It's a December morning where the weather is more pleasant than usual in winter.
It's a little chilly when I open the window, but it's not unbearable.
The frequency of watering plants should be adjusted to the climate.
I put on my favorite music and put away the dishes I couldn't wash last night.
Next year, I would like to reduce "Let's do it tomorrow..." more.
In this morning, I sort out the ingredients that have been in the fridge for a while.
Things I bought and saved up when they were on sale at the supermarket.
First, let's start with a can of tuna and cucumber dressed with a refreshing taste.
Sprinkle about 1/4 teaspoon of salt
Mix well, let it sit for a while, and squeeze out the water.
I bought a lot of canned tuna because it was cheap.
Add the tuna along with the oil.
1 tablespoon ponzu vinegar
Add 1 tablespoon of soy sauce and mix to complete.
Next, I would like to make miso soup with chicken dumplings and cabbage.
Cut the cabbage into bite-sized pieces
I also thinly slice the core of the cabbage and add it in.
While the water is heating up, make the chicken dumplings.
1 tablespoon sake
1/4 teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon potato starch
1/2 teaspoon grated ginger
Mix until it becomes sticky.
Put the Kayanosha broth in a pot.
When it boils, roll the meatballs into bite-sized pieces with a spoon and add them to the pot.
It’s totally okay if you can’t make it perfectly round ◎
Cover with a lid and simmer on low heat for about 5 minutes.
Remove the broth pack and add the cabbage.
Cover and simmer for another 2-3 minutes.
In the meantime, one more dish.
Make easy Simmered Root Vegetables with Chicken using only 3 ingredients.
Cut carrots into bite-sized pieces
Cut 200g of lotus root into bite-sized pieces.
Soak them in water.
After spreading an appropriate amount of sesame oil, brown the chicken thighs cut into bite-size pieces.
I prefer to grill the chicken skin to a crisp.
Add all the cut vegetables
1/2 tablespoon sugar
1 tablespoon sake, 2 tablespoons mirin
water 150cc
2 tablespoons soy sauce
After seasoning, toss to coat everything.
Boil for about 10 minutes.
I often use "Koji Bijin" for miso in miso soup.
This miso is delicious even without using a broth pack.
I'll have a taste.
Yeah, it's good!
Put the cooked rice in a bowl
Mix the drained canned tuna with the rice as well.
Add 1 tablespoon salted kelp into rice
1 tablespoon noodle soup base
1 tablespoon sesame seeds
1 teaspoon sesame oil
Mix roughly.
Wet my palms with water and make a rice ball ◎
Pickle the shiso leaves with a little salt and use that to wrap them.
The last side dish is the familiar Japanese omelette.
1 teaspoon each of noodle soup base, soy sauce, and sweet sake.
Add 10cc of water and mix.
Put a good amount of sesame oil in a frying pan.
Layer the eggs like a mille-feuille.
Hmmm...not my best work today. LOL!
How does it taste?
It tastes good!
Cucumber salad made in larger quantities is placed in MUJI storage containers for dinner.
The Simmered Root Vegetables with Chicken also looked delicious.
A well-balanced breakfast plate with vegetables, protein and color is completed.
The drink is burdock tea recommended by my bodywork therapist.
It is rich in dietary fiber and seems to help maintain the intestinal environment.
Wow~! It's a rice ball!
I like rice ball!
Looks delicious
Let’s eat!
It's burdock tea
Burdock tea is delicious!
Looks like it would go well with rice
Let’s eat!
Let’s eat!
delicious!
delicious?
Yeah!
it was good
Oh, tuna?
Yeah!
Tuna and salted kelp
Delicious~!
Cucumbers are also delicious
Tuna is being used a lot.
There were so many cans of tuna.
Delicious hmm
goes well with rice
Yeah
The perilla leaves smell nice.
I agree
It's refreshing.
I tried using it instead of seaweed.
Yeah
Did you buy meatballs?
No, by myself
Did you knead it?
delicious
After all, Japanese food is the best.
I couldn't make Japanese omelette very well. how is it?
No problem, it's delicious
Really?
Sure
Very tasty.
it was good
The weather is nice today
Yes, it is.
It doesn't feel like December at all.
Yeah
This room is warm.
I feel a little lonely
Oh so?
Usually, it is so cold in the winter that we can't go outside without wearing down!
Yeah
Midwinter?
If the winter isn't cold, I get worried.
You mean you don't feel the season?
I was wondering if the earth is okay...
That's a big story.
