Hello, everyone. This is our first live video ever. Welcome back. Welcome back. We're the 3 Musketeers. Welcome to our first live ever. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. What are we doing today? Quick run through. It'll be a singing competition. We're going to have 3 songs prepared. You're going to tell us which songs we're going to sing. You're going to pick who sings what. We're going to do a live Q&A with you guys. We also prepared a little bit of a trivia. Whoever answers the most questions will win a prize. It's a 3 Musketeers trivia. You must have watched a lot of 3M videos in order to win. You'll be a real fan. Should we go straight into it? Yes. We're going to go straight into singing. First of all, the first song we have prepared is Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer. Which is the hardest one. Who do you want to see sing Rudolph? Jisung, Will, or Sam? Let us know in the comments right now. Jisung is the best at singing. Will is second best. Don't pick me for the song. Please do not pick Sam. There are 50 people here. Thank you for joining. Will, Sam. I see Sam. 50 people? Let's see which name we get the most of. There's a lot of Will going on here. Jaejoo said Sam. Sam. You see that? Who said no Sam? Will never heard him sing. I think there's a lot of Will going on here. Tung Tran is really excited for Sam Poo. Thank you Tung Tran. Where's Jisung? It's between us two. Between us two. Between us two. Real quick. I think your turn. Winner sing or loser sing? Loser sing. Rock, paper, scissors, and go. Rock, paper, scissors, shoot. Sam will now sing Rudolph. It's a very short 30 second clip. Nothing too hard. Everybody please cheer for Sam right now. He's about to sing. Guys I can't do this. If you guys join too late, next time make sure you join earlier so you can hear Sam sing. Ready? This is too hard. Let's cue the music. No, no, no. Keep going man. Music starting. All of the others are laughing talking. They never meant for Rudolph to end in any way. Here it goes. That's it. Sam you just sang in front of 70 people. That's like a concert. Live concert. What do you guys think? Let us know in the comments what you guys think. You are doing well Sam. Sam you are doing well. Someone said Jiayou Sam. You got this. Let's go on to our second song. What is the second song? Jingle bells. Jingle all the way. Now one of us two has to sing. It's also a competition. At the very end, after all three of us sing, you have to let us know who is the best singer, who is the second best, and who is the third place. Who do you want to see sing Jingle Bells? Someone said My Ears Hurt. Oh My Ears Hurt. Oh I'm sorry. Someone said Sam again. Sam again. I see Jisung. Will go. Let's see whose name shows up a little bit more here. I see two Will. It's pretty even. Will and Jisung. Jisung. I think it's like balance. Let's see. Rina's son and whoever comes up next, we'll sing it. I'll sing it. Grace has said my name a few times. You'll sing the last one, don't worry. Ready? Cue the music. Dashing through the snow In a one horse open sleigh Over fields we go Laughing all the way Bells on bob tails ring Making spirits bright What fun it is to ride And sing a sleighing song tonight Oh Jingle Bells Jingle Bells Jingle all the way Oh what fun it is to ride In a one horse open sleigh Hey Jingle That was really good. It's okay. Have you been practicing? We practiced a little bit to be honest. But I had a very salty meal. I had chicken and some soft tofu soup. It was very spicy. My voice was kind of forced from that. It had a lot of phlegm. We did well. We wish you a Merry Christmas. Okay, Jisung. Adrian Bello, your singing has moved me. Thank you very much. Thank you for the kind words. Next is going to be Jisung. Jisung, you're going to be singing Merry Christmas. I think it's We wish you a Merry Christmas. Okay, let's go. I'm going to drink some. We wish you a Merry Christmas. And a Happy New Year. Good tidings we bring To you and your kin. We wish you a Merry Christmas. And a Happy New Year. Happy New Year. Merry Christmas. This is where K-pop comes from. Korea. Good job singing. Why is everyone so good at singing? Except me. I think there's a little bit of lag when we sing between the music and our voices. Jisung wins hands down. Peter Evans. I knew it. So now, let's move on. You guys vote for your favorite singer. Who's number one? Let us know in the comments below. Let's see. I