Arcade Game IN REAL LIFE - Bam Kazam!

[Music] good morning everyone usually we're in California but we drove to Arizona last night because Parker competing in his TNT Gymnastics for regionals which means that he's already passed State and now he's competing against other kids from other states we came here a little early to do some Adventures while we were here and today's first Adventure is going to be right here oh at BAM Kazam okay so basically this is kind of like an escape room you tried over and over and over again you don't really have like an hour time limit it's like three minutes if there is a time limit you have to do it over and over and over again to get it right but it's really fun [Music] today you guys are each and all gonna be our main characters of our live action arcade then of course all of the games starring each and every one of you guys we get two hours in here I don't know what to expect it's a human arcade but I see you're standing I see it an available one so we're gonna scan it with the wristband oh it's like a cave that's the cheese one it's a mirror maze America everyone got before me oh my crusty pickaxe avoiding some dangerous things out there okay avoid dangerous things along the way guys I thought we could send Parker in here um oh wow already I'm gonna go in the tunnel right now okay okay we're inside a mine shaft right now there are poisonous snakes and spiders okay okay going going I hear a snake there's one right there are you going watch out for snakes somebody touched a snake where's the snake or a spider there's spiders they're snakes we got through the first part of the mine shaft close the door yet Jacob okay close door to activate underground power Reserve oh we could not figure it out we're gonna do another a different one yeah and we'll come back to it all right we're in a heist now oh okay we can't touch the floor I want walked across this it's probably a lady gonna open this window here and check on us you got this Parker a lady [Music] there's a lady in that window watching us okay the blinds are closed [Music] hi hi we're hiding grandma looking at us through the window okay Parker get up there you're a climber I think it's closing costs the alarm she's right there she's on the other side she's mad there's two buttons we have to press them at the exact same time what oh I'm gonna climb cross and then get on top of that billboard thing okay and then I'm going to press the button as when you press the button so I'm going where I was before yes what about the top so you're going to the top of the billboard and then he's going around to where you were yes what happened what happened I'm gonna skip the floor yeah okay okay here we go okay doors the windows are closed okay windows are closed everybody's waiting Jacob's sounding thumpy Jacob's cross it's closed okay we're good uh it's opening opening close go okay use the board one two touch it to the metal thing on the side opening opening 20 19. 18. we have time dang it where are you trying to go it said 20 1918. it had a countdown on the thing to do what I don't know so Bailey and I need to get across we push it next time Parker needs to come over here and open the door okay Parker's getting across we're just gonna go she's not opening you just gotta get over there okay ready one two three okay yeah Jacob what we're gonna check out a new one oh this is Spacey I like this one fatal error score 20. okay let's see what does this do foreign number five ready oh my gosh this is such a every room in here is so cool game over why are we so bad at this inside the the rocket ship do you have to give commands so my voice is completely shot because I've been yelling commands like vector 4 and a C3 92 turn on Shields slime slime Vector nine lots of that and now I can't I can barely talk see how it's green we did it it took us like 45 minutes trying over and over and over again oh we're in the next part of the ship oh wow look at the theming in here I love it what's next right here did it work okay [Music] all right we're back in the spaceship we're gonna try this again here we go to paddle dinner yeah this one's purple this one looks like purple red purple yeah blue blue blue [Music] okay bring it in here [Music] red red and then yellow [Music] yes good good but now we get it Bailey you need [Music] [Applause] Parker can you reach that one way up there up Jake up Jake up Jake barely down foreign [Applause] [Music] there is a cat chasing we're currently inside of a whale trying to figure out how to get out we did it what's gonna open what are we gonna see next lasers oh wow okay we got some waffles got some lasers here but we don't know what the lasers do I'm guessing get down we got through the laser room and now there's monkeys there's balls down here oh throw the ball against the monkey can we get a ball can you get a ball throw it in the laser do they fit oh you got to get them up through the here [Music] we gave up on that one as well so this looks kind of ominous as well oh look there's letters I bet you have to step on the right letters Bailey's Bailey's deciding to just bypass all of the letters there's a maze over there she's going to put your finger in the Maze Jacob is also oh this room is really cool avoiding I know this is like very ornate three squiggly lines what does that mean water maybe you spell water oh oh we finally figured out this room and