Well, I understand that, but.. sure
That was a delicious meal
Thank you
It was delicious.
it's good
After the meal, make a cup of organic coffee to accompany my morning activities.
Coffee carefully made for myself fills my heart.
Seasonal phone wallpaper that I make with my viewers,
The theme of this winter illustration is "snow" and "sweets"
I'll finish it by tonight, so please look forward to it!
I had a business meeting and did a little shopping.
Christmas is almost here.
I bought flowers and greens in the perfect colors for this time of year.
A small, discreet, cute spray rose.
It's like a strawberry shortcake.
It looks like Christmas and makes the table look festive.
I found a cake shop near a flower shop and bought it on impulse.
This strawberry tart caught my eye. lol
I put my husband's portion in the fridge for a small surprise later.
H&F BELX's non-caffeinated tea.
I'm going to try a hazelnut flavor that would go well with the cake.
I wondered if I should eat with my husband at night...but
I can't resist my appetite and eat it. lol
Yeah! Too delicious!
I ate too much on my trip to Kyoto and need to curb my appetite...but
My favorite “Let’s do it tomorrow” happened again…
Sweets are nourishment for the soul, so balance is important, right? LOL!
I am reading "The House of Misery on Utsukushigaoka" by Ms. Sonoko Machida.
"No one else decides whether I am unhappy or not."
Attracted by such a summary statement, I picked up the book and read it without losing track of time.
I was engrossed in reading a book and was returning work emails, but now it's already time.
The first dish to be prepared is spinach and salmon in miso cream.
Cut the spinach into 4cm wide pieces, and thinly slice the onion.
Cut off the roots of the shimeji mushrooms and break them into bite-sized pieces.
Oops,
I dropped it...
Wash it thoroughly with water and it will be fine... Tears
Boil the spinach in a pot or frying pan until wilted.
When it softens, return it to the colander and drain the water.
Cut the deboned salmon into thirds and sift through flour.
Season with salt and pepper.
Place 10 g butter in a frying pan.
Grill the salmon until the surface changes color.
Clean it with kitchen paper and grind 10g of butter again.
Stir-fry the onions and shimeji mushrooms with salt and pepper.
Sprinkle 1 tablespoon of soft flour and stir-fry, then add 300 cc of milk and 1 tablespoon of miso.
Mix well.
Add the spinach and salmon back in and mix with the sauce.
It looks delicious.
I have stored leftover lotus roots from breakfast in a mixture of 1 part vinegar and 9 parts water.
What I make with this lotus root is lotus root with plum teriyaki.
Sift the potato starch on both sides of the lotus root.
Finely chop the crunchy plums.
The crunchy plums would be a nice accent!
To increase the flavor of the plums, I also used some leftover dried plums.
Put 200g of ground chicken in a bowl
Add 1 tablespoon of potato starch, 1 tablespoon of sake, and a pinch of salt and pepper and mix.
Place the meatballs evenly on half the lotus root.
The key is to push it into the hole of the lotus root.
Layer the remaining lotus roots.
Heat sesame oil and place on a frying pan heated over medium heat.
Cover and simmer over low heat until the meat is cooked through.
Meanwhile, shred the remaining shiso leaves (about 8 leaves).
Cook the other side until browned.
Complete with a sauce made by mixing sweet sake, 1 tablespoon each of water, and 1/2 tablespoon of soy sauce.
Tomatoes were also ripening, so I would use them.
I am making a ponzu salad with tomatoes and whitebait.
1 tablespoon each of ponzu sauce and soy sauce, 1/3 teaspoon of grated garlic,
Add 1/2 tablespoon of sesame oil and appropriate amount of sesame seeds.
Sprinkle with desired amount of whitebait
Finally, sprinkle chopped shiso leaves over the mixture and mix.
Serve lotus root scissors and plum teriyaki on a plate.
Sprinkle shiso leaves here as well to complete the dish.
I made a lot today, so I don't have to worry about tomorrow's breakfast.
Everything looks delicious.
Wow, it looks great!
The colors are beautiful too...
It's been a while since I've had a beer.

Looking at the illustration of the cake, he seems like he can't eat enough. lol
He seems happy with his stomach full and goes to take a bath.
I will be putting the final touches on the illustration.
I've had many requests to draw a "Christmas tree", but
I chose a motif that can be used for a long time this winter, even after Christmas is over.
Add snowflakes to cupcakes decorated with strawberries.
All I can do is make things, so I hope that someone will be happy with my works.
It is the fuel for my creative activities.
Anyone can download this wallpaper.
