One Thing Every Parent Deserves

[Music] it's and it's time to [Music] Cate [Music] Yay good morning everyone we've had a busy morning already the kids had uh like a school program that they went to uh we did some classes we had a doctor's appointment and now we're going to a late lunch at a place that we haven't been to in a very long time I don't even think you've ever been here I've been here you've been here yeah I do when uh I didn't been here at 3 minutes you didn't been here at 3 minutes oh 3 minutes ago you got here m- have you ever eaten here we used to live near here so we used to eat here a lot but we don't anymore and uh it's it's a cool spot it's it's fun so we're going to go get some food and then uh continue on with our Day Advent oh you're ready for Advent already [Music] okay are we eating down this little path yeah I have milk you want to have milk okay here you go is this where we're eating down in here in this little little Zone I like it whoa what did you find did you find a sand [Music] pit so this place is really cool especially if you have kids because there's stuff to see stuff to do there's a whole sand pit that they can play in with toys and it's right by the beach so it's just really cool Ambiance and the food's really good and it's good times you're happy to be back back here yeah it's been a while that's where you leave and there's the [Music] ocean I'm so are you making tea me I am I'm making all boy te hot chocolate it's hot chocolate it's a hot [Music] getting a castle done for them oh you're you're doing it for them yeah for them for them it's for them so I don't think this little like place here that were sitting existed a long time ago like when Bailey was a little kid oh this little yeah this little Zone here yeah this little like we could we came in through this little path and then we come up here P yeah it was a pond you're right yeah I remember I love this place I strongly believe that every place in the world should have something like this for families and parents and kids it's like it's my favorite thing a place like this is the answer to all parenting stress all parenting stress I don't know obviously it doesn't solve every problem but I do think it is so amazing for a parent to have a time of rest while also seeing their child playing and thriving and in in nature making friends like I just think that that is such a beautiful thing when we were in Paris I feel like they had that along the sense and I've heard a lot about like Spain having the same thing but I haven't seen it a lot in the states so if you know of a place in the United States that is similar to this please share it share it for those around us or if you know about places like this anywhere in the world I just think share it with this community and let let's let's find places where parents can Thrive with their children because I think that this is just such a beautiful thing I can't tell you how many times I've seen dolphins in the ocean right here from here like you're having lunch and you're seeing dolphins jump out of the water it's amazing and there's a train track right between us and the beach and a train inevitably goes by whenever you're having a meal and all the kids go train and then the seagull steal your food when you're distracted by the trains that's very specific Bailey very specific that may have happened to me every time I came here there's grass to run around in there's there's a sand pit there's just a bunch of stuff for kids to do while they wait which allows parents to relax Christopher it is not just while the kids wait for the food it's while the parents eat the food like as a parent you get to eat your food I don't even remember while your kid plays you can see them they're happy they're meeting new people they're making friends love it remember I found a toy here once buried in the sand and I took it home and I probably shouldn't have done that but I still have it to this day you're you're pirate the pirate no that was at the beach oh you found a lot of obscure toys in the sand what was the toy from here an Ariel kitty it's like a cat that looked like Ariel the Mermaid The Little Mermaid it's a little mermaid cat Little Mermaid cat you guys have like a legit sand castle going over here that's mine H we should make like a castle and a secret C to our other Castle this the Hickory Burger roast beef sandwich avocado toast Caesar salad HS Burger Luke and Duncan tuna melt we got chips and guacamole for the table I got a grilled fish taco can't even see the fish in there yet though it's in there looks like they warned you Bailey [Applause] look at how high up that sign is look at this that's how tall it was I couldn't read that you couldn't see up there no I don't know looks like a pretty fair warning did you need it to say even if there's a train underneath it yeah it is funny that this sign is still here please stay out of planter and pond I think they just like and we are eating in the the former Pond which is in a planter I think they're trying to say like stay out of the planter but they didn't want to like redo the signs yeah I wish I wish they had done what my dad would have done and just Sharpie over Pond do you like it here mhm yeah and I like the the wle puzzle you like wetzels pretzels I like the other Sal I bye Parker what do you think of this place it's amazing hey Teddy do you like it here yeah what do you think of this place Duncan I think it's [Music] good thank you for sharing your sand with us stay out with the cers [Music] Parker has gymnastics bag all right Parker you go first that was dramatic chicken unicorn unn no it's not Alicorn but it's okay I can glue Wings on it yes I'll make it svy can I oh he's sharing it with his baby that was so fun did your baby like it I like it whose turn could it possibly be give her a little sniff she's checking it out Ru being very patient look what a good girl but Teddy wasn't quite as patient and he ripped the door