Christopher's Birthday SURPRISE!

[Music] foreign [Music] good morning everyone it's my 40th birthday today and we're going to start things off at a cafe that's really cool it's attached to an airport like you can watch planes take off while you have your breakfast and I've always wanted to take Luke here and it's never really worked out to bring him here so this is gonna be his first time here and he loves airplanes so that's going to be really cool and it's going to be a wonderful day thanks for for joining us today it's an airplane this is where airplanes live yeah that's yeah that's clean do you see them flying all the way yeah look at Helen I bet we see some airplanes flying today [Music] how do you zoom out whisper I got it I'm a filming person happy birthday Superstar so Christopher is 40 years old and I was trying to think of a way to make him feel like a child again okay and there was one place where he always feels like a kid at heart so we are going to Disneyland [Laughter] we are going to Disneyland we're leaving tomorrow and we are going for three days what three days for three days you get to go on the jump ing hahaha and you get to go on the jumbo ride I love going on the Dumbo ride this is happening wait are we going to stay at a hotel we are going to stay at a hotel starting tomorrow night and through Monday happy birthday a lot wow oh my goodness yeah thank you [Music] so we are back home now and Parker said that he's ready to give me his gift so I uh oh Bailey Duncan and Parker and Luke's gift to me is something that has been very secretive I don't know anything about it I'm just walking into this room for the first time and I'm I'm walking into this there's these set up in here and um a hand behind that one pushing another hand away there are Chairs set up what does this one say oh this is mine I get the the monkey seat and Luke and Teddy who I think is in nap right now but uh this is my am I supposed to sit down on a seat okay so I'm gonna sit down on my seat I guess these are for me to cuddle during the show or something they were on my chair [Music] is there oh I think oh Rue's gonna watch the show too right Roo you watching the show you gonna watch the show so the kids have been planning this for weeks um primarily Parker he's clearly like director producer in charge and Duncan I guess I'm getting I'm being corrected I I didn't know about Duncan's more how how much more involved he was in it but apparently they're co-directors but they've been planning this in secret behind closed doors um for a really long time the part like Parker's been planning he's got a set list he's got costumes he has had no help from any adults like this is all them there is no video or flash for charm free unless you're filming that is fine you're able to pick your answers if you do not if if you are somewhere and you are filming you are able to film unless you are not that's your facts three two one you know now I'm gonna have a very friendly friend of mine to take Happening I just went to a guitar store with Eric and uh it was a lot of fun I'm going to talk to you more about it later in the Vlog but for right now we are all going out to dinner so that is Jessica's mom's with us my sister Rachel my sister Colleen Eric and their kids are all going to dinner we're going to Sushi I'm very excited about it I gotta hurry because we have a reservation so we're gonna go do that and then I'll talk to you about the guitar store because I'm very excited about what happened there yeah we're at the sushi restaurant and we take up about half of the restaurant this is all all for our crew over here when I mentioned it earlier I didn't realize that Jessica's sister and her family were going to be here I'm so happy that they're here and that Abby's here so this is this is like it's party and it's awesome and I'm so grateful for everybody that's here how are you feeling good you're ready for sushi what kind of sushi are you gonna get California roll yeah no can you tell me who made this shirt Jacob I don't think so I think Grandma Julie knitted that for you take a minute yeah your shirt that you're wearing no look at the the knit Grandma you want the kids Chopsticks getting it done yeah this is my cake it is chocolate cheesecake made by the beautiful wonderful Jessica Ballinger wife of my life and we are gonna add the candles right now I am oh we're getting candles no all four of us should add one in oh that's a good idea oh yes Luke and Teddy are already asleep ready one two three go four five I was gonna say this place is oh there's a fork in here that's not possible [Laughter] wow I don't know it was a fork it stands for 40. that's the thing I thought of to be creative where's the D's I'm ready because it actually tastes like metal no I like that on this thing I get the four Kingdom thank you sweetie you're welcome okay is it Unforgettable oh wow are we going in are we going here um I really like the cheese first time I tried cheesecake it I didn't really like it but this time I really liked it most of the kids are in bed now and I wanted to take a second to talk to you about going to the guitar store because it was really fun I went initially by myself just me in this guitar shop that was just packed with like used interesting guitars and I don't have a Telecaster guitar it's one of the more like basic electric guitars has a really cool sound it's actually that type of guitar that I built for Colleen for her guitar on My Guitar Building Channel and I love the way they sound a lot of my favorite uh musicians play a Telecaster and so I went in there and asked if I could check those out and this guy was super helpful got things off the shelves the racks for me out of storage I was like try this one try this one try this one and then Eric actually came and joined me and played guitars with me for a little bit and tried out a bunch of different stuff and I had a few different ones picked out that I was like really interested in I'll show you pictures of them so this one here was pretty cool I could really nerd out on all of these guitars this is a different this is not a Telecaster this blue one here my brain just then started going down the nerding like spec list of those guitars and wanting to talk about them but I'm gonna I'm gonna hold back because it's not important the important thing is I picked out a guitar and Eric and Colleen bought me the guitar uh which was unexpected and amazing and uh it is this guitar here it is a butterscotch blonde telecastmare you'll notice there's a little bit of discoloration here it is a used guitar and the previous owner either Drew on it or painted on it or put stickers on it and caused it some discoloration but I don't know that it has this Vibe and this feel to it that like no other guitar in the store had and um some of the things that I love about I love the sound of it the way the neck feels is amazing I can't say enough good stuff about it I'm so excited about having this guitar is a type of guitar that I've always wanted I'm not sure if I'm going to refinish it or not to to get rid of the discoloration it's kind of cool that it has the discoloration but it's also kind of like I could fix that I know how to do that it could be a future project for me it could be a guitar that I kind of play with a little bit in terms of the electronics and stuff all that stuff is like exciting to me so I just want to say a huge thank you to Jessica for giving me the afternoon to just like go peruse a guitar shop which was really fun and and cool to do and then Eric for helping me pick out the guitar and then Eric and Colleen and their whole family for buying this for me it's such a an amazing gift I can't I don't know how to put it into words how much uh it means to me so thank you so much and we had such a great time at dinner I know it was loud it was probably hard to hear us there but it was so great to see everybody to hang out with everybody the sushi was really good and it's just been a wonderful 40th birthday I I couldn't ask for more it's amazing amazing time and um yeah I just love my family so much [Music] thank you [Music]
