Have you ever reached a place in a dream?
Falling asleep last night looking at the pictures on the wall, I dreamed that I came to Horseshoe Bend.
Horseshoe Bend is a U-shaped channel scoured by the Colorado River for thousands of years。
It is called "Horseshoe Bend" because the giant rocks around the river bend are shaped like horseshoes.
The closest town to Horseshoe Bend is Page, Arizona.
The scenic spot charges a $10 ticket per car.
It is worth noting that it is a desert climate when walking to the scenic spot, so pay attention to sun protection and hydration.
As we left, we met another group of friends. Presumably Horseshoe Bay will also be the destination you want to reach in your dreams.
Leaving Horseshoe Bend, we headed up the river to Glen Canyon Dam.
Dams store water for the arid regions of the American Southwest.
The Horseshoe Bend we saw before is also a section of Glen Canyon.
Soils and rocks with a lot of metallic elements, the metallic orange-red glow in the sun,
and the emerald-green Colorado River waters complement each other.
After watching the canyon dam, we finally came to Lake Powell.
Lake Powell was named in honor of General Powell, the first pioneer explorer in the United States who floated the river and proposed the development of water conservancy.
With this 3,500-kilometer coastline, you can see the splendor of this second largest artificial lake in the United States from an airplane.
The Glenn Dam you just saw is what formed Lake Powell.
Although the arid region keeps the water level lower, the lake is a veritable holiday destination with many water sports developed on it.
Those who want to go boating and rafting on Lake Powell during the peak season must remember to book and reserve time in advance, so as
to have a good opportunity to experience Lake Powell, or drift deeply into Horseshoe Bend and Antelope Canyon.
After our tour of Lake Powell, we were ready to leave Arizona.
In the future, I highly recommend everyone to stay here for a while to
experience the local entertainment activities and life in the southwestern United States.
The next video, I will take you into Bryce National Park to experience the Utah landscape up close.
