I traveled to Palang Island in the eastern part of Indonesia to observe the cultivation of Kappaphycus alvarezii (or Cottonii) seaweed, the main source of kappa-carrageenan.
Carrageenan is a controversial food additive. It is most commonly used in food as a thickener or stabilizer.
Avoiding carrageenan is probably as simple as making your own nut milk or coconut milk, and I have posted many video recipes on various natural plant-based milks. So I would encourage you to give that a shot.
Do you want to eat it or tie it?
Tie it.
If it's too long, cut it?
Cut it.
Cut it evenly.
Oh, you mean the size has to be the same?
Yes.
Tie it until it's full.
Oh, it's going to shrink.
Take it from here.
It's going to be a hole.
