Touring With Shen Yun & Beyond: 2023 Recap | 3 Musketeers

hey welcome back with the Three Musketeers today we've got something exciting for you wish you a Merry Christmas we wish you a Merry [Music] Christmas he was tested to have his organ harvested actually in prison yeah and it's his personal experience from him and that also inspired you right [Music] uhhuh [Music] BRS are so sketchy the way that we set up this stuff Rome was holding that camera the whole time on these rocks unfortunately the production got shelv this is when I actually stopped dancing life is about the journey and not the destination dancing requires so much discipline and you've been through it you kick 300 times every single day and you're forcing yourself to move and train even when you you don't feel like it how to plant bottle music and dance are like Universal languages so you don't need to understand Chinese to understand every dance in our performance we try to show values of Chinese civilization such as Harmony Between Heaven Earth and humankind I believe that one day we'll be able to go back to China beautiful beautiful brings tears to my eyes beautiful [Music] you okay get up get [Music] up yo GRS tea is empty I like how it looks on your head I left my coffee on top of the car what what there's a country that I'm banned from if I go there I could be imprisoned tortured or even worse truthful compassion and forbearance daa also known as I found it hard to pass these out to people I felt really like scared like I didn't know how to explain to people what was going on I was so young and there's so much stigma around it and it was hard to tell people the truth butterfly on me now this is my lucky butterfly [Music] the first thing I did was join a training session where we were stretching and from there on out I knew that I would have to say goodbye to my comfortable and easy lifestyle forever it was the most painful experience I've ever had in my life after many months of training we went went to our first live performance where I saw the audience and I saw that our performance truly touched the audience in a positive way I knew at that point I want to dance oh wow it's amazing how you guys found an actor that looks exactly like Dracula okay love Meen too cute he can be Santa Claus Sam do not miss that flight we're going to need you for the show let me show you the hotel I'm sure you're going to love it do you know who I am oh good job oops it was pretty hard at the beginning to do Musketeers and the show at the same time now I think I struck a balance it doesn't have to be like one or the other I only can do one well it's more like I can do both well Jeffrey son so Jeffrey you have a lot for the show but you still help out right is it tiring and why do you do it because you have to work as a group everyone has to contrib [Music] you I had really really like dark thoughts that almost wanted to give up on everything when I was 15 years old I watched Jin and it changed my life I immediately felt that this is what I want to do finally I'm a member of shenin which is on a mission that revived the traditional Divine and Grand culture which I wanted to achieve the [Music] most due to the ccp's influence the Chinese Consulate in the Dominican Republic tried to cancel our shows they used threats to harm the theaters and venues relationship with China and even offered Financial incentives to cancel our performances however we refused to back down and perform to a sold out audience anyway Hol repu Dominic while I was sleeping today I had a dream that someone was recording me saying that I warm up by sleeping you really have to focus on what you're doing at hand and that means no smartphones no distractions don't even read the news on a performance day basically you'll thank me in the future no than me don't go remember [Music] stop be daring to ask that question even if you think it is a stupid question and learn from it don't blame yourself it's not your fault be confident stay strong you're precious person if you had one chance to give your younger self one piece of advice what would it be don't be nervous don't be nervous everything's going to be fine so when I was was in my dance competition I was really nervous but when I thought about it what is the worst thing that can even happen Okay so I fail and I get kicked out of the competition but there's always next year and I can improve next year and try again practice practice practice today I'm going to tell you my top 10 Essentials for traving seven seven my coffee making gear inflatable mattress