think Jisung did very well. Jisung is just the best. No doubt. Will was pretty good though. And I was better. Sam Pooh was really great. Alright. Honestly, I think Jisung has the most votes. Sam, A for effort. Lisa Wong. Thank you, Lisa. Sam appreciates that, I'm sure. Jisung is secretly a famous K-pop singer in Korea. That is true. How did you know that? Secret revealed. I think Jisung is the best, hands down. Can we get an encore of Jisung singing that in Korean? I don't know. I think we can move on. We also have 100 people live with us now. 100 people, that is awesome. Thank you. For our first live, that is actually a lot. Alright, let's move on to our next segment. We're going to have some live Q&As from you guys. If you guys have any questions about the three musketeers or about Shin Yoon, you can post them down below and we'll take a look at your comments. We've also prepared some comments from you guys that we've already asked. From community posts. I think we can start with this one right here. This one is from Edsy Albert. Since you all have such busy schedules, do you get to celebrate holidays during tour? Alright, who wants to answer this? Let's say 1, 2, 3. Yes or no? Yes, the answer is yes. We do get to celebrate holidays on tour but it really depends on the schedule. For example, New Year's is coming up. Do we have a performance on New Year's Day? I'm not sure, but usually we do. Sometimes we do. If we do have a performance on New Year's Day, we'll have a small celebration either before or after. We definitely do celebrate holidays while performing. What do you do for celebrating? We usually have a small get-together. We play some party games and prepare some food. A conference room. Any other questions? Any live questions? Are you a morning person or a night owl? Answer. I'm a morning person. He's a night owl. And you're a mix. I'm like a mix. Oh my goodness. This is a good balance between the three of us. I used to room with Jisung and I wake up really early and he goes to sleep really late. So when Jisung goes to sleep is when Sam wakes up. Not that bad. Any other questions? Will you still be dancing at 40? That's a good question. There's a dancer in our group who's still dancing and he's 40. I'm very inspired by him. He's a great dancer. Still going strong. Keep it up. I don't know if I can still dance at 40. I'll try my best. Coffee or hot chocolate? Right now we're drinking hot chocolate but I like drinking coffee actually. Right now it's New York time and it is night time so we're drinking hot chocolate. Hot chocolate at night time and coffee in the morning. Any other questions? Chicken nuggets or fries? This is hard. I'll say fries. I like McDonald's fries to be honest. McDonald's fries are really good. I used to like chicken nuggets until I heard that they kind of make them the best quality stuff. So then I'm back to fries. But it feels like flavored fries. Any other questions that we have? Coffee or bubble tea? Bubble tea. Hands down. No questions. Iced latte. Coffee. I like bubble tea. Do you like cooking? What food do you like to cook? Sam cooks all the time. Every week he's cooking some crazy stuff. Tell us about your cooking. I don't really cook. I just make steak. Barbecue steak. On a charcoal grill. It's still cooking. But now I'm smoking steak now. What's going on? It's just a little bit lagging. Now I'm smoking the steak which is nice because it cooks evenly and I sear it afterwards. Obviously he doesn't cook. He doesn't know what he's talking about. I do a little bit of cooking sometimes when I have time. I like to just watch some tutorials online like Chinese dishes. But I like eating noodles a lot. My dad is a chef. So he cooks and I just watch. And Jisung cooks as well. Shin ramen. Korean instant ramen. Cooked rice. Microwaved rice. Good cook. It was really nice to learn how to cook. Another question. What is your favorite dance you've done? For me it has to be Mongolian because it just feels so free like you're on the plains of Mongolia dancing. Like as a main role or just dance? Just dance. I think in general. Ethnic dances. Tibetan. I enjoy Mongolian dance. Mongolian dance is very fun. They're very carefree. It's just very fun dance. Very manly dance. Any other questions? Favorite colors. Blue. See? Blue. I like to wear white a lot actually. Brighter colors. And then for cars, I like white paint on cars. Jisung is great. Just kidding. My favorite