CAMPING WITH OZ RV TRAVEL SHOW @ Big Crystal Creek Camping in QUEENSLAND

Feelings, it's like I can't walk on the ceiling, oh yeah Got me dreaming, dreaming in colors I never dreamed in, oh yeah I let you in deeper than I let anyone else before Fell in love with my broken pieces Took them all and made them yours Didn't know what my heart beat needed Skipping up, no I can't keep score When I lose my breath, boy you got me breathing, oh Every little thing you do Every time you hold me, take me higher, higher Every little thing you do Every time you hold me, take me higher If you're going up to Crystal Creek, the big waterfalls On the way up here, there's another campsite that I came across Mate, this place is pretty cheap, it's only around $7 a night And a family's around $28 Look, you have to pre-book online first It's a government website, it's a national parks campsite There is a little box here, if you haven't got a tag Put it on your car so people can see it You put all the information on there and Bob's your uncle, go and park Or if not, print the certificate out and put it on your windscreen And when you do, so if the rangers do come around, they know you have paid Because the rangers do come around here because it's a national parks Now, straight away, seeing how it's a national parks Guys, no dogs allowed, sorry guys If you've got a dog, you can't bring it in here Look, all national parks, they say they were going to change about bringing dogs in But at the moment, no dogs allowed in national parks So all you dog lovers out there, sad to say you've got to give this one a miss But this one's a not too bad campsite I'll give you a quick look at it It's got toilets and it's got showers and everything For 7 bucks, now that's cheap guys And there's camping facilities, there's barbecues, there's undercover picnic areas And also the big crystal creek up the road Let's have a quick look at the campsite guys Alrighty-o, duty groovers Look, here's one of the campsites here Look, they're not too bad campsites You get your fire ring, the fires are permitted here, believe it or not But only in a fire pit or the fire ring they provide for you Most of these campsites, you're not going to get much solar Because you've got a lot of tree foliage over top of you and everything else Like this one behind me, there's a gut load of trees So you're going to get stuff or solar guys Unless you're doing what this guy's doing behind me He just puts a little solar out in the sun and runs it back to his bus A la peanut butter sandwiches, you've got power Right-o, let's keep going and have a look at this park a little bit more guys Right-o, just a few more campsites that are behind me Look, you can get a big RV in here, well, depends if you get that spot or not Looks like you have to get early to get the best spots But there is plenty of camping spots right behind me And there's some more up near the toilet areas Let's go have a look at the toilets anyway guys Look, they're not too bad Look, they don't have any paper towel, they don't have any hand wash They're only cold showers, but they're clean They've got toilet paper and everything else Look, out of five, they're only going to give us three Look, they're a great looking toilet They've even got a wheelchair access toilet Which is a plus in my books Good on you, National Parks Reception Two bars if you're lucky, 4G Sometimes it goes down to three bars, down to 3G Depends where you are in the park If you're down near the main road, you'll get a little bit But guess what's behind me? Telstra free calls, guys If you have a look on here, it says free national calls all around Australia Good on you, Telstra Here's one of the campsites again here Look, it is a pretty decent sized campsite You'll have to probably swindle your van to get it in here But I've been looking, every campsite has got a fire pit You've just got to find some wood to burn No worries guys, let's keep going with the park When you're at the caravan park, well actually When you're at the camping site There's a sign that says Paradise Waterhole 100 metres Do yourself a favour, grab your towel, get down there Have a look, it is fantastic Let's go down there and I'll show you what it's like, guys They've got a little bit of a waterhole that you can actually swim in I've been talking to a couple of locals and they were saying It is freezing here and there at the moment But if you've got big nuts, you'll be laughing Mate, it is a very nice pool around here Look, no worries about crocodiles around here Because it is too cold for them But the swimming hole is fantastic Do yourself a favour, when you're down here Grab your mum, grab your dad, grab whoever you want Bring your towel down, sunbake on the actual rock itself If not, go for a dip At the moment it's a little bit chilly today But I guarantee when this is summer This will be the talk of the town Dopey, dopey, glampers Righto, when you get to the car park Which is just behind me there And more parking here So there's ample spaces to park around here Look, there's no camping up here There is a few camp spots Which are on the same road to get here Righto, anyway You go through the gates Go down a bit of a causeway down there Where the creek actually goes over Underneath the roadway You go up top of the hill And then you'll come to a sign that says Rock slides 100 metres to your left Just follow that And it takes you to the rock slides, mate It's a treat for you guys You wait till you see this place Beautiful Righto, just walk along this same track That I'm walking along now Around 100 metres Until you get to a set of stairs You've got to be very careful on these stairs They're very slippery and very steep, guys No worries We're at a place called Crystal Creek What a place to come visit Here it is on the map Just follow that There is a bit of a walk to get in here But look at it here behind me What a fantastic place to take a dip Mate, the water's a bit chilly at the moment But a bit of a walk down the creek But this little bit of a waterfall And this so clear No wonder it's called Crystal Creek Because it is so crystal You can see the bottom Mate, do yourself a favour Come up here See you soon, guys What is also joined to the actual campsite Is a picnic area Which is fantastic You've got undercover cooking facilities Which is a bonus in my book Because if it's raining And you don't have enough power to cook inside your van Come out here and cook Mate, it's a pretty big area The area I'm in at the moment is only a day area You've got ample places to park You've got to watch out for the wildlife They might actually eat you No, you just turn around and say Kentucky Fried Chicken to them They'll run away When you get here There is plenty of bushwalks That you can actually walk along the creek Crystal Creek And it is a magnificent creek, guys But there is plenty of places to eat And there's plenty of places to cook, guys And plenty of places to park Righto, guys They've even got water here Now look, the water is non-potable There is a sign on this water that says No drinking Because if you drink it, you might go You never know But look, there is water here You can do your dishes I don't know, do your clothes Whatever you want with that water But it's advisable not to drink Righto, guys I hope you like the big crystal The mouthful of this one Big Crystal Creek Camping Area Say that fast ten times and see how you go But anyway, look The website again is on the bottom Go on the website Book whatever you need to book Come in here Look, it's first in best dress here I found out Look, you don't pick your sites Just turn up Get the best site you possibly can I will look online to see How long you can actually stay here In a month But I'm assuming it's a little while anyway But look, the information is down the bottom So, I can Righto, guys I hope you like Big Crystal Creek Camping Area If you like the video Give us a thumbs up Or if not, thumbs down Totally in your hands And guys Don't forget to turn the notifications on And guys You should have done this At the beginning of the videos Hit that subscribe button No worries, Clampers I'll talk to you soon Have a great weekend
