They had also managed to cultivate plants resistant to cold and to raise cattle to meet their needs. Queen Maud herself was an eminent scientist and a great researcher. The royal couple spent perfect days completing themselves in the tasks of the Ice Kingdom. She had discovered ways to transform seawater into fresh and purified water. The prosperous air of their kingdom, thanks to the efforts of the wise, was at the top of what humanity had of better. But the greatest achievement of Queen Maud was the creation of an alliance with the creatures of Antarctica. She had managed to establish a communication with the manatees, seals, and especially dolphins, transforming them into friends and allies of her people. These marine creatures helped them to fish and protect their kingdom against external threats. However, despite the quietude of her people, Queen Maud knew that their civilization remained fragile and could change at any time. She was aware of the existence of the tectonic phenomena of the Earth, and that her civilization could encounter a point of no return. One day, scientists announced to Queen Maud the imminence of a geological disaster on the scale of the planet. The Queen, faced with the threat, organized an expedition to survive in the heights of the worlds of the Australian lands. This bold rescue initiative to the north of Antarctica allowed her to preserve a very small part of the heritage of the lands of Arcania. The Queen, having remained on her continent, brought comfort to her people by explaining that the hope of finding other habitable lands would allow her to continue the great adventure of human civilizations.