color? Blue. Okay. What is your favorite place to perform? This is a hard one. Favorite place? Maybe like where is it? It's good to enjoy a bit. Wherever you perform, it's going to be... Jisung's favorite is Mexico, I know. No. It's not saying that Mexico is bad. My favorite was... Actually, I really love Rome. Rome. It's a very beautiful city. Before, I used to think that going to see the architecture and stuff, I was like, you can search it on Google. Why do you have to go there and see? But when I went to Rome, I was actually amazed by those. Very nice. Actually, we performed in Florence a few years ago. Italy is actually really nice for performing and the people there love Shen Yun. That's for one. Florence is kind of small. It's not too big, but there's so much culture and history there. I went there for vacation once and I was exploring Florence. There's so much you can see and do there. Great art. And there's also so much food. I love Italian food. For me, it would be Vancouver because we kind of go there often. But Vancouver has the sea, has mountains, and has forests. It's really beautiful. Also, there's really good Asian food there because there's a huge Asian community. After you perform, you can just walk around and have really good food. I love Vancouver. There's a lot of questions coming in. Which one should we pick? What's your favorite bread and bakery? Baguette. I like baguette. I love Korean bread a lot. There's a lot of good dessert in Korean bread. Tulle Jove. Do you know that the Paris baguette is actually Korean? Yes, Paris baguette is Korean. Why is it not Korean baguette? Let's do some rapid fire questions. What's your favorite holiday dish? What is a holiday dish? I was kind of confused about this. Eggnog? I eat hotpot on holidays so that's my favorite holiday dish. Does that count? Popcorn because we have it here. Anything good. Anything tastes good. Can Falun Gong practitioners make friends with outsiders? This is prohibited. Of course you can make friends with anyone you want. I think it's kind of interesting that people actually ask this kind of question. We're not like religion. We're like a spiritual belief. Even for religious people, to Christians, if you ask can you make friends who are not Christians, it sounds a little bit ridiculous. You can make friends with anyone you want. Are you guys touring together this season? Yes, we are. We've been in the same company touring together for a few years now. How many years has it been? Six years. So together, still, the Three Musketeers, all for one and one for all. Learn how to sing. Okay, so next year, Sam will sing again during Christmas and we'll see if he improves. He can take first place. I think I want to read more books. We're traveling a lot on the road and you're sleeping for most of the time but it might be good to read some books and do a little bit of learning. Losing weight. I started to feel my love handle coming up. As a dancer, I should stay fit. Jason, have a cookie. Have a cookie, Jason. It's night. Today, I just decided, from now on, for the next couple of weeks, I'm not going to eat snacks. And then I figured out that we had a recording. Okay, maybe start from tomorrow. Another question from Leo here. Hi, 3M. Aside from learning classical dance, you guys also learn about traditional painting, calligraphy, music, etc. Do you have online teaching for traditional art in Feitian? Online teaching? I think there is. This is something that they can learn? I don't think so. Not Feitian, but the... We have the Arts Proficiency Program. That's an online course where you can learn from training dancers. And we have a lot of instructors who are teaching classical Chinese dance online. But we currently don't have anything that's teaching painting, calligraphy, and music online. Not yet. I didn't read completely. I'm so sorry. Not yet, unfortunately. Not yet, Leo. Okay. Is Sam making any more movies? I'm having a bit of pressure from this actually, Jane, because I know that Chinese New Year is coming, and I'm actually supposed to make a movie for Chinese New Year. But right now I have no idea, so maybe you guys can write in the comments later on if there are any good ideas for movies, like short log lines, and I might make a movie about that. Sam Fu is definitely going to make a movie. He's just in the brainstorming process. I'm writing right now. What are the best foods you guys have tried on vacation and tour? That's