now we're in here oh it's a laser it's a laser it's a laser all right we just succeeded in our Second Challenge in this room it's feeling good now guys feeling like we're getting some stuff done is it oh back this way it's like actual what do we do oh is that what it was so we won we won a level we won the whole thing we did the whole thing fortune and Glory yes it was really fun I hope to come back someday soon there were some like things where you had to like crawl into like tiny spaces you'd like hit your head a lot I think he's calling me out I hit my head yeah you you hit your head pretty hard are you okay I'm still feeling it I dropped a Bailey in the Heist game yeah but like on your back back but the floor was padded so that was good the floors almost always it's all the spaces that you have to like do like all the like weird crawling things the most crowded room is the whale yeah definitely the whale looks very squishy very squishy I love that one hopefully we can come back like tonight I liked the cat Heist game and I like the Indiana Jones game each of the levels go back pretty quickly unless it's the spaceship one in which case it goes by in like seven minutes which is also pretty short I'll say that it definitely had kind of an escape room vibe to it but it was much more rapid fire and a lot more variety so instead of just getting through one room into a second room and maybe a third room over the course of an hour you're like three minutes in this room three minutes in this room if you get it you move on to the next one and I think we only completed one all the way through all three rooms it was really challenging and some of the things were the strategy based like an escape room would be but there was a lot of physicality and like my leg muscles are they feel like jello right now they're shaking there were also a lot of elements where you had to work together as a team so everybody has to get through the whole thing but then you also like using each other's bodies or minds work together to complete the tasks like you it's not just one person taking over the whole thing like in some escape room situations yeah oh oh you're calling me out let's try and give everyone a turn now but I feel like that happens with all escape room situations I think everybody I've talked to who does escape rooms like there usually is somebody who has led the whole thing or there's a person who's like that was great that was the most fun ever and they were the ones that left things so I think that they did a pretty good job with with lace making sure that everybody did something thing and was included and like actually you feel a lot of pressure because you have to be involved even if you're like oh my gosh I don't know if I can do that so I also feel like there were certain rooms or games where one person would take over that wouldn't take over in the next one like I felt like everyone kind of like the heist room Jacob was like okay here's how we do it and the space room you were like here's how we have to do it like different skill sets yeah yeah there were there were so many different rooms with a variety of skills that were being utilized in each room so that was really nice but that's I really liked the spaceship thing because I was like the leader yeah that was Jessica's room for sure for sure we picked up Luke Duncan and Teddy and Grandma Julie and now we are at the Museum of Illusions which is a very cool place inside of the boardwalk at Talking Stick and uh this whole place is very very cool they actually gifted us the tickets to the museum today also on this trip I think we're gonna check out the aquarium which is right over there and then there's a Ripley's Believe it or not that's up there that we're gonna check out there's just this is a really cool spot there's a lot of fun things to do I'm excited to explore it there's a bear you want to see the bear there you go yeah picture of you with the bear let's go in the museum of Illusions yeah did you know that Daddy used to be an Illusionist that means that's another way of saying a magician because I would do illusions different kinds of Illusions though [Music] [Music] thank you [Music] hi oh hi what's your name I'm daddy what's your name you're not Daddy you're a silly goose how come there are so many of you I don't know [Music] all right I think we're all done at the Museum of Illusions and uh now we're just gonna check out some of the other things that are here at the boardwalk uh before we call it a night in fact I think they have a dinosaur Grill here and as you can see there's a dinosaur here and oh a dinosaur hey go oh and it's hatching it's hatching what are you a dinosaur yeah you are you're a baby dinosaur oh my goodness it's almost broke oh the egg because you're hatching out of it oh yeah look at these dinosaurs that's a big one that's a Triceratops oh yeah look at that one that's it T-Rex that's a big tire huh yeah whoa you want to go in there okay [Music] so the dinosaur grill that we were gonna eat at the Pangea place was not open but there was a Red Robin nearby so we're gonna go eat some dinner and I think this is where we're gonna close out today so thank you so much for watching next time we will be going to the aquarium and Ripley's Believe it or not and I'm really excited about it I hope that you join us for that and I hope you have a wonderful rest of your week bye foreign