off of that one oopsies oopsies all right number eight I'm just cting her belly she's she's going to love that that one the [Applause] buddy hey she doing a good job okay it's Bailey's turn okay oh I need to store a book I'm in a stable while Bailey's working on that you can work on this oh boy o is it another mug or another hat ooh another mug are you going to take a little sip Jacob um I think it's like powers or something that's guess like like you know how Iron the spider thing uh it did kind of come no that's like a that's like a reindeer something but do you see those wait what what's this I don't know like grayed out fill it maybe oh maybe that's in other one no that was from day five you already got those are the ones I already got Jacob works on that there we go it's number eight eight you broke it he didn't is tough that's some tough cardboard wow is it this one yeah that thing right there that's pretty how we doing over here we're still building yeah we're still building how we doing over here we're still solving how we doing over here we're still crafting start just getting started okay it's your turn my turn you're doing number eight it's this one oh boy what might it be in here I don't know let me give it a little start okay go ahead oh nice what is it it's a white boot pin it has a hat on it's it's not this one it's not that one what is it that one on the end mhm look right there what is that that A piggy a piggy I think it might be a raineer reindeer yeah you got a reindeer Jacob got a reindeer too yeah it's almost done in the bag is a little difficults at the moment he already got his belt in the bag licorice time what could it be probably licorice oh yeah maybe they have a plain licorice I think it's black licorice covered in I'm putting my did you know that each licorice piece is coated with up to 30 thin layers of chocolate classic salty caramel is that what I just had no this is salty and the other one was just caramel but the other one tasted salty so how I know maybe it's going to be saltier so excited ooh it's pretty like a gold Sheen to it I have it I'm going that's a lot of layers that's a lot of layers no I'm going to look for the layers this time very tasty you guys are going to like it I can taste each indiv actually I can only taste 28 of the layers oh this one crumbled more than usual here you go Duncan more than usual for me too it was ably one Crum crumbles more than usual crumbles good Bo crumbles yes please no it's not what is it salted caramel way more salty way more salty stop there we go okay got it it's good I A little birdie told me that you finished your build oh yeah was it me was I the little birdie you were the little birdie tweet tweet um looks good thank you definitely a reindeer in the back can I open it well a little birdie told me that it's your turn oh he's got the magic in him every time he touched that track it turns it to gold now everyone want some crystal magic I actually I hope we get some magic this time it's been science which is fun but the gloves I'm here for the magic magic oh it's magic magic it is Magic and it is a magic trick that I've I've never actually done before this is a new one to me wo you finished your craft yep that is awesome are you going to put it on our Christmas tree tomorrow actually if if me and Parker get a Christmas tree which I wanted it to happen we could put it on our Christmas tree okay yeah if we even are so you're planning on getting your own Christmas tree yeah up in our room okay we'll discuss this tomorrow I think I got to go pick up Parker from gymnastics okay [Music] okay Parker just got home from gymnastics do you have fun yeah and you're going to help me out with the magic trick okay okay okay you're going to record it so I'm going to give you the camera the magic Trick's right here okay what come in in close so you can see so we've got a bunch of rectangular beads in here and this right here okay and that locks all of those into place so if I turn this over those can't come out okay sound good mhm okay so I'm going to I'm going to release them and you're going to pick two colors which two colors do you want Parker I want the gold gold and the pink this one yeah okay okay so I'm going to put all of these beads back in here okay just like this the dark and you should be able to see them through these holes here you see them in the holes it's kind of hard to see unless the light's just right but you can see that they're in there right uh kind of okay you can see with your eyes even if the camera can't see okay good okay and then we're going to take this and put it through all the holes how down and that locks everything into place right yes down this is you picked two colors wait what everything else is locked into place I'm so confused magic wait what apparently while I was picking up Parker from gymnastics Bailey figured out her Advent calendar I did so as you can see I have Clues first clue said something about finding this star okay I found it right here oh but it's not on here it's just here okay so uh it said when you find the star you're able to put your code into the table the code is 656 I put the code in interesting It also says don't be Hasty wait a second the code isn't what you would reckon to find your code more easily use bobbles from the Christmas tree observe over here there are three red ornaments mhm yes I see that oh so three 9 four this was the hardest one yet right there number nine what was the theme this time um Jesus oh all right you went from die hard to Jesus in just like die hard to a few days yeah hi let's talk about what we learned today we learn to protect our food from seagulls even when a train goes by we learned that a little Sharpie scribble can save you from buying a whole new sign and finally we learned that if you're in a hurry don't worry just sing a little faster thanks for watching everyone we'll see you next [Music] [Applause] [Music] time it's time to [Music] Cate y y
