When I was little, I used to watch birds fly.
I remember watching birds stand on telephone poles, jump off, open their wings and start to fly.
And I remember telling my aunt, you know, when I get older, I'm going to do that.
Jeb, can we go back to the crash at Table Mountain?
Can you explain what happened there that day?
Yeah, we can start with basically, actually it started before that.
Yeah, oh, what a, what a beautiful, beautiful life.
Beautiful life.
I made a massive mistake and my mistake and my biggest mistake for sure was I'd lost fear.
All of a sudden, impact.
I don't know why I did that.
But then it was strange.
I went from being a world of suffering to a world of just like horror and ghosts.
Stay awake, buddy.
Talk to me.
Just you have to, but my friend.
What's the point?
You know, what's the point in what you do?
I'm like, you know what?
Good question.
I got like this, this moment of clarity where I was like,
nothing is more beautiful than just being alive.
You know, six months of being grounded was, it was hard.
I didn't realize how much I'd missed actually being in here.
Thank you so much, bro.
Awesome.
My goal now is to just try to be as healthy as I can
so I can rebuild myself so I can go back to doing what I love.
Okay, guys, this is going to be a 20 second call.
You know, fear is a super important thing, man.
And without fear, you will die.
I'm actually pretty happy this happened.
I think in the long run, it saved my life.
I feel very fortunate that I was able to make so many mistakes
and then have such a catastrophic accident and not die
and get an opportunity to live again.
