Novak Djokovic "Playing for a Country is always the Greatest PLEASURE" - Davis Cup 2023

Yeah, great match. Obviously playing for the country is always the greatest pleasure and motivation. Lots of emotions, responsibilities on the court after a long season. You can feel it in the legs but I thought I started off the match well. I served very well when I needed to. I think Norrie raised his level towards mid-second set towards the end of the match. He was serving well and it was very difficult obviously to play a left-hander. I haven't played much left-handers lately so overall it's great to finish off the job after singles. You're going to have another great opponent on Saturday, Italy and Yannick Singer. Yeah, we played a couple of really fantastic matches in Torino. He's one of the best players in the world right now. Italy is a very strong nation. Let's see what happens. We're going to fight and leave it all out on the court. Congratulations. Thank you.
