Real Salt Lake- Top 5 Goals of 2023!

They would just think, well, man, if we could just scrap a point away from home at RSL, that would be, that'd be a good result. Now teams feel like they can come in and take all three on a consistent basis. That's not a good trend. Gomez sets it up and... And oh! Jefferson Savarino! When he is at full tilt, there are few better than him! And the Venezuelan from long range gets his third of the season! Extraordinary in a moment in which this team needs a goal. Good hold up play. Gomez plays Jefferson Savarino. Isolated 1v1. Gets left shoulder of the outside right back. The shimmy, the shake and the Sava goal. Far post side net. Full stretch for JT Marcinkowski. Nothing the San Jose Earthquake goalkeeper can do it. That's a perfect angle right there from our Apple TV cameras to show you Jonathan Bond using that four man wall to protect the near post to his left. It is going to be Ruiz! Up 2-1! Continue to go with from the opening whistle. The technique is extraordinary. The left foot is a wand and there's nothing that Jonathan Bond can do about it. Full stretch. That's inside the post. Just picking out the side net. Third goal of the season for Paulo Ruiz. Technically one of the most gifted left foot in Major League Soccer. I mean a stinger. 60 yards out. Head up. Watch the touch. It just unleashes. You hit these after training. Overpaid for dinner. Promise you. It ain't me tonight says Paulo Ruiz. With one of the great goals you're going to see this year. Back and make a huge, huge save. But a good quick release from McMath there to create that attack. Third corner for RSL. Near post ball. Headed away. Follow up. Chance! What a rocket! And they're going to tough night for RSL. What a strike. Some spaces in the stadium. Heading for the concourse. This stadium froze. When they heard the sounds of that strike and the sights. Of an unbelievable first set up on the first touch. And then a perfect strike on the left foot. Always fading away from Tim Melia with no opportunity. To get anywhere near that one. And Vera who's hit some absolute lasers with his left foot. Available as well. It'll be Savarino! Everything will go with Jefferson Savarino. What he meant was the defensive effort. But what we knew were his capabilities. In the attack. And you see him hit that ball. That ball should not get past Clark. It's on his starting side. Opposite the wall.
