's not able to play, he's pissed off.
I look at everyone around the stage, everyone's just looking at me like, everyone's mopping egg up.
I literally just ran off, I didn't know what to do with it.
I was like, yeah, the world's eating me right now.
I just ran off, got in a van and kept low for a couple of days.
I would say that same prank I remember, we got them back quite hard.
Ben the singer was in the middle of singing a verse and I had baby talc or talcum powder.
I just squeezed the whole thing and I saw it go into his face and I just saw him inhale half of this bottle.
He just couldn't sing at all. That was a heavy night for pranks.
We got pranked our whole set. Every single song they came on, there was Australians on the tour as well.
We were doing shoeys, if you don't know what a shoey is, it's an Australian tradition where they take off a dirty shoe
and they fill it with beer or whatever and you have to drink it.
We've done that a few times because we seem to always tour with Australians.
Right now, yeah.
I mean, I'm expecting a few in a couple of weeks, so I'm preparing for those shoeys.
We do a prank which we actually picked up. I think we picked it up on that tour.
We target the drummer and one by one we take away, we take apart his drum kit while he's playing
until he's just left with sometimes just a snare.
So he just has to just play the song with a hi-hat and a snare.
And to be fair, they usually pull it off pretty well.
I think another one we picked up from Deep as well, they started doing this thing they called the haircut
where they'd bring a seat on stage and they sit you down and they put you, like, get a towel around
like you're having a hot towel shave, lean you back and then just pour miscellaneous alcohol into your mouth.
And yeah, trying to do a guitar solo whilst you're on a chair.
It's a dangerous game. It's a dangerous game.
We've been left in some states without me as well.
I think we definitely learnt a few good pranks from that tour. Those guys have got it.
Yeah, they're good at pranking.
Just don't ever egg anyone. Don't egg. Just don't egg. Leave eggs out of the equation.
