Top Gun Maverick Darkstar by Matchbox

he today's review we're going to show you this Matchbox top gun Maverick Dark Star it looks quite quite Sleek I don't think it matches the appearance quite like that in the film but it is a very nice modern looking plane very futuristic this size is very small it's not 164 at all it's probably more like 144 or at least 100 and it comes with a little plastic base that you can rotate so let's have a look at the packaging and check it out in detail if you're into diecast and Transformers please do consider subscribing to my channel thank you it's got a simple blister holding the plane in place logo if you're interested in this stuff I'll just zoom in and you can see you've got the artwork here no Tom Cruz and on the back if you're interested in all this stuff that Russian okay let's get this open here we are out the packaging so we can see it doesn't look as cool as the one in the film but it's got the same shape and you can see so I thought this was plastic but this nose part is actually metal diecast it's just that it's been painted black and then you can see here that's plastic material on the side going all the way around and here and all the way around to like a perimeter around the back and then we've got this plastic fins here and overall H it's got some weight to it especially the front where the nose is diecast and underneath uh we just have dark star Paramount Pictures and underne not too much detail underneath we have a little Keyhole and that matches the keyhole here we got like a little base stand that looks like the S of Enterprise combadge and just put that under here very easily just fits in and that positions it slightly upwards in its resting place so yeah that's it really simple no moving Parts um no cockpit windows or anything like that it's just plastic and metal together just to make the outer shape of it really it's got some painted details here so if you look at the back got a code here as well and just some lines really so very very simple design but I think it looks quite cool maybe yeah they'll make a proper Dark Star version they look really nice in the film very cool but for now this is what we get from Matchbox let's give this guy a spin so here we can see all around very simple construction looks quite Sleek but doesn't quite match the film's appearance but good enough job I guess scale is very small um if it was any bigger it be much more expensive I think to reproduce that so yeah it's that big for a reason I mean not this size it looks like a unmanned drone really rather than a plane there you go yeah if you like this video do give it a like do subscribe to my channel if you're interested in diecast cars and Brands such as Hot Wheels Matchbox and in Transformers toys and hopefully see you in the next review take [Music] care for
