Is Hopsin Actually Any Good at Skateboarding?

what's up skaters hello and welcome back to another video today what we're going to be doing is checking out a little celebrity skateboarder now this guy is actually one of my favorite rappers of all time if you don't know who Hopson is and you're a skateboarder well it's time to get to know cuz his music is insane but that's not what we're going over today this is a game of skate that we're going to go over first and then a few of his trick compilations and see if Hopson is as good as people like Justin Bieber Little Wayne other celebrity skateboarders anyway all that being said let's full screen this and jump straight in this is a game escape to start us off I just beat him in the row sh so I'm about to play my man Andre in the gamecap hopefully always do all right sounds good my man hop I think they're at Woodward right now they kick up to start us off excuse me c anyway oh H misses the tray we got heel flip from my man Hopson oh that was a bit sketch hey I'm going to say redo yeah I would definely redo that 100% redo that that was abysmal even though man's a rapper and he toson you still got to call out yeah no I did this I did this oh you on this one I do yeah you got to redo it yo that was decent though what we got here thank you for that failed it who we playing against Andre cber now he traed got trade HPS in answered back nicely I I would love to go to Camp Woodward man it looks so fun even if just to teach the kids and play around on the ramps that would be hella of fun is that Nolly all right fakey flips out Hopson got that easy though hopson's got Steve he's probably or fa front big Hopson is probably one of the best skateboarders in my opinion when it comes to like celebrity style skateboarders you can tell he has definitely been ingrained in the culture from Young he's been about it I'm pretty sure he's even got a song called Molly tra he WS about skateboarding not so much nowadays but a lot more in the past was that Nolly Vero Hill or fakey still ver Hill is a good trick I love ver Hills we got back he is that the Nolly tray that's a bit of a I always find the back heel a lot tougher than a backside flip for some reason even though like the heel flip is the way the board is going to so it should theoretically be easier some reason for me I've always found back much easier but Hops and hops and slam that down no problem I fell off all right oh no did he not roll away we're going to have to run that one back I didn't see it was CH God that counts man he come off because of the bench there that definitely counts in my opinion like if if you look like you were going to stay on the board but then something that's in your way stops you and you step off I feel like you should still get that but I mean it's up for debate definitely good I fell off all right all right but he's being an honorable man going back for the back here freak freak the front bigman's back that L like it could have been switch I don't know which way this guy SC it's okay I got him I just waai he took the letter i on me I hate when people do that unless it's like unless you've got like an injury and trying this trick will really will likely antagonize your injury I think you should always try it even if you're just going to kick the board just ask a question of the guy that set the trick that you have no idea what to do and then see if you can replicate it because sometimes you'll be surprised I tell you where you won't be surprised when you take the letter because then you'll never get it who then not bad not bad at all go ahe cops run that one back cuz that was impeccably clean here we go God beautiful oh that doesn't count hand down I put my hand down that's no go yeah I do know this guy than you you just get the mom in the pink on the bike just like gliding through like it's nothing like watch the watch the Caren spawn in there she is it you just took him [Music] out yo fat hard flip slipped out of it again was that I didn't see that I don't think the camera man even qu that yo that was nice for some reason for me excuse me cat what are you doing you just want to sit in front of the camera yeah for me right now that we're doing it like this for me hard flips right I can never see to get them like technical like Hopson did it where it's like low but through the legs for me when I do them I always have to like jump super high and then the board goes under my feet it's a very unique way of doing it if anything it's definitely the harder way to learn it so if you're learning hard flips excuse me put that away if you're learning hard flips definitely go for the more technical version because as soon as you can't jump as high you'll lose it cuz I know why I do it took me ages to relearn it after losing it hard is something you always have to battle though even people can do it don't like doing it when it's in skate thanks for your love we got K hops is making a comeback here what is this group of Youth just hang around in the background we just been there like the whole game get out of here what youy ska the greatest comeback in Celebrity skateboarding history oh that was gnarly yo the back big spin is always one that I found really difficult to pop like the back big Spin and stuff like that I found it so much easier to do like a shove it variation of it and people always laugh when you do that in skate right but if that's the way you want to do it that's the way you want to do it for me I find it very much like 10 out of 10 difficulty to pop it but like a three out of 10 difficulty to slide it so until I can pop it you best believe I'm sliding it into the future one more try yes [Applause] I think that's the end of that hopson's on E now man he did actually kill that game though he did really good and Willow has been watching the whole time she seems to love it but we've got one more video to go we got a little compilation of tricks from our man Hopman himself so don't go anywhere Trick so I think we missed one at the start so yeah here we go first trick we got is a hard flip and let's be honest this hard flip flip is absolutely beautiful but I will explain to you what I meant before although I think Hopson does it the same way as me here you see how like his legs go higher than the board he has to jump up super high to be able to catch it for a hard flip that's the way I do it a lot of people do it like between the legs though so their legs like spread and the board flips between them and then they meet it in the middle anyway enough about hard flips what we got next little treay flip he caught that Tre flip nicely not much Seas on the catch but either way I rate that the oh that back side FP was beautiful we're going to run that one back hopson's obviously like very much flatland orientated I think he does do a bit of Street a bit of stair sets and that but obviously he's a busy man was that Nolly big spin heel or fakey H we got the double flip there absolutely beautiful as you know we're having a contest so submit your five on flat to five flat oh my God this this channel man literally this video I thought was going to be they call it hops and skateboard and the first 30 seconds was just some random dude skateboarding and then after that Hopson literally does like four CL four tricks for like 15 seconds and now all of a sudden it's back to this guy so this guy's definitely click baited this video and I have fallen for it so apologies for that but anyway in my opinion Hopson is one of the best celebrity skateboarders out there Willow seems to think so as well she's getting so much involved thank you guys for watching I'll see you in the next video