such a hard question. What is really the best? What was the most memorable? Memorable. This is hard. Nothing comes to mind. One of the most memorable times was the one in Italy, again. Okay, this is an Italian story. The city was Genoa in Italy. That day we had a day off, so we decided to go out and explore Genoa. It's a coastal city. We went to this restaurant, and there was an old man in there. He was a chef. We walked in. These 10 guys in suits walked in. Then the guy was like, are you guys sure you want to eat here? Because it's very expensive, and it might not be to your taste. We're like, whoa, this is what they say at restaurants? They're trying to kick us out already? We decided to eat there, and then it was the best meal ever. He prepared truffle cream pasta with seafood. That was really, really good. He had another tomato-based pasta as well. A bunch of pasta. I just remember it was really tasty, and the chef was amazing. He was really nice. We finished everything, and he came out with more food. Do you think it's enough? Do you want more? We only paid 25 euros. My story about this is I missed it because we went to the restaurant together, and then the guy was like, are you sure you guys can pay? I was like, oh man, this feels kind of sketchy, this place. I don't know if it's going to be good, so I took a group of other guys, and we went to another place to get pizza. Pizza in Italy. We're like, pizza in Italy, right? What ended up happening is we went to a pizza store near the hotel, and they had cold pizza, and they heated it up for us, and we had that, and it was not good at all. I regretted it. We'll move on to our next question from Tianle Wang. Hello, 3M. What cleanser and moisturizer do you guys use, and what brand of dance pants do you recommend? Do you have a method against baggy dance pants, or do you guys just buy new ones every time? Cleanser and moisturizer. Anything. I just use random stuff. I don't really care about the brand, to be honest. I use CeraVe. It's not too expensive, but it's high quality. And then for dance pants, I think it depends on the material. I currently wear an Adidas one that I like. What brands do you guys use? Under Armour. Under Armour is very popular. Some of the pants don't stretch out too much. It depends on the material, so you have to find a good material and fit. I use Shining Dancer. Let's answer maybe one more question, and then we can go on to our trivia. I'm wondering what are your guys' favorite dance and characters of all the productions, and do you guys have any memorable backstage encounters? Jisung, do you want to start? Okay. My favorite dance was Awakening. It's called Awakening. It's about the guy's general. It started during the wartime. He killed so many people, and they suddenly felt like, okay, what am I doing right now? And then later on, he was guided by a Buddhist monk, and he went to the cave, and they started to sculpt a Buddhist statue and stuff. And then suddenly the earthquake started, and then it started, and then he was trying to protect the Bodhisattva statue. And later on, the Bodhisattva statue came alive, and later on, all the Buddha statues came alive. The reason why it's my favorite dance piece is that moment when all the statues came alive, it was like, oh, wow, that is so beautiful, and it's so fulfilling. So it's the most memorable and my favorite dance. So for me, any of the monk dances, I don't know if you guys have watched the show, but when we do monk dances, it's usually a comedy piece, and Jisung actually made a few. And then I love it because when you do it, you're just basically having fun on stage. It's mainly just acting, and then you can hear the audience laugh with you. It's a really fun experience. And to answer your question, do you have any funny backstage encounters? Okay, so for the monk dance that Jisung made, in that dance, I was actually playing a girl. It was just for fun, right? It was a funny piece. And then afterwards, I would wear a girly costume, and I would run through the backstage to try to get into the quick change, and then people would be watching me and just giving me an eye. But it was because I was doing it for the piece, so it was a pretty funny experience. What are your favorite characters? You have played a lot of characters. I've played too many characters. But your favorite, Monkey King? Monkey King is very memorable for me. It's probably what comes to mind first