2024 is going to be your year for digital planning today guys I am going to show you the 2024 in Samsung Notes planner a interactive PDF that allows you to personalize customize and make plans for yourself in the coming year so you can reach New Heights our planner has been completely redesigned to include an entirely set of new features like the year at the view the vision board daily pages that you can now customize with daily tiles and a whole lot more so today guys in this video I'm going to show you everything you need to know when it comes to digital planning how to utilize the tool and how our planner Works in it so stay with [Music] me so before we even get started with talking about our digital planner I want to ask you a question why are you considering digital planning in the first place and what is it to you well digital planning gives you the opportunity to take those stacks of paper notebooks all those binders that been collecting on your desk and in your library for years and put them in a tablet into the cloud into a space where you now can archive them forever but yet find your notes whenever you want I'm going to show you how to do that later in the video but today guys I want to talk a little bit about digital planning and some of the big benefits for it so many of you maybe have used Franklin cvy or full Focus planners or a passion planner at one time but today guys you have the opportunity to take the traditional means of digital planning and incorporate the key to success Technologies and system into your daily life so you can reach new success you're going to be able to recall those notes search for the things that you're looking for and that is what makes digital planning so exciting because you can have your notes wherever you want wherever you go as we've learned more about digital planning one thing that really makes digital planning successful is using a powerful application that help you do your digital planning there's a handful of different applications out there we're talking about Samsung Notes today which is an application that you can use across Samsung devices it easily syncs with all your Samsung devices so if you are on your Samsung phone your tablet or even a Samsung laptop you can recall your notes and they will synchronize across those devices but how do you use the application well we have a full video that you can hit here that shows you a deep dive on how to get the most out of Samsung Notes I'm going to show you some quick starter tips and how you can start your planning Journey today first and foremost you have the ability once you are in pen mode to see this toolbar across the top from here we can choose to have different pen tools so we can do like a a roller ball there and we can choose to have different thicknesses we can also choose the color now you can create customizations and save different pens and you can do that we talk about that in our video but when you choose a pen you can then go ahead and you can write on the screen looks a little thick I can go ahead and change that by bringing the stroke size down and writing another note that is why it's important once you find the desired tip and font you like to use to go ahead and create that favorite and then you'll be able to quickly navigate to your different favorites as you choose to when you're planning now there's also the ability to create highlighters so same thing I can choose different highlighters or different points I can even choose the opacity of the highlighter I think that's really important especially when you have a lot of different type maybe you want to emphasize some highlighting and you don't want to emphasize some they're highlighting or maybe if you're marking up a document and you have like a PDF on your screen that you embedded into the plan and you're creating some annotations you might need to bring the opacity of that highlighter up to knock out some of the information that exists on the page well with the highlighter we can go ahead and we can choose to create highlights on our page when we get into the Eraser tool we have a couple things that I think are really important here you can erase the stroke or the entire area what the stroke is going to do if I come here and just touch the corner of that stroke it's going to delete the entire line that was formed when I made that stroke if I choose to do eras area I can choose to have a thickness you can see a preview of that thickness right there now when I come in it's just going to erase the little area that the Eraser is touching that's awesome but what happens if I want to erase the highlighter but leave the text that's there well you can choose to have erase highlighter only and then this will go ahead and this will erase just the highlighted portion and leave the type behind I think that's really important because I use highlighters for categorizing my life I use one color for personal one color for work meetings one color for professional building some colors for different schedules in my family for my kids or my wife and this helps me segregate the different information that's on my daily planner and that's really important the last thing I want to show you is the lassle tool the lassle tool you can choose to have it to be a customized tool or a rectangle I usually use a customized tool but when I use that I can select an area and then from here I can move that area well I have a couple options I can either cut that area copy it delete it I can change a style I can also convert the text if I click convert the text it's going to show you what the preview of the text is going to be I can hit convert and now you can see that that text that I handw wrote is now actually text this is really cool if you're taking a lot of notes and a meaning I'm in sales and I meet with a lot of customers and the last thing I want to do is have this laptop in front of me as we're sitting there typing CU it's a distraction well I can go ahead and create handwritten notes and then convert those to texts and do a followup with those notes later but that is how you do that I also want to show you one other cool feature I can choose that lassle tool I can hit copy and I can move to the next day so if you have daily planning and you have to-dos that you weren't able to complete TW you can go to the next page you can go ahead and paste on the next page those notes so if I had a laundry list of different things I need to complete that I wasn't able to complete I can copy those from one page to the next this is also really helpful if you're kind of like doing a meeting agenda or just some brainstorming you can copy the the sections that basically glued themselves to your ideas and put those in a different board to be utilized as well now there's a handful of different other tools that you're going to see on this page you're going to want to check out that video that I