A day of bikepacking in Argentina

so good morning and welcome to Argentina today is I think it's a
Monday or a Tuesday and I do have to go and back and get the camera every time I
just camped out in this barn which is nice decent warmer and we're heading out
a bit earlier in the morning while the snow is still hard because yesterday
yesterday it was quite warm so it was all wet snow and mud and like water mud
so it was very hard to keep going so I think I hope I can do at least three
four hours of biking before things get too soft and maybe then I'll be at lower
elevation so I won't have to walk in the mud or the snow but for now this is all
rideable this is the bike I don't know what I want to say this is how I pack I
really like the backpack in the back I just feels more stable than I mean you
have you have a small pair of panniers that would be good but this one I really
like big bag in the front to keep all that winter gear I mean I'm not really
ultra light but I think it works pretty well yeah so it's really cold I'm gonna
get moving because my toes are cold I might have to walk to warm them up at
some point but yeah so far looking good it's actually been a long time but
there's not a single cloud in the sky right now okay we're going now
I think this road I mean I don't know what's happening with the road but here
it's there's no road right here but I think it continues further down
drone kind of nice I mean the one right now has a lot of problems mostly software
stuff and the gimbal but when it manages to fly it's amazing I get some
awesome videos it's cold
yeah so now it's the gimbal is a bit off and the drone seems to be turning by
so normally how this works is I bike with one hand and control the drone with
the other and normally it works okay
and actually stopping for lunch really makes a big difference I used to never
stop just keep going until it's time to camp but when I biked with Sylvain from
Quebec we biked in Peru and in northern Argentina and he was always like we have
to stop we need to have lunch so it's a bit of a habit I picked up but it's very
good because then you definitely have a lot more energy and go further in the
evening and yeah and lunch is good especially when the weather is nice
every single time I have to do the DJI dance calibrate compass
what are you doing man? Come on!
Moo!
until 5 and it's not open so I'm just gonna go down and I think I can make it
for tomorrow dinner would be a bit light
hey dog so I found one store open and they had some food I'm in a bit of a
candy rush right now but I saw this track going and there is this amazing
mountain over there so I want to see if I can get closer to there to camp for
the night yeah I mean this is a day of bikepacking in Argentina it's nothing
special nothing too spectacular but it was nice there was some snow there was
some mud there was Sun there was internet and now there's gonna be
yeah I'm just walking I still don't trust the bike I don't trust the what's
remaining of the drivetrain of the freewheel back here so I definitely
don't want to pedal up anything more than 5-6% and we're almost there
so there's this these big chickens you can see their tracks here and they walk
like this on two legs I don't think they fly they're very big like ostrich
ostrich I think is the name so there's some of that running around here in the
Argentinian wilds I was very surprised to see these kind of creatures here but
apparently there are and they they get by I guess
the dog listening to the waves in our heart
we are on the boat
What if love, what if we believe?
As we die, in my eyes we cry
We set out to the sky
