On traverse les collines toscanes en suivant la Via Francigena, une sorte de chemin de pèlerinage en direction de Rome.
Nous sommes accueillis à la capitale par une famille italienne, qui nous prépare les meilleures pâtes de notre vie !
Italie, on t'aime.

I hope you are hungry yes we are
some pepper it's a good idea
I think it's a very good idea
depending on your taste
yes
wow
wait wait wait
oh yes
all good things have an end
that's it
we are leaving
after this great evening
at the heart of the family
we are back on the bikes
yes
after a great stay in Rome
with our hosts
and in this wonderful italian family
we are back on the road
we loved their hospitality
it's so nice
and now we are going back to Rome
to take a train to the east of the country
to save some time
because our days are numbered
in this tour of Italy
we are on an old road
the Appia way
and there should be a lot of things to see
so we are going to take our time
let's go
so this road is more than 2000 years old
and those are original pavements
or basalt
so it's not easy to ride on it
but it's incredible
to think that it's from the Roman era
I'm fascinated by
the Roman civilization
so it's great to be able to ride
in the traces of the era
you have to imagine at the time
the grandeur, the prestige of this road
that led to Rome
and all those buildings on the sides
it's fascinating
