VIETNAM NIGHTLIFE (DA NANG) 🇻🇳 I AM SHOCKED! IS DA NANG THE BEST CITY IN VIETNAM?

Welcome back guys! Today we will spend a day together in Da Nang. Is Da Nang the best city in Vietnam? Well, we'll discover it together today. We'll begin the day by renting a scooter for my friend Alex, I will show you how much it costs to rent a scooter in Da Nang, and then we will head to a beautiful viewpoint where there is also the biggest Lady Buddha in Vietnam. It's a spectacular place that I highly recommend you if you come to Da Nang. And then we'll flow into the evening in Da Nang because the night time is the best time in Da Nang. Everybody comes out, there is like a big party, a lot of lights, a lot of fun going on. And we are so lucky because this is the weekend and at 9 pm there is the Dragon Bridge that will spit fire. So we will go there and I will show you how unique this experience is. We will also hang out at the market near the Dragon Bridge and you will see how many people. It's extremely busy and such a beautiful atmosphere. So we will spend a full day together and I will try to give you a full overview of Da Nang. So sit back, relax and enjoy this video. The price also includes breakfast, so let's go downstairs and check out the breakfast and then we'll go to rent the scooter for Alex. We are renting a scooter for my friend Alex, we found this shop, they rent a bicycle and also all this scooter here. Let's check out the price, it looks pretty nice. Not bad, 150 000 Vietnamese Dong per day, not bad. This looks pretty new as well. It's tricky because in Vietnam the hotel always keeps your passport when you check in and then they give it back to you when you check out and also to rent the scooter they want your passport, but this is one of the only shops in Da Nang that actually don't ask for passport. Alex just gave them like an ID, just a regular ID from Europe and they accept it, so that's that's pretty good and no deposit, nothing. Yeah, myself I don't know right now, it's not many on YouTube. And what is most of the customers, what nationality? Korea. China no now? I don't know. It's interesting because my friend Alex, he lived here in Da Nang during the pandemic in 2020, he lived here for like almost six months, so it's fascinating to be here with him because he tells me like everything, how it was before and how it is now. So for example this rental shop was not here before, it was a big massage shop and now it went bankrupt and they opened this rental shop. As well as like many restaurants, many bars, unfortunately they shut down after 2020. Hello. Hello, how are you? Good, how are you? I'm fine, thank you. Very good, have a nice day. And it's interesting because he was here in the middle of the pandemic and also in the middle of the lockdown and he said that it was almost more lively than now, so now he says like wow, it's shocking, it's like really really quiet. Many restaurants, many shops, many massage, many many businesses, unfortunately they shut down now. So yeah, Da Nang definitely like got a big hit from this pandemic. It has been hit pretty pretty hard. Oh, this gear? It's a nice bike, nice scooter. All right, now that we rented the scooter, let's go to the biggest lady Buddha in Vietnam. It's a spectacular road, a beautiful view, and a very unique place. Let's go. Look at this view from this cliff. It's so beautiful. Da Nang, it's really really nice. And also the road, this road, it's so much fun. It's beautiful right next to the coast. All right guys, we just made it to the Lady Buddha here in Da Nang. It's on a beautiful hill and this place, it's truly magical. It's really amazing. The only problem is that it's extremely hot. You cannot imagine how hot and humid it is. The Lady Buddha's height is 67 meters and the lotus diameter is 35 meters. The eyes of the Lady Buddha, they look down while facing the sea and she's holding a bottle of holy water. And it's super fascinating because this is the tallest Buddha statue in the entire country of Vietnam. All right guys, let's skip to the nightlife now because that's the best part in Da Nang. At 9 p.m we have an appointment at the Dragon Bridge because that's the time where the dragon is gonna spit the fire and right after that is gonna spit the water. So let's check it out together. Look at this swimming pool, so long. So the dragons spit the fire every Saturday and Sunday at 9 p.m and for this event there is a big market, a lot of people come near the bridge, there is a great atmosphere, many things going on, it gets extremely busy. But during the summer time, which is June, July and August, Da Nang is having a summer festival. It's called Da Nang Summer Festival 2022 and they have a bunch of different events in different areas of the city and on Saturday and Sunday evening around 7 p.m they have this carnival parade where basically the staff from the Bana Hills, they come down to Da Nang and they do this beautiful performance, they dance, it's like a proper carnival show, which was totally unexpected for us. We didn't know that that was coming so we just stumbled into it and it was a blast and it was beautiful man and so much energy. Have a look. Where are you from? Italy. Wow guys this is amazing, I didn't expect this at all. We were actually just driving around Da Nang and then we saw this massive show, we came here and we discovered that this is the promotion of the Bana Hills, which we will go there tomorrow and what is very interesting is that all of the dancers and all of the staff, they're all foreigners and different nationalities and they dance, such a great show and great atmosphere. Oh man what a show, like so much energy and all the dancers, they were like super excited and also all of them like very attractive, amazing amazing show. But we are running late because the dragon is gonna spit the fire very soon, so let's go. Also in this case, I'm sorry guys, I lost some videos because I also recorded the part where the dragon spit the water, which is right after the fire, but unfortunately I lost those videos. But it's extremely funny because the dragon basically spit water all over the crowd of people and everybody's screaming, everybody is running away, such a funny and beautiful atmosphere.
