Hello, I'm Quynh. Welcome back to Trang's drawing tutorial series. In the previous video, I drew a peach, a single-pattern flower and a jade flower. If you haven't watched it, you can watch it by following the link on the top right of the video. Today, I will draw 3 types of flowers that I am asked to guide the most, which are lotus, jasmine and jasmine. The content of the video is all my personal experience, so you can comment and change the supplement so that my next videos are more complete. First, the lotus flower at the corner looks a bit dull. This is the corner I find the most beautiful and is used by the most people. Step 1, I will draw a large ellipse, then a small ellipse that is slightly tilted upwards to make the center of the flower. If I'm not mistaken, I think the lotus flower has another name, which is lotus mirror. Step 2, we will draw the flower petals close to the lotus mirror. This is the first layer of flower petals with a water drop in the middle. Then the lotus petals are arranged on both sides around the lotus flower. The back petals will be partially covered by the front petals. Step 3, we will draw a petal around the lotus mirror. And the last step, I will draw the second flower petal wrapped around the first flower petal to make the lotus flower fuller. The flower petals are on both sides of the ellipse. On the ellipse, I will draw another curve in the flower. Because in this position, we can see both the front and the back of the flower. So we have a pretty good lotus flower. Now I will move on to drawing lotus leaves. Step 1, we also draw an ellipse and a dot slightly tilted above the center of the leaf. Step 2, I will use some dots to determine the basic shape of the leaf. You can notice that the shape of the lotus leaf looks very natural, like many irregular curves combined together. In the middle of the leaf, I will draw the curved lines and add a few small I-shaped lines. Now I will base it on the above two formulas to make this round decoration at home. I remember correctly that there was an art class to draw a round decoration like this, right? I will draw two flowers in two different directions. Here I will draw an old lotus mirror to make it more vivid. I will draw another butterfly with lime eyes here. Actually, this butterfly is too small, so I'm not sure if its eyes have limes or not. For normal lotus leaves, people usually use dark green to mix with a bit of blue, which is more of a greenish color. However, I am not used to drawing like that, so in this video, I will draw according to my style. The left side of the leaf is darker, so I will use the color of jade. The ratio of green and blue to mix this color is about 2 to 3. On the right hand side, I use green mixed with brown. I use brown as a color to connect the two green colors. You can mix brown with a little bit of green to paint the leaves. These two colors are often used to draw masks such as young mountains, dragonflies, etc. For the tree trunk, I will paint it a little darker. You can use a lot of water so that when it dries, the color will be more clear. We can control the amount of water when painting whether to leave the color or not. On the right side of the leaf, I use a slightly fresher brown color. In the leaves or places where there is a shadow, you can paint a little darker. Apply the same to the flower. You will notice that the flower will gradually darken towards the top of the flower. I will paint a dark pink at the top of the flower and a little lighter in the shadow. This lotus stem is supposed to be painted green, but I will paint it pink to decorate and make the color more colorful. Partly because when I drew this step, I was a little bit uncooperative. The second type of flower is the type of flower that I am suggested to make the most videos, which is the jade flower. This type of flower is very famous, especially for those of you who like to read love stories as well as paintings from Chinese pages. I find this drawing quite complicated. At first, I did not know where to start. After studying the structure of the flower, the flower is made up of many small flowers with this shape. The first is a circle divided into 6 parts. Next is to draw 6 petals according to the divided shape. The petal is a bit long and small at the top of the petal. Then come the jade flower, expressed from the heart. The jade flower is very long and curved. Please pay attention to draw the dot of the flower clearly. After drawing a flower, draw 3-4 more flowers in 4 directions like this. Depending on the direction, the petals will have different degrees of curvature. You can draw as you like to get used to it. When you understand the structure of the flower, it is not very difficult. Just a little bit confusing, because this petal is placed on the other petal. And everyone should draw slowly each small flower. If you have not drawn this part yet, but move to another part, it will be very confusing. When you come back, you will not know where you have drawn. For each flower, you should always draw a similar jade flower. Coloring the jade flower is quite simple. You just follow the picture drawn with a red tone and press a dark red. I think the most important problem to have a beautiful jade flower is to build the shape and arrange the flower petals of the jade flower. When the jade flower blooms, the leaves will not develop anymore. If there are leaves, there are no flowers. If there are flowers, there are no leaves. So the flower and the leaf of the jade flower will never meet each other. In each country, the jade flower has different meanings. For example, in Japan, the meaning of jade flower is a painful memory. In North Korea, it is a memory of each other. In China, it is a pure love for America. In general, this is a flower that represents separation and despair. Legend has it that the jade flower is the only flower that grows on the way down to the netherworld. When the soul before passing through the Nai Ha Bridge crosses the river, it will send all of its memories to the jade flower. In my opinion, this is a very beautiful, enchanting and sad flower. If you are curious about this flower, you can refer to more stories on Google. The third is the jade flower. This is also one of the very famous flowers that are used a lot in mask paintings. The jade flower includes a lot of small petals that form a long cone like this. The straight line in the middle is the flower petal and also acts as a counterpoint. Based on this axis, I will determine the position of the flower petals. These petals will follow the shape of the flower petals I drew at the beginning. These are the jade flower petals when growing on the branch. Based on the positions I have determined, I will draw the next petals. Because the petals grow in many different directions, we need to draw a few more petals to make the painting more vivid. The more the tail, the smaller the petals. And so we have a set of jade flowers. Usually, jade flowers are not alone, but there are many flowers next to each other that look very eye-catching. I have never seen a jade flower in real life, but I just saw it in a picture and it was very beautiful. I hope that one day I can see jade flowers with my own eyes. Well, even the jade flower. The jade leaves have a bulging shape, arranged in the shape of a fish bone into a large leaf. Here I will add a little brown. My flowers combine with pink, purple and blue. Now I'm going to add a little green. I'm going to add a little yellow. When I looked it up, I saw that there were many jade trees with super long flowers, probably 1 meter long. Such super long flowers are often combined with a picture frame with a long, wide viewing angle and drawn in the shape of an arrow. In this video, I use the back of the paper Napier Corvette.