talked about if you want to learn more about how to use Samsung Notes once you have installation out of the way the next thing I want you to learn about is how you can navigate our system the thing I want to stress to you most is before you tell us that your hyperlinks are not working you followed these instructions I have my planner loaded and you can see right now if I have my pen and I tap on the screen I can go ahead and I can swipe and navigate I then can go to any of these hyperlinks and click on them and you'll see that they navigate to the pages well let's just say that was not how it worked for you and when you put your finger on the screen you got writing and when you went to tap on the hyperlinks it didn't work the reason for that is you need to be in reading mode when it comes to navigating on Samsung Notes this is very similar for many different applications so if you jump into a different application it might have the same effect just note that you need to be in reading mode when you want to navigate throughout the planning system you need to be in writing mode or pen mode when you want to be able to take annotations or type in our system so let's talk about the navigation system and how it really works so back into reading mode I can go ahead and click on key this key page will get you to anywhere in the planning system it allows you to go ahead and click on our professional builder back over to key you can jump to our vision board you can also use all the different months down the side and click on January maybe you want to go to January 12th you can do so you can also go ahead and click on any of the dates on the page so if I want to go to January 16th I can do that now you can change the direction of your page settings to have different scroll directions you could do vertical scroll or horizontal scroll in this case we're in horizontal scroll so if I go ahead and I swipe I can get to the next page as well one thing that we added in this year's addition of the plan is a year at of view page that I think is absolutely amazing if I click on the word year it's going to show me a page that it shows me the entire year of view it's also give me the opportunity to take any notes for the upcoming year that you want to be able to carry over into the following Year's plans I can go ahead and click on any one of these dates if I want to get to August 5th I can click on August 5th and it'll take me right to that page now if you are in portrait mode and not utilizing our landscape version if you click on August 24th that'll also take you back to this year view page so any page that you're on if you simply click on the 2024 in the title bar you'll be able to navigate back to this homepage the last thing I want to show you when it comes to our planning system is these planning systems a lot of the different applications don't allow you the ability to create hyperlinks like some other applications do well with our planning system we've kind of taken a little bit of a hybrid approach where you can create index pages to get to those pages so if you are on this page and you see right here it says notes I have the word anniversary notes written I can go ahead and click on a one and this is going to take me to a page that I have dedicated to my anniversary notes not sure what I'm getting from my anniversary but it's a big one coming up so I got to start writing some notes on and get some ideas kind a little bit of hundu husband trickery to find out exactly what she wants anyway so those notes can be put on the planner and again I can jump back to my key page and you can go ahead and use these lines to write kind of like an index for what you had on the notes you can also do that from our meetings pages and our projects so if you're having a meeting with Bradford or you have a project about the pro the Bradford Dam project you can easily do that and be able to jump to those pages as well so that is how you can navigate in our system as you dive into digital planning in Samsung Notes commonly asked question that comes up is can I personalize my planning system now the answer to that is yes and we've even taken it to a point where we actually made it a personalized opportunity for you to build out pages and templates of your own so you can maximize your productivity if You' heard of stickers you can search the internet for them they're fun cute loving carrying little icons that you can use to kind of decorate your planning system you can utilize those in our planner as well but we have developed off of that idea tiles these are professional elements that allows you to personalize your page and we have a whole set of tiles on our website you can check them out everything from life balance Wheels to project Wheels to address books to recipes tons of different tiles that you can use to make your planner unique you can also take these tiles in other planning systems as well as use them to create your own notebooks so don't feel like you don't want to EXP for this because you really do it's fun it's exciting it's cool and we're constantly adding more tiles one thing we did this year was we added daily tiles daily tiles allows you to take your daily spread and personalize it with different opportunities and time blocking scenarios so you could have your standard calendar you could add a 24-hour calendar you could add a 15-minute block calendar and there is a slew of different time blocking elements that you can pull into your daily plan you can also restructure the right side of the page to add in expanded notes sections to add in different tools maybe mileage things that are unique to you you can also create your own and place them in here as well so go ahead check out daily tiles they're pretty exciting they're online there's lots of opportunities so let's show you quickly how you can go ahead and add a tile and how you can personalize yourself just if you haven't gotten there so I'm on my daily page I'm going to go ahead to insert I'm going to add an image and I'm going to navigate to where I have my tile saved you've located the tile that you want to embed into the daily planner simply click on it this will go ahead and'll pull the tile into the planning system and from here you have a couple different options you can reize that and organize it but you can see we can take that tile and we can bring that right over top our daily page so maybe we weren't so interested about the exercise or the water chart or what our next opportunities were but we want to have more area for tasks and projects we We Now can do that maybe we want to have a whole page of notes we could go in there and pull a note page we can take these tiles and do a number of things and then we can from there go ahead and make the necessary edits that we wanted to do so that is a quick look at Tiles so first and foremost something about the key to success planner that's
