(Bundesliga 2023/2024): Highlights FC Köln - FC Bayern München

They have to try and put Bayern off their game in some way, shape or form, because Bayern have to, if they have the right approach, it's going to be very difficult for Köln to handle it. Leimer's cutback, Choupo-Moting trying to turn and got the shot away and it squirts wide of the target. Swept forward here and Zanet away. Leroy Zanet denied by Marvin Schweber. He was all alone. The biggest issue for him was the bounce of the ball. It didn't quite just sort of zip through. And he was just waiting for the right opportunity to get his body shape right. Just poked that through, then might have been away. But here is the danger. Zanet. Slipping it through for Choupo-Moting. He's made the space off the line and put in by Harry Kane. Yet more history. 18 goals and counting for Harry Kane. It just goes to show you how dangerous Bayern are. Whenever they win the ball, they're even so deep in their own half. The transition, the forward passing is excellent. And the ball in behind there. Choupo-Moting, you think he's going to score for himself. It's a good save off the line. They've got a know-how of, you know, watching players, watching the flow of play in front of them unfold. And they're in again here. Zanet, Choupo-Moting, good save by Schweber. He guessed and he guessed right. And it's a game for Bayern. I mean, it's just Leroy Zanet, that run through. Timo Hubers this time is pretty deep. He keeps everyone on side. And for Choupo-Moting, once he receives that ball, that first touch is really tight underneath him. And he tries to pull it out wide. By that time, the defender comes back across and there's only really one place for him to go. He tries to slot it in. But it's a really good save. We saw some evidence of that last season as well, as he was racking up the assists and the goals. He's a player that's really had a bit of an evolution. Here's Choupo-Moting. He's got Zanet for company. Leroy Zanet. How did he not go in? Racking up the chances here. Yeah, I mean, ruthless in that attack, that transition moving forward. I mean, really tight calls there, but you can see there. Keitz. That's a really good delivery at the header. Pulled away by Neuer. It's a super ball. It's not raining goals just yet. Kimmich's delivery. Guided away and the shot was traveling from Mazraoui. And then Schwebe has to react quickly to deny Coman. He's obviously a bit unfortunate. There's a lot of bodies in front of him. Kinzie Koeman gets on this really well, very quickly. Goretzka again. It's all a little bit slowed down. Coman's cross and the header is wide at the target. From Harry Kane. I think Kane can do it the way he's going if he stays fit. Absolutely think he can do it. Here is Coman. He's got support. The far post was over Kane and then Zane's effort is deflected wide at the target. Keitz Killian. Flick on and the header from Coman. Either got a touch off Schwebe or the bar. Close here to a second goal for Bayern. They did hit the bar. Saw Schwebe throw his hands up. Taking on Carstensen. Coman. The idea was right. The execution, not quite right to try and curl it into that far post. He knew straight away the minute he turned inside there, created a bit of space for himself that he was going to go for that far post. Just couldn't get enough. Bayern Munich go top of the table. It wasn't pretty, but they did what they had to do. Harry Kane with the only goal of the game, making more history. Officially the best ever scoring season.