because I've played it so many times. Yeah, so Monkey King. We have it very often, and he goes through, what, 81 tribulations? In the story, so there's so much content that you could draw from to create a dance. So that's why we have so many Monkey King pieces in our performance. Okay, so shall we move on? Yes, trivia! Trivia time. Okay, we have 130 people with us now, so okay. Thank you for being here! Thank you! Alright, so for the trivia, we've prepared some 3M trivia, 3 Musketeers trivia, and we're going to see who answers first correctly, right? We'll try to keep track, and whoever answers correctly the most will win some prizes for Christmas. Prize, yes. Okay, so you guys see that. When did 3 Musketeers publish its first YouTube video? That is the first question. Let's see who answers first. When did 3 Musketeers publish its first YouTube video? Do you know the answer to that? I don't even know this! I kind of know. Ish. Let me look it up right now. No, no, no, I know. You have to look at the answer. Go get the correct answer. Date, date, date. Not just month and year. Date. Okay, okay. So that is... Did anyone say? Okay, so some people have gotten the year correctly. Yes. Oh, July. Okay, I see it. So not the July, but 2017. Nope. July. I think this is close. This is very close. Someone got it really... Okay. I think Coco K has the... Yeah, Coco K. Wow, good job, Coco K. July 3rd, 2021. I don't even know that. Okay, so we'll keep track of that, Coco K. Okay. One vote for Coco K. Okay, next question is... Let's see what the next question is. Who is the youngest among the 3 Musketeers? This is easy. Yeah, people should know this. No, not you. Stop pretending you're young. Who's the youngest? Uh... Grace got it first, but... Let's see this. Jisung. Grace? Grace? No. I think Grace knows. Grace knows. Grace knows. Yeah. Yes, I'm the youngest. Jisung got it first. Good job. I'm the 1997. What is Will's Chinese zodiac? Ooh. We've said this many times. Let's see. Let's see who's first. What is Will's Chinese zodiac? What is my Chinese zodiac, guys? Oh, wow. Someone got it first. No, no, no. That's wrong. It's not a chicken. Nope. It's a phoenix. Phoenix, right? That's my zodiac. Make it sound good. Chicken is right, though, right? No, rooster. It's the same thing. Okay, fine. We'll give it a silent cyclone. Chicken. Right, phoenix. Chicken. Tiger. Okay, that's a random monkey. I'm not just guessing at this point. Brickmine said monkey. I'm sorry. It's not a monkey. It is a phoenix. Okay, what is Sam's weight loss tip? Ooh. In our recent video, Sam gave some weight loss tips. Do you guys know what Sam's weight loss tip is? Is it one or two? I remember you said two things. Just one for this. Sam's weight loss tip is eating popcorn. Yes. This is to help you guys lose weight. Answers are in. I think Jane, right? Drink apple cider vinegar. That's right. It is drinking apple cider vinegar morning and night. These guys are really keeping on track, watching our videos. Who joined Shen Yun Performing Arts the earliest? Obviously, youngest person. Stop snack. Stop and snack. Stop snack. That means we should stop talking and eat some more snacks. William Lee. Is it Grace again? I'm sorry. I cannot pronounce your name properly. Huang Nguyen. You got it. William joined in what year? 2007. I think the next question already popped up. What Shilin dance piece did Jisung take part in choreography last season? Okay, there are two. Name one. Okay. Because I don't really remember what it was. Oh, man. You don't remember what you made? English title. Water Sleeves, Tommy Nguyen. Nope, that's not correct. Monkey King. You have to say the title. What is the title of the piece? Maybe no one really remembers the title. I think I should just say. Yeah, Monkey King. It is right. Correct. Sacred Quest through Vermillion Kingdom. That is really... No, I don't even really remember Broccoli. Jisung doesn't remember that and you remember that. That's awesome. That's the Monkey King piece, right? Jisung. Oh, my. Tianliu Wang is amazing. It's time to rest. This person has a program book. They're checking the program book. That is amazing that he knows the answer though. Okay. I mean, Jisung stopped eating snacks for this week. Alright. What would we do if we didn't become Shen Yun dancers? If we didn't become dancers? Oh, so fast. Chris knows this fast on the keyboard. Chris wants these presents. Alright. Who stopped dancing for