【紅杉樹國家公園】最不能錯過的景點！攀爬刺激的山頂岩石Moro Rock｜Sequoia National Park

Walking on the edge of the cliff now, I don't know if there is a road ahead. Wow, it's here. In Sequoia National Park, you can walk at the foot of the giant forest, or stand on the top of the rock overlooking it. If you want to experience the most exciting hiking and the widest view in the shortest walking distance, climbing Moro Rock in the park will give you the most effective experience. Those who are afraid of heights, climb carefully! Take the road south of the park and you will see a huge rock. This is my last stop in Sequoia National Park, climbing the granite top. At first, there were wooden stairs here. Later, the park was rebuilt in 1931, and a concrete stone step road was dug directly from the edge of the rock to ensure the safety of tourists, but its narrow path can only pass the width of one person. Although the distance to climb to the top of the rock is only 400 meters, you have to climb 350 stone steps continuously, which is equivalent to climbing as high as a 25-story building. But the process is not boring, because every step you take, you will be rewarded with more beautiful scenery. It is said that this granite rock began to form 100 million years ago. It seems hard and unchanged, but it is slowly changing with the years. It changes, like the peeling of an onion, as layers of giant slabs fall off, revealing the smoother granite inside, but at the same time it becomes smaller and smaller. The most recent rockslide occurred in the 1990s when a whole slab of rock fell onto the road below. After the park blasted it into small pieces, it was removed and opened to traffic. You can feel from the heavier breathing that the more you climb, the steeper you are. That's it. But when you reach the top, you will find that the top of the rock is so flat. Although the rock is 2,050 meters above sea level, we only need to climb the last 76 meters above sea level, and within a few steps, we can enjoy a panoramic view of the vertical mountain. The original mountains in the distance, and the nearby mountain roads, from the perspective of God in the clouds, the scenery is unobstructed. Standing on the top of the boulder is like standing on the shoulders of giants, just like we are enjoying the benefits brought by this era, but we still need to work hard to climb up to see the broader scenery.
