In 2018, the dusty grounds of Shandong, China revealed a sensational secret buried for over
5,000 years, the remains of ancient giants. Standing tall at 1.9 to 2.1 meters, these
colossal figures sparked a wave of excitement, hinting at a forgotten era when giants roamed
the earth. The Jiajia Archaeological Site, a representative relic of the Danke culture,
brought forth skeletons with heights reaching an astounding 2.32 meters.
But were these giant skeletons truly the descendants of the legendary Great People's
Nation spoken of in ancient texts? Today, join me on an adventure into the heart of
ancient Chinese civilization, exploring the mesmerizing stories surrounding the Great
People's Nation. Our journey starts from the Daoist classic Vlisi Tangwen, where a mythical
land called Guishu beckons. In a location to the east of the Bohai Sea, countless millions
of miles away, there is an enormous trench called Guishu. It is a vast chasm without a bottom.
Waters from the eight directions of the earth's surface, the eight corners of the sky, and even
the flowing currents of the Milky Way converge there. Strangely, the water in Guishu either
increases nor decreases, despite the constant flow from various sources.
It sounds a bit like the Mariana Trench, doesn't it? A research team from the University of
Washington has discovered that the Mariana Trench is constantly ingesting seawater,
with a staggering 3 billion tons of water being transported to the earth's steepest point each
year. Surprisingly, despite this substantial movement, the sea level remains neither
decreasing nor rising. Instead, it has maintained a consistent and stable state. Picture an immense
chasm where waters from the ends of the earth converge, five majestic mountains called the
Dayu, Yuanjiao, Fanghu, Yingzhou, and Dapeng lie afloating above, and palaces made of gold and
silver adorning their summits. This enchanted realm was home to immortal beings who could
traverse great distances in the blink of an eye. However, the roots of the five mountains are not
connected, they float on Guishu and move up and down with the tide, unable to stabilize.
The immortals and saints were troubled by this, and they reported it to the Heavenly Emperor.
Fearing that the five mountains might drift to the distant western polar region, leaving the
multitude of immortals and saints without a dwelling, the Heavenly Emperor issued a command
to Yucheng, the sea and wind god, to dispatch fifteen giant tortoises to carry the mountains.
These fifteen giant tortoises were organized into three shifts, rotating every 60,000 years.
Only then did the five mountains stabilize. After an era of undisturbed tranquility, the serenity
of the Guishu was interrupted by the sudden arrival of a giant from the Dragon Bow Country.
The Dragon Bow Country is located 90,000 miles north of Kunlun Mountain. The giant, astonishingly,
reached the vicinity of the five mountains with just a few strides. There, he effortlessly
captured six giant turtles, later employing their bones for divination upon his return.
Without the six giant tortoises, the Dayu and Yuanjiao mountains drifted far north,
eventually submerging into the sea. This upheaval caused the dispersion of immortals and saints.
Infuriated by this, the Heavenly Emperor took decisive action, progressively diminishing the
Dragon Bow Country's land area. Simultaneously, the inhabitants were subject to a reduction in size,
dwindling them into shorter figures. By the time of Fuxi and Shennong, the people of that country
were still dozens of yards tall. In Chinese mythology, tales of the three immortal mountains,
Fenghu, Yingzhou, and Penglai, are a recurring theme. Qin Shi Huang was so fascinated by these
stories that he dispatched Su Fu on an expedition to locate them, driven by the quest for the
elusive elixir of immortality. Legend has it that Su Fu eventually reached Japan, leading one to
wonder if Mount Fuji crossed his mind as the fabled Penglai. However, since the era of Emperor
Zhuangzi, who closed the passage between the human and celestial realms, these immortal mountains
have vanished from sight. As mentioned earlier, Fuxi, the ancestor of Chinese culture, was born
to a mother who conceived by stepping on the footprints of a giant from Lei Zai. The Shanhai
Jing, an ancient book, also describes the great people's nation, as well as the giants Kuafu,
Lei Zai clan, and Fangfeng clan. Fast forward to the spring and autumn period, where historical
records like Kongzi Jiayu and the Grand Records of Historian recount the unearthing of a colossal
bone in Kuaiji City. It was too large to fit on a carriage. Confucius identifies it as belonging
to the Fangfeng clan, guardians of Fingyu Mountain. Legends speak of giants from Fangfeng
clan standing 30 yards tall. He further explained, the Fangfeng clans guarded the Fingyu Mountain.
During the Xia dynasty, they were called Fangfeng clan, during the Shang dynasty, they were called
the Wangmeng clan, during the Zhou dynasty, they were called the Changdi clan, and now they are
called the great people's nation. He mentioned that the height of the giants was approximately
30 yards. In the Shanhai Jing, it states, Penglai Mountain is in the sea, and the market of the
great people is in the sea. Today, the giant skeleton found in Jiajia, Shandong, could very
well be the descendants of the ancient great people's nation. Not only in China, but also in
ancient civilizations worldwide, there are descriptions of giants. For example, in ancient
Greek mythology, Uranus, the god of the sky, and Gaia, the mother of the earth, gave birth to the
titans and titanesses. In Greek mythology, the giants fought against Zeus and the Olympian gods,
ultimately being annihilated. In Hindu mythology, the Daityas, a clan of giants,
were part of the Asura race, opposing the Edifiers. In the end, the entire Asura race
was annihilated by the gods. Descriptions of giants are not unique to one culture,
and various civilizations around the world have discovered numerous giant remains.
It seems that giants may indeed have existed in different regions of the world. If so,
many mysteries around the world, such as the Egyptian pyramids and the British Giant's Causeway,
might be attributed to giants. There is a book called Forbidden Knowledge, by Jason Quitt,
who claims to have past life memories and the ability to astral project since childhood. In
the book, he mentions traveling back in time and discovering that the Egyptian pyramids were not
built by ancient Egyptians, the history is much older, and they were not used as tombs. Quitt
also claims to have seen prehistoric giants and dinosaurs, with giants riding dinosaurs like
horses. Are dinosaurs the mounts of giants? This revelation might reshape our understanding of the
world. Well, that concludes today's discussion. Don't forget to subscribe, like, and share.
See you in the next episode.