Shen Yun for a period of time? Okay. Who stopped dancing for a period of time? So this answer, who stopped dancing for a period of time? Tommy. You got it. Tommy got it. Tommy knew it. Actually, the answer is both. So technically, it's Will because he made a video about it but I also stopped dancing for six months because my Achilles ruptured. Right. I stopped dancing for like a year and a half probably. Because I was teaching for that period of time and not performing. So the answer is Will. It was Tommy. We'll give it to him. Alright. Name the country that we performed at last season for the first time. First time. Shen Yun has been everywhere. Sam got it. Good job, Sam. Nice name. Name the country that our Shen Yun crew performed in for the first time ever last season. Dominican Republic. Alright. Sam didn't spell it correctly. So we'll give it to the next person underneath. I think it's KX. I see. Dominican Republic. I'm sorry, Sam. I would've wanted you to get it. We'll give it to the correct spelling. Spelling is important. Different meaning. Right? Different meaning. Alright. Name the main message from the short film Disconnect. Disconnect, right? That was like a blockbuster movie. You guys all watched that, right? So I get to decide this, right? What is the main message? Is Tech as Nice? What is the main message? You cannot say it. They already answered. Who was the first one? Don't use phone. Yes, Tommy. Don't use phone? This is a philosophical question. Let's get this interesting. Maybe some more answers. You're just going to pick Sam? I think that one's good. Don't always stay on your phone. Don't always stay on your phone is the core and the simplest answer, yes. So a lot of correct answers here. Phone can disconnect people. That's also very true. So which one? Sam can pick. You pick who has the best answer. So all these are great. Actually, I see the ones that Grace knows that people have two sides of them. I think that's true, too. But don't always stay on your phone. Okay, it has to be the Cui Yan Liang. Don't always stay on your phone because that's the initial motivation I had for making this film because I was on my phone a lot and people around me were on their phones a lot and I wanted to make a movie that people realize not to be on their phones. So there you go. Do we have more questions? Yes. Last question. The winner who answered the most questions correctly is Grace. Congratulations! Grace was on like she was really quick and really accurate. Okay, presents. Presents. Okay, presents. So Sam, can you introduce these presents? Yes. So this is a fan and this is a Christmas ornament. So this fan is called Sleeves of the Sway and it is a fan and it's pretty iconic. Let me take it out for you guys. This is what it looks like in packaging. That is a Shen Yun product. While he's opening up that, you can take a look at this. This is an ornament for your Christmas tree so you can decorate your Christmas tree or just hang it up anywhere and it looks very nice Grace, I hope you're in America because I've definitely tried shipping to somebody in England and it was kind of hard. But hopefully you're in America and let me show you this fan. That looks nice. Congratulations Grace, this will be sent to you and we will sign it. But Grace, can you please tell us if you want us to sign on the fan or maybe on the box. You can leave that in the comments, I'm sorry. Okay, and you can write anything. Any sentence you want. Please email us at 3musketeersusa.com so we can send you a gift as well. And you can also let us know if you want a special message on your gift. We can sign it. And I think that is it. Grace is laughing. That's it for our first live. We have 159 people on here, which is awesome. So I think our first live was very, very successful. Sadful, but it's very sad to just leave like this. Yeah. I still want to hear Jisung sing in Korean. So let us know if you guys want to see another live video from us. This is our first time trying it and figuring out how everything works. I think it went pretty well, but we can definitely try it again. If you guys like this kind of content, just hang out and chill with us and we'll eat some snacks and drink some hot chocolate while hanging out with you guys and answering some of your questions. Okay, so Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. See you guys next time. Come watch the show. Thanks for coming. Yeah. Okay, see you guys